This is the first of the newer translated Disney comics from Papercutz and I really enjoyed it! The plot seems to be written to appeal to a wide audience and had a lot of fun characters and action packed into its 50 pages. Minnie loses a compact mirror which leads to a case of mistaken identity and takes Mickey on a dimension-spanning adventure to stop an evil creature from regaining his power. Whew!

I loved it. Maybe not the finest artwork of Mickey Mouse's long and storied history, but it is not bad at all, And I loved the Pipwolf character who is basically a werewolf form of Goofy. Enjoyable for kids and goofs like me who are kids at heart. I bought a hardback version at Half-Priced Books yesterday.

Saw the cover. A Goofy wewewolf? No, it is Pipwolf. A realm hopping nice time.

An odd little story, apparently called X-Mickey after the X-Files....

Read for library bingo sheet. Somewhat interesting but jumped from scene to scene quickly and made it confusing. Ending was very anti-climatic. Meh.

So I just finished this graphic novel. The concept is interesting. Mickey Mouse checks out other worldly things, kind of like a Disneized X-Files. It's a fun concept and works out quite well, I just feel that some places skip forward to fast, and are not well explained. The art is excellent and fun. Any member of a Disney loving family is sure to like this title. Can not wait to see what they do next.

Seriously, what is going on here?
Am I missing something?
Nothing really made sense narratively or even how these characters work...
