So as I said before…a BDSM trial fully loaded in order to scare her away and protect her ‘cause it was the best thing to do, so…
description

What he didn’t cunt was that she was such a tempting delicatesse, that he would be the one needing protection from her
description

And besides looks like his perfect match just born
description

Now, yeah he’s trying to play his role at perfection… but he just can’t control himself
description

A few minor problems come around, and he does what any other man would…try to protect us by putting us aside. how cleaver they are right? ha!
But after some struggle…
description
PROS?
• Good scorching sex scenes
• Fast pace
• Quite short
• Soap opera action development
CONS?
• Some 50SoG déjà vu, hello? Darker room? Ha!
• The fierce menace came up to be nothing at such
• And the plot lacks of strength in everything else non related to their love/sex relationship
But I did enjoy it

I have to start this by saying I normally love Opal Carew's books but this one just didn't work for me. I did like the premise and a lot of the pieces but felt it just wasn't executed as well as she normally does. I kept reading because I had all three and wanted to continue to take it Mason. I do like Mason because his heart was always in the right place. Stepbrother, Mine gets just 3 stars from me. It has an overall happy ending because Mason realizes he is in love with Dana and can't be apart from her.

And this story just went downhill. I get that Mason is trying to still protect her and scare her away from being his sub, but really dude. He treats her more like a dog or servant than a sub. 'Kneel at my door and wait for me after you've cooked my breakfast'...really? And then throw away all the leftovers, and you don't get to eat. There is a threesome in this part. Then the ending...rush, rush, rush and done. On a side note, what does this author have against using condoms?

Stepbrother, Mine #3 begins seamlessly where Part #2 left off. THIS time, Dana is not looking for answers of their past, but of their future. Mason has been using the 'I have dark urges' excuse to himself for waaaay too long and Dana is about to call him out! Because Dana's love and desire for Mason far outweigh any fear she may have about what his sexual needs might be...and those feelings are reciprocated by Mason, he's just not willing to admit to it just yet ;)

I'm gonna be honest and tell you that at this point, as a reader, Mason was grating on my last nerve. I honestly thought we wouldn't see and more of Mason's idiotic refusal to see what is right in front of him. The mental game he continued to play with himself on whether he was good enough for Dana over-played itself and Dana's constant reference to him as 'stebbrother' bordered on ridiculous. Because at this point in the story, we have the whole picture of the past and they were siblings for a nano-second in time!!! lol So the story lost a little ground for me because of this...

Anywhoooo ..... Dana sets out to prove she can fulfill Mason and it gets HOT HOT HOT :) The story takes a few little twist that shouldn't be too big a surprise to anyone paying attention, throws us a little suspense but in the end our warm-hearted charming man gets his girl! As it should be :)

Stebrother, Mine was a beautiful story of trust, growth, friendship and love. It was a beautiful twist on the usual taboo stepbrother trope and it should not be missed by any romance reader out there!

This book was published as 3 novella’s over three weeks. This review will cover all 3 books in one review as they were all quite short I thought it better to add my views on one review. Warning this review may contain spoilers for all 3 books.
The story is about Dana and Mason. Dana has been cut off my her mum and she needs money to carry on with her fees so one of her friends suggests she sells her virginity on a website. The ad is then seen by Mason who it turns out was her stepbrother a years ago but he suddenly disappeared from Dana’s life and then her mum and step father separated. Mason never intends to take what he has paid her he just wants to help Dana.
Book 1 is about Dana and Mason reconnecting and getting to know each other and we get flash back to the previous times together. It was great to see their relationship when they were younger and how Mason cared for Dana in the absence of her mum and to keep her out of the her step fathers reach.
In book 2 we learn about why Mason disappeared and left Dana and their relationship begins to grow. This book also introduces a BDSM element that I wasn’t expecting as Mason seemed different with Dana. He seemed so caring so I was surprised when he told Dana he wanted this kind of relationship even if it was to push her away.
Book 3 sees their relationship intensive and Dana goes from being very inexperienced to having a lot of BDSM situation thrown at her by Mason but will their relationship to more?
All three books flowed well and the plot was well written with lots of twists in the story. Books 1 and 2 do end in a cliff hanger so I was pleased I had all three to read back to back. At many points in the book it gets hot and steamy. Something happened in book 3 which I felt was a little rushed and could have been extended further. Each novella is fairly short (about 80 pages) so I read all three in a couple of hours.
Overall a great sexy hot read that I really enjoyed.

Book 3 takes us on a whirlwind of events. Mason is still in denial thinking that his love and the whole stepbrother factor will out way his feelings for Dana.

He shows her his Dom side, trying to turn her away but it backfires on him and she is intrigued and willing to do anything to show him she wants him .

This has his emotions in turmoil.

A few moments within the story I can say he shit me - his aggroance and some times the way in which he treated Dana the way he did erked me. And pushing her away - but I understand he was trying to show her his ways.

It certainly outweighed the Hot, and spicy scenes, loved one scenerio ** wipes brow** I certainly didn't see that coming, but enjoyed the steamy xxx moment. Opal has no qualms in delivery hot goodness to the pages, making it seem realistic and dam delicious. All who enjoy heat and sexy moments will especially enjoy this scene.

We see the relationship between Dana and Mason develop, backstory added in and one particular character I was surprised about.

A bit of suspense is added in , to give us a WTF moment and wandering what is going to happen. This was fast paced but gave us a moment to think holy crap what the hell just happened. UNPREDICTABLE

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Very short novella's - this could have been written in one novel. But the anticipation at the end of each book will certainly leave you wanting more.

Stepbrother Mine series is delivered with a great plot , with all events - moments - all strung together with a wonderful ending.

Pieced together with Every little component of the story effortlessly written

A sinfully addictive novela series of panty-dropping , erotica with a few twists and turns, and lots of hot loving.

What a fantastic ending to an interesting series. At first I thought it was going to be way different than it was. The author provided us with a very sensuous story without the ewww factor.
We still got the romance and kink factor but in reality she delivered so much more.
I am so addicted to her short books. These would be wonderful as one long book but....the anticipation factor can't be denied with these short series books.
Would I recommend it? No doubt whatsoever!
Mason and Dana's story is sure to please and the closure of Mason's father/ Dana's stepfather was perfect.

The fact that Mason went from somewhat sweet guy to a complete DH turned me off. And the fact that Dana was so desperate for his love, she'd do whatever he wanted. I was on the fence about this going in, but I ended up not caring how the story ended. I just wanted to be done.

I received a copy of this story through NetGalley from St. Martin's Press for an honest review. Book 3 is the last part of Mason and Dana's story. Where as I enjoyed and was caught up in Mason and Dana's relationship in books 1 and 2, this one took a turn. I found it hard to like or understand Mason and then wishing Dana had more self-respect no matter how strong she felt for him.

It's been about 3 weeks since the two reconnected and... well... Dana sure has had a big few weeks! She's quite experienced by the end and probably needs a good soaking or some ointment at minimum. This part of the series gets heavily into the BDSM angle. It's not really my thing, but I have read several books in this genre and this one made me super sad for Dana. If this was your first book reading a BDSM genre book, I'd suggest you give another a try as this threw it all in there at once (and literally into 2 days).

To protect Dana, Mason decides to run her off by showing her the most extreme and hardcore side of his lifestyle rather than kindly walking away. By the end of the first day of their new arrangement he's thrown everything at her without her knowing what's going on or what to expect. The D/s relationship is one way and I didn't feel was respectful of Dana's role. He's intentionally setting her up to fail and cruelly because he knows her feelings for him. He is back to those opening pages in book 1 as cold, indifferent and distant. I was sad for how confused she was and wanted to please him without having a clue as to what was going on and why. She did everything to please him and he took great lengths to push her away. I thought a scene with James would finally stop it, but nope. Although it was written well, I was sad for her and how far he pushes her almost up to the last chapter.

The 2nd book we saw a soft and giving side of Mason. In this one it's extreme and hard to find the redeeming qualities the author built for 2/3 of the series. Of course we get a HEA and he achieves a mutual balance of pleasure together, but this last part of their story fell short for me. The bad guy in the story finally makes his move and it felt rushed

Overall, I did enjoy the book and I think it helped to read all 3 at once. If you do read them separately or as they're released, the "cliffhangers" aren't devastating (good grief Deborah Bladon is a master at that and drives me insane).

PS - CONDOMS!!!!

Title: Stepbrother, Mine
Author: Opal Carew
Publisher/Year: St Martin's Press 8/11/15
Length: 51 pages
Series: Stepbrother Mine #3

Overview

Unable to let Dana slip away again, Mason bids on the one thing he's always wanted--even if it is completely forbidden. He's fantasied about having Dana to himself for years, touching her smooth skin, tasting her sweet lips. But Dana is off-limits...or is she? All it takes is just one kiss to find out...

My Thoughts

The finale that we've been waiting for - i think that it's safe to say that we were all curious to see how things would end up given that Mason's father was out for revenge, blood and well - Dana.

That's not the focal point though for much of this third installment. What we get here is Mason's attempt to push Dana away by showing her what it is that he likes in a sub - and how much he needs more than vanilla. what he doesn't expect though is how tenacious Dana is and how far she will go to please him.

Throughout this final book, we get what Ms. Carew is great at yet again - the heat and passion, but the interesting bits of BDSM brought to the story line in a way that's also very tasteful. I think that there's something to be said about showing the lifestyle in a way that's very subtle but that still shows us that the people get what they need in their own way.

I think that as we go through this story, we keep wondering what's going to happen next. i mean, we know that Chas wants to take Mason down and also get his hands on Dana. but the other question of course too is that Maria's a wild card. She's got this past with Mason of course, and she's married now to his father - but i feel like there's still a pending twist. I hope that we get to see that play out.

The struggle that they deal with though as a couple is that there's a bit of a scandal that comes out with the media saying that Mason's sleeping with his sister and no one wants to clarify that point. There's also the point that Mason's going to protect her with everything that he has and that means sending her to Paris. That distance can do horrible things to a couple, so it's going to be interesting to see how that plays out. And finally, the final chapter - where we see there's a shift in power, the Dom becomes the sub. interesting no?

In the final installment of this serial series we get a closer look at step-daddy dearest and Mason is finally being honest with Dana about the kind of relationship floats his boat... The only problem with that... well as he shows her his world, he also shows what a giant prick he is.

With Dana so eager to please Mason, giving in to trying out his ‘way’ we see him treat her with a bit more cruelty than I would guess he’d treat his normal subs, since he is of course trying to chase her away. But this is the problem that I have with that. In all fairness, this is fiction, but the D/s relationship needs to have some form of caring involved. If not love, at least some form of the Dom providing and taking care of his sub.

Mason was cold with her for the most part and it really shifted any luke-warm feelings to ice cold as he continued to use his fetish to push her away.

In the end, this last installment just fell flat. Beyond the issues with Mason, I didn’t feel like there was enough of a background story to make the daddy issues seem relevant. They seemed to be a bit much given there was little time to give that aspect of the story enough word space. I think the concept of a former step-brother purchasing her virginity and now being of legal age and into kink would have been enough to make this story work on it’s own.

Stepbrother Mine is a novel in 3 parts. I will review each part individually.

I should start with saying I don't normally read the whole "Stepbrother" trope. It's not my thing and typically leaves me feeling all sorts of dirty. But, I am a huge fan of Opal Carew and decided to give this one a try. I am glad I did. Opal has a way with writing erotica. Her books are typically super short and very taboo. Yet, you're not left feeling like you were rushed or you missed something. Better yet, the characters are well-developed. You find yourself falling into the story and falling for the characters.

In the third and final installment, Mason bids on Dana and their story together begins. I loved Mason and Dana together. It never felt incestuous at all which is a huge issue for me with these books. We learn so much of Mason's past and his issues with his father.

Mason is a sexy, protective, alpha who wants things his way. The man knows his way around the bed and definitely knows how to wring every bit of pleasure possible from Dana. He was so sweet that he tried to hold back and not take what Dana was so blatantly offering. I loved how Dana got what she wanted anyways. She wasn't sneaky or manipulating. She just put it out there and stood her ground.

This segment just ruined the series for me...2.5 stars

I don't know what happened to the hero that interested me in the first book, but I certainly didn't see them here. Hoping that the blah feeling I had after the rather short second book was going to be turned around in this book never happened and it only got worse.

Mason is a total jerk in this book and it isn't because of him preferring a Dom/sub relationship, it is the way in which he does it. He was cruel to Dana and honestly, I can't believe she was that much of a doormat. I was never really a fan of Dana in this series but this book really solidified that for me. Then there is Maria, seriously, I think Mason should just go off with her as he seems to have a soft spot for her and honestly that sickens me if he is to be so enamored with Dana.

I'm glad this was not the first Dom/sub book I had read or I would never give that genre consideration after reading this book. Admittedly there is one scene involving a third party that while at its core was disturbing was very steamy. Overall, it would hard for me to recommend this book and therefore the series. Everything just was too unrealistic and the road to the HEA was rushed and not satisfying.

Stepbrother, Mine

The Characters:

Mason
Dana

I don’t think I ever saw their last names. I guess they are unimportant in the long run but it’s weird.

The Story:

This little serial started out with a bang and ended with banging. Really the last scene is them doing it. (again) A lot happens in this last part. all in just 78 pages. Phew! I think I would have like to see a few scenes fleshed out a bit more but overall it was enjoyable.

The Random Thoughts:

I hated this installment with all my heart!!
Mason was so controlling! I mean he was basically treating her like a lap dog! He was tapping her on the head while she was kneeling at his feet.
and then he orchestrates a threesome !! I mean wasn't he the same Mason who was trying to keep her from having sex like with anyone?!!
I guess.. I just have issues with poeple being in love and then out of nowhere they're enjoying having sex with someone else even if (especially) their partner is the one orchestrating it!
I guess I need to steer clear from threesomes!

Eeesh. I was not a fan. Several things:

1. Absolutely nothing forbidden here. Their parents weren't even married anymore. And it was for 3 years. Snore.
2. He has multiple partners at the beginning with graphic scenes. And no condoms. With 3 "subs". I hate the word "sub". Ugh.
3. He has sex with heroine. Without a condom.
4. He practically forces her into a threesome with another man. Again, no condom.
5. He has sex with another woman not previously listed. No condom.
6. Her entire introduction to his lifestyle was like throwing her into a river with a heavy current and she doesn't know how to swim. And he loves her? Way to show it, asshole.
7. Overused tropes. Multiple ones.
8. They basically just rehash their past interactions for 2-3 weeks and live HEA. ???? snore.
9. Page 215. His punishment? Fuck you, dude. That's apparently a hard limit for me. Completely unreasonable on his part, it was his fault he lacked self-control Which would be fine in a teasing-punishing manner. But not a real one.
10. Page 222 until the end. This should have been a serious discussion. And the end was abrupt as fuck.

One thing I did like. Literally ONE:

(In response to selling her virginity.)

"It's your decision, but I still think it's a good idea. I gave my virginity to a dumb jock in high school, and all I got out of it was a pregnancy scare."

Bonus points: I guess it's interesting that he wiped his face after "devouring" her. That's rare. I don't really CARE. But I'm trying to give this book something for being original.

Well, If you are looking for straight erotica book three is the one for you. The other two well not so much. This really started to feel dark at the beginning due to the way book two ended. I really came into it with an open mind though and this one picked up. Good thing I read book one and two because I think I would have been lost.
But the plot overall not that hard. Dana in love with the man who was her stepbrother for two whole years. She was 16 at the time to 18. Mason on the other hand was 10 years older. Although they were both crushing on each other neither acted on it, or at least not until Dana was 18 and she is the one who acted first.
You see Dana’s mom was married to Mason’s much older kinky father who was boinking his maid Maria at the same time he was married. So, Mason knowing his dad’s kinky side decided to move into the mansion to protect Dana from him. As it turned out when he moved back in while his father and Dana’s mother were on their honeymoon, Dana had been moved into the house and had been living there alone and afraid, with only the servants.
He could tell she hated it too.
So from that day on he worked from home most days or he at least had breakfast with her before she went to school. He tried to be home when she got home from school. They ate as a family of two. He took her on outings they watched movies and he comforted her. At 18 she was ready to give herself to him so when she comes down to get ready to go when her date arrived for the prom and their eyes locked…
Dana jumped up hugged him around the neck and French kissed him of which he reciprocated holding her so tight she could feel his member. He pushes her away when the doorbell rings coming to his senses. He greets her date and he practically throws her into her dates arms. To her stun hurt eyes. She leaves with her date. Mason is so upset he goes to his office to think because he wanted Dana as much as Dana wanted him. Maria the maid offers to relieve the pressure in his member and after a few drinks and pain he says okay.
She says she likes role playing of being forced and her denial. At that point he didn’t care he had to get the pressure and freak-out over with. Little did he know Dana had played sick and doubled back, she wanted to tell him how she felt and that she loved him and wanted to be with him.
Jump forward 9 years. Dana’s father dies her mom is in charge of paying for her college. She wants to do her masters in Paris. She had a month left in this year and her mom said no more. She was not paying any more for her to get a job. So she talks to her BFF. Now she sold her virginity and guess who bought it? Mason that’s who! The thing is he tried to send her packing with the money out right. No intercourse involved. She said no because he didn’t know it she had always dreamt of being with him. Her first time even up until the night before going to the buyer. Not knowing the person who bought it was him.
So, now he has to scare her and tell the truth he’s into BDSM! She says she will be his Sub just teach her. Can he do it will she be able to take it? Will it turn out the way they both dreamed of it being? It got better at the end. I wrapped it up at the end a good thing or it would have been a lower score like book two. I give this book 4 stars. The Delight
Here we are at the last book and I can't say I love it. The pieces are disjointed, there is no depth to the characters and I am bored. Since each story is a add on, spoilers will not be contained.

Mason has three days to convince Dana they are wrong for each other. Three days to shock her with his dark Dominant side that she has no clue of and convince her to take his money and live a normal vanilla life. While also doing that he has to figure out what his father has planned as he knows Chaz wanted Dana even as a teen and trolls the virgin selling sites for new meat.

Dana is convinced she can be what Mason needs and wants. She won't say no and will push to make him realize it to the point I wanted to scream.

And so Mason begins with the first day where he denies her much affection. He makes her kneel, stay naked and perform the sexual acts with no satisfaction for her. Basically a slave with all the right holes for him to use. Mason pushes her boundaries which at one point I figured out she really doesn't have any boundaries. He ties her up to a chair with a ball gag and leaves her in a room alone with a signal of tapping if it was too much. Granted he watched her on a video screen while he was taking care of issues with his father, but you know his attention wasn't on her. It is all glossed over.

When she doesn't give up after that he invites in another man to fuck her. And they get into double penetration. Yep, DP when this girl was a virgin just days before. I was just sitting there shocked at how well she took it all and wanted it to please Mason. *gag*

There were other things he tried to force her to leave him and she hung on to the bitter end until the climax of what Chaz does drives Mason to send her off to France...now wait a minute, when did she finish college to go pursue her MBA? She's been too busy getting her sex game on to finish her study, do homework or even finish her finals. I guess if you have a billionaire screwing you, he can make things happen or go away.

The ending is really rushed and so wrong I won't go into it. Let's just say it wasn't keeping with the characters and it felt weak and silly. These two deserve each other and I say good riddance. I question Mason's ability to be a Dom and Dana's sanity to not be a doormat. The story was disjointed and felt like it was rushed and crammed into a book. Just not what I was hoping for when I picked up this serial series.

Why push someone away when all you want to do is take her in your arms and love her but this stubborn man does exactly just that.

This is the last installment of this story I was angry with Mason for what he was doing. He had this woman that was willing to please him and do what he wanted but instead of loving her he tries to push her. I really liked Mason in the beginning but by the time I was half way done with this installment I really wanted for Dana just to leave him and not look back. I really admired Dana because she was really trying to make something work between them but every time she did something right he pushed her harder. I was surprised that she never found out what he was hiding from her but then again this story at least for me had unexpected situations happen. I know that he was going to make it tough on her but he really pushed it and Dana surprised him. While I was reading this I had totally forgotten how the second installment had left off because of the sizzling chemistry that Mason and Dana had. Then it happened and I really did feel frightened for her because Ms. Carew had already described this man as slimy and I knew something bad was going to happen.

Stepbrother, Mine #3 was an irritating read but I loved it. I knew that I probably cursed Mason up and down but at the end I knew that he just wanted to protect her. Dana was a woman that knew what she wanted and got it. She experienced so many things and loved every minute of it with the exception of one punishment. Ms. Carew writing is exceptional and captivating. From the moment that I started reading some of her stories I knew I needed to continue and I know I will not be stopping.

I totally recommend this read!!

Now that Dana has finally gotten the man she has longed for for so many years, she is willing to do anything to keep him. But she quickly learns that fulfilling Masons desires won't be easy and she will be forced she do things she never thought she would do.

This is the final part of a three part serial featuring Dana and her stepbrother Mason. This one was defiantly hotter than the other two, has a m/f/m scene in it which the author is famous for, and some drama with Masons dad putting lies about their relationship out in the media. But overall it still left me wanting more. That is the problems with serials, they are so short the reader is left wanting to know more about the characters and what makes them tick.

My thoughts:

POV switches between Dana and Mason
Quick hook or slow starter? 4 (picks up right where book two leaves off)
Character development: 3
Level of Romance between characters: 3
Passion/Heat level: 4 (the sex is definitely hotter in this one than the other two and there is a lot of it.)
Angst/Heartbreak: 3.5 (a little more drama in this one than the other two)
Cliffhanger?: Nope, this is the last in the series and does not end on a cliffhanger.

Overall, this series just left me wanting more. This is the second group of serials I have read from this author and I think in the future, I am just going to stick with her full length books. If you are looking for a quick read with sex and not much else, give it a try...at least you know what you are getting into.

Once Mason decides to let Dana know about his being a Dominant and his need for BDSM, which explains why he doesn't think they'll work out in the end, he's determined to turn her off from the lifestyle she's now very curious of. The thing is, Mason has underestimated Dana and the lengths she's willing to go through to make him realize that she accepts everything about him, even his alternative sexual lifestyle.

There were times that I felt Mason went a bit too far with Dana, and while I understand that he was doing so because he wanted her to be the one to walk away from him, this was also an introduction to a lifestyle that she was unfamiliar with. Of course, curiosity mixed together with love can be a potent mix and Dana's determination was a strange combination of foolhardiness and courage. Ah, the things one does for love.

This third and final installment in the mini-series ties everything together satisfactorily and readers get to see if Mason and Dana's relationship is able to survive Dana's delving into the world of BDSM. She does, after all, seem to be more than willing to do anything and everything for Mason, even though she is somewhat willful and naive. Still, I came away from this feeling adequately entertained all throughout.

Mason has a strong protective instinct when it comes to Dana and it is this instinct that guides him to show her he is the wrong man for her. Dana knows her heart will ever love Mason and is willing to go through any test he gives her.

I kept on reading from #2 as I wanted to see if Mason could heal. If he could realize he is the man he believed he could never be. Truly after the first two installments it was Mason who kept me reading. I got to like him and what he had accomplished. I thought he would rise to protect Dana from the dangers revealed at the end of #2. He did, but the way he did it just didn’t sit well with me. I am so tired of the “I am going to make you hate me to save you” plot. Since this is an erotic serial you can imagine all the places it could go, and yeah it did. The writing was still stilted for me, with dialog rather bland. The danger twist was unbelievable and its solution implausible to me. I didn’t feel love and roses with an HEA at the end.

A few observations – I realized I am not a serial reader – I need to have a complete story available to me to read when I want to read it. Second observation – I like my steamy scenes with more plot and substance, erotica might not be a genre for me – no matter the blurb or sexy cover.

ARC given from NetGalley in exchange for a honest review

I am kind of into the whole Stepbrother thing right now.. I am really enjoying them.. I am going to put my review for all 3 books together..
Dana is a college student.. She is in dire (sp) need of some money.. So how is she going to get it?? Well lest sell our virginity… Yep that should do..
Mason is a very very wealthy business man.. sexy beyond words.. but he is also Dana’s Stepbrother… (well used to be stepbrother) see her mom and his dad have divorced now..
See Mason is the big winner.. and this is where these two reconnect… Throughout the books we get glimpses into the past..
Dana has always had such strong feelings for Mason during the few years they spent together.. I think he showed her more caring and compassion towards her then her own mother did..
We get some hotness with these two.. Dana pushing Mason.. because as I said she has always had these feelings towards him.. Now that she has him.. she is not letting him go..
There were parts in this book where Mason was a A$$ and maybe its him trying to push her away because he wants to protect her.. IDK.. but all in all I did enjoy the read… Thank you NetGalley for allowing me the opportunity to read this series. 

Stepbrother, Mine #3

This story was gifted to me in exchange for an honest review.

It is the third and final segment in this trilogy. I thought all three of them were very well done. Dana sells her virginity and finds that Mason, her step brother from her teens has purchased the contract. He doesn't want to take her virginity but is willing to help her financially. Eventually things get hot and heavy between them and then he tries to scare her away because of some of his darker desires.

This is their story. This is Dana's chance to look into his world and see if she can belong, to see if they can become something together. It is definitely a little bit more erotic than the first story. It has a bit of a bite to it sexually as he tries to push and break her. She is determined to be tougher than he thinks and hang on to the man she has loved for years.

Even though the vibe and feel of the story changed so drastically from the first two sweet and innocent segments I truly enjoyed it. I thought it was a great ending and loved how she grew sexually and the things she was able to discover and try out.

I would give the series a 5/5 and look forward to more by this author.

When Dana's mother remarried she formed a crush on the one man in her life her showed her any form of love or kindness, her new stepbrother Mason. When her mother decides she will no longer pay for college Dana does the only thing she can think of to get enough money quickly. Mason see's what she is doing and buys her contract with no intentions of actually fulfilling it. He just wants to help her financially and get her off that site. Can it stay plutonic like Mason wants it to or will Dana win and make him her first? Can these two be happy without each other in the end?

I am usually iffy about the whole step sibling romance but well they are my kryptonite for some reason. Opal Carew however did an amazing job writing this book. I loved the characters and the development of the story. Opal has quickly become one of my favorite authors. Her series have a way of making you want more even when they are over. All three parts flowed effortlessly and seemlessly. I would love to learn more about Dana and Mason. I can't get enough of Opal's books and can't wait for the next series I can get my hands on.

YES! YES! YES! I loved the conclusion to this three part novel. Opal Carew does it again another ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ read for me. Dana and Mason have a lot going on in this book. Dana has to try and persuade Mason to give her a chance at being his sub, she's unsure of what to do and Mason turns his true Dom self on to give her a taste of his needs, all I can say about that is...holy shit that was HOT! Chas makes an unwanted appearance, I would have like a bit more of the aftermath but it was wrapped up nicely.

Opal Carew is an author that I know when reading one of her books I will be captivated until the last page has been read. She has a way of pulling you into a story and keeping hold of you so you never want it to end.

I received this book as an ARC from Net Galley for my honest review

In the first book Dana is down on her luck and with little options to choose from she makes the very drastic choice to pull her "V card" out and sell it to the highest bidder. Mason purchases Dana's V card to scare her...but ends up making her an offer she can not refuse. In the second book they flash back to the past and show us how it all began.

In the third book we are all in; Mason and Dana are stepping up to the next level in their relationship and are deep in the after glow of things. But can their action in the bedroom and infatuation that has lasted over the years handle what's coming? Read and find out!

I must admit I had some oh boy is he going to do what I think he is going to do moments and oh no girl think things through moments as well as oh wow girly go hard or go home moments but overall I was left satisfied. This book is on sale right now for 2.99 on Kindle Amazon and I think that is a very good price.

Overall very good book for a great price.

Well that ended with a bang didnt it? I have to say that I loved the story between Dana and Mason. I think the title is unfair as some people might look at it and pass it up thinking its the typical story when its not. It is actually a story of two people in love who find each other again after a very long time, only to realise they still have feelings for each other. There were moments I wanted to punch some of the characters, I mean some of them had me grinding my teeth in hate. There were sweet moments and as expected with Opals books, there were many hot moments! I liked this series and I think most people who want to spice up there day would enjoy it! The only tiny negative is I would like more to be done with the scene with Masons dad, that could have been more in-depth...but that was little!!
