Soooo where to begin….. 🤪

I'm in love 😂

This book was brilliant, for a taster of whats to come (being book 1) in the Moonfall Academy.

And it's in the same universe/timeline as Starfall Academy. BONUS!!!!

I liked the main plot being a girl going uncover basically, to search for her sister who has been missing for several months.

In order to do this she has to attend an all boys school.

Being a paranormal romance, we know there will be magic at play.

Also with it being a paranormal book, like Starfall we get to read about a wide range on characters, shifters, mages, fae humans and loads more.

A hormonal hybrid in an all boys school. What could go wrong??? Lmao

The side plots involve fated mates, soul bonds and family dramas.

This book is filled with drama, violence, a hell of a lot of sass and sarcasm (which i loves) and some cute pet names!!!

A really good start to the series. Can't wait for book 2!!!!

Ahhh Lyra the cliff hangers get me every time!!

Riley is a Hybrid Wolf/human shifter who goes under cover as a male to the all male shifter academy to find out information regarding her sisters disappearance. I absolutely loved the hidden identity and driving the men wild! Riley was an absolute badass FMC, she was fierce, strong, loyal and true to herself always.

Tobia, is a cinnamon roll wolf shifter! He was the fun one and he never gave up on his obsession of Riley. Tate being the Alpha of all Alphas - stoic and a leader, I cannot wait to see him melt! Hunter (who she calls Simba haha) is a Lion shifter and I am excited to see that dynamic evolve. And my fav, TANK! The big, feral wolf shifter than melts into a puddle of goo around Riley, she calls him Wolfie !!!

Overall, this was a great book 1 in the series, really setting the scene and whats to come in the series, as always Lyra hits you with the big cliffy, leaving you BEGGING for more

A fun, quick shifter academy romance with a She's the Man twist, following Riley as she infiltrates an all male shifter school disguised as a boy to track down her missing sister. Riley makes for an easy, sassy heroine to root for, and the mix of why choose romance, mafia intrigue, magic, and hidden identity gives the plot plenty of entertaining momentum. The humor lands well throughout, and while the alpha love interests aren't given a ton of depth yet, standout personalities like Tobias give the group some real charm. The premise leans on familiar academy romance tropes, and the male leads could use more development to round them out further, but the pacing keeps things engaging and easy to fly through. It ends on a solid cliffhanger that leaves you curious about book two. A light, entertaining read for fans of why choose paranormal romance looking for something fun and low stakes.

Riley is a badass FMC and I am here for it! I expected this book to be good, but it was GREAT.

The MMCs are a blast to follow: Tobias, Tank, and Hunter were compelling, and even though Tate didn’t fully click for me yet, I can see myself warming up to him in the next book. I’ll admit it took me a minute to sort out all the T‑names before I got attached enough to differentiate them, but once I did, each character stood out clearly.

The worldbuilding leans into a morally gray atmosphere where consent is a complicated concept for both male and female shifters. It’s dark in a way that adds weight to Riley’s journey and her fight to stay hidden while searching for her sister.

By the end, I was fully invested — enough that I’m already begging for the ARC of book two… actually, make it the whole series. I NEED to know what happens next!

Riley's a human-wolf hybrid who goes undercover at an all boys shifter academy (glamored by a witch to appear male) to find out what happened to her missing sister. She's strong and sassy but doesn't think she's worthy of the full-blooded alpha mates around her. She genuinely thinks her own inner wolf is being delusional about them, and that gave her a little more depth than the usual confident FMC.

She hasn't fully fallen for the MMCs yet, as she's still able to walk away, but the mate pull is clearly hard for her to resist. The MMCs are just as thrown, confused by how drawn they are to who they think is a male hybrid shifter. It still reads a little insta-lovey with how fast that pull hits, and I wish there was more enemies to lovers or yearning stretched out first.

Overall, it’s still a quick fun read. Thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC!

3.75 ⭐️/1.5 🌶️—Girl dressing as a boy is one of my favorite tropes, so I was excited to read this ARC. The strength of the story is its characters. They’re likable and have personalities different enough to be interesting. The plot is perhaps not as rounded out, but the action is enough that the weaker elements of the world building aren’t too disappointing. There was one thing that annoyed me, however. There is a focus on the “shifter mafia” and the reference and lack of information on what this means was frustrating. Are there rival shifter gangs? Is it like the mob? Is it one huge syndicate? I would have loved more details since this seems to be important to the plot and, as it is, it’s too nonspecific for me to feel substantially invested. A quick and fun read!

Our FMC Riley infiltrates a shifter boys' school disguised as a boy and gets many Alphas confused and frustrated about their own sexual orientation. In this why choose paranormal romance series in an academy setting, the main plot is to find out where Riley's sister has disappeared to.

Although the plot and setting are already familiar, I enjoyed the humor of the book and Riley's character very much 3.5 ⭐️. The Alpha characters were not developed very deeply yet, so the most humorous of them, Tobias, is my current favorite. If you like light Why choose books, I recommend reading Wolf unseen!

I really enjoyed this book. Even though some of the tropes and general plots have been done before, I was invested in the story and characters. I liked that although the world saw Riley as weak, she could still hold her own. The MMCs were all distinct and easily distinguishable. I loved Tobias and Tank and I just know they'll continue being my favorites. I wish there was more movement with the overall plot, but I understand that this is only the first book in the series and it did leave me wanting to read the next book asap. I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes and to see the relationships develop!

Wolf Unseen is a why choose shifter romance that feels so much like the movie, She's the Man. It's fun, it's slightly ridiculous, but I could not put this down. Nearly all of the males who are to be her romantic interests have T names which made it kind of confusing for me to keep track of who exactly Tate, Tank, and Tobias were. I get that this was necessary for plot things, to move the mystery of the man with her missing sister, but it definitely made for a confusing read at times. I wish the ending gave us more answers. I feel like this book focused so much on the romance (which I loved), but it felt like the search for her sister kind of fell off at the end. Still a very fun read! Thanks Netgalley for the e-ARC!

If you are a fan of the movie She’s the Man this book is for you! I loved the premise for this book and I just had to read it! I loved the character Riley and all that she stands for. I really liked all of the main male characters except Tobias just cause sometimes he gave me cringe factors with what he says but as the book went on it became less so. I can’t wait to see what happens in book 2 as this book ends off on a cliffhanger. I would highly recommend this book as a it is a quick fun read! I haven’t read anything like this before and I am so glad I read it. I will definitely be looking into this author to read there other series!

This ended up being better than I was anticipating. I genuinely enjoyed the story and like that the FMC didn't just get 'sucked' into a mate mindset once they appeared.

I wish there was more background on the type of world they live in, as the first bit did make me feel a bit thrown in to things.

Quick fun read that gives you just enough fantasy that still makes it realistic while in a modern world.

Can't wait for the next one and seeing the others reactions to her secret ;).

Riley is absolutely adorable. I can't wait to see the way things unfold in this series. I love Tank and his wolf. His wolf is precious with Riley. Hunter, Tobias, and Tate are great too, I really enjoy all of the banter in their own minds, and Rileys snarky lil mouth when she's whooping some jerk shifter butt. I enjoyed the side characters as well. Great characters, great world building too.

I enjoyed this book, and the why choose trope is great.
The mix of why choose, shifter, mafia, magic and hidden identity was good.

The FMC had great character and sass that I enjoyed. The writing style was good and kept me engaged and reading onwards.
