This was a good, non-preachy and easy to understand and follow book about yoga with loads of pictures and instructions on the poses, along with some nutritional and exercising advice. Although written by a person who is both a yoga teacher and body builder, she gives simple and sound advice from what she has seen and learned with her students, and doesn’t ‘no pain, no gain’ her regime. Gives a four week 5 day plan workout regime that can easily be modified to suit both body and time, and has different types of poses and exercises encompassing both worlds. As a yoga teacher myself I thought this book was good and would recommended it, especially to someone who knows a little about yoga or exercise, just to make sure poses and alignments were accurate and safe.

Better if you have a basic understanding of and familiarity with some of the poses first .
