This short thought provoking essay offers a new way to break the gridlock in Washington. A constitutional amendment which would allow secession. It would call for a one time national election where states would determine whether they wanted to remain in the Union or leave. A 60% vote would be required to leave. A probable outcome is offered as well as benefits for everyone involved. Also provided is a list of items to be considered when deciding how to vote.
