So this time around, we've got a different batch of characters for Rudy to interact with. He's now living in a big mansion in a big city tutoring a bratty girl who is older than he is.
That pretty much sums it up. I'll be interested to see how things go in the next volume.

J’aime vraiment beaucoup cette saga. Après avoir lu toutes les aventures de Roxy sortie et le premier tome de la saga original, j’enchaine. L’histoire est toujours aussi prenante et captivante, ce manga se lit vraiment tout seul.
Rudeus, avant d’être l’enfant qu’il est, dans le monde de Mushoku Tensei, était un adulte de 34 ans, qui n’avait rien fait de particulier de sa vie, surtout par fainéantise. Sauf qu’un camion l’a renversé. Il est mort, mais pas vraiment, car il renaît, dans un nouveau monde, cette fois il ne laisse pas passer sa chance.
Nous l’avons vu dans le dernier tome, Rudeus s’est mis à apprendre tout ce qu’il pouvait dès son plus jeune âge. Ainsi, cela fait de lui un enfant très talentueux. Or, il s’est fait une nouvelle amie, une nymphette. Ses parents comme ceux de la nymphette trouvent qu’ils passent trop de temps ensemble et qu’il serait profitable pour le bien des deux de les séparer pendant cinq ans.
C’est ainsi que Rudeus est envoyé chez son grand-oncle. Ici, il pourra parfaire ses techniques en escrimes, mais pas sans contrepartie évidemment. Il devra donner des cours de magie, à un enfant plus âgé que lui. Elle a dix ans et elle Eris. Malgré son noble statut, elle a un caractère de chien. Un peu trop même. Ça ne va pas être facile pour notre jeune Rudeus de lui donner des cours…
L’histoire était vraiment prenante, tout comme le premier tome. Ce manga, comme je l’ai dit plus haut, se lit tout seul. Les pages défilent sans qu’on ne s’en rende compte. J’apprécie de découvrir les aventures du petit Rudeus.
En bref, ce manga me plaît vraiment beaucoup, il n’a plus rien à me prouver pour le moment. J’ai vraiment hâte de découvrir les prochains tomes, de voir où notre Rudeus va nous emmener. Un manga pleins d’actions, d’émotions et de rebondissements !

January 22, 2024Rudeus wird in die Festungsstaft Roa geschickt, um dort beim Fürsten Boreas zu leben. Er soll die 9 jährige Fürstentochter Eris unterrichten, doch die ist ein richtiger mürrischer Wildfang und auch ein kleines verwöhntes Gör. Doch Rubeus hat so seine Ideen und wird sie schon zähmen.
Die Story und der Zeichenstil gefallen mir weiterhin richtig gut. Rubeus mit seinen Erinnerungen aus unserer Welt und seinen Bemühungen es in dieser Fantasywelt (auch wenn er noch in einer Kindergestalt ist) besser zu machen, finde ich einfach klasse. Das bietet so viel Potenzial und ich bin gespannt was da noch alles kommt.
Was mich allerdings stört sind die sexuellen Anspielungen. Vor allem wenn es um Eris geht. Das ist alles so crinch, dass ich dann schnell weiterblätter. Da wäre ich wirklich glücklicher wenn das draußen gelassen würde.

En esté tomo veremos a Rudi separarse de su familia y de Sylphie, para que se quite esa dependencia de cuidar a su amiga. Por ello es que lo mandan a ocupar un puesto de profesor de magia, para enseñar a Eris.
Sin embargo, no contaba con que la señorita fuera una total fiera que ahuyenta a cualquier persona que se le acerque. Por lo que representará un reto complicado que Rudi está dispuesto a aceptar.
Así que idea un plan para secuestrar a Eris y que de esa manera logré ver qué necesita de Rudi y así poder entablar una relación de profesor y alumna. No obstante, jamás se le pasaría por la cabeza, que en realidad alguien estaba dispuesto a secuestrar a la señorita y Rudi deba enfrentarse una vez más al peligro.
¿Logrará que la chica lo acepte y se convierta en profesor?

Things are moving along fast. Being a genius 7-year-old, already going off to tutor a 10-year-old girl is unusual in its own right, but I'm all down for it. Rudy sure is crafty, good-hearted, and lecherous, even so. There really hasn't been any real opportunity to grow as a person, but he's getting there. Slowly.
This manga sure does mess with our expectations in a good way, pivoting in wildly different directions than I would have expected from others like it.
While I DO like this volume, to me it just feels like a setup for so much more. And having already watched the anime, I know I'm right.

Autant j'adore l'histoire et les personnages, autant j'ai du mal avec le "fan service". Les gros nichons et les petites culottes ce n'est clairement pas mon truc et le côté obsédé de Rudy, adulte de 34 ans, dans le corps d'un enfant de 7 ans, me dérange ! Mais heureusement, il n'y a pas que ça dans ce manga, raison pour laquelle je pense poursuivre. J'aime beaucoup le côté apprentissage du jeune héros et le fait que l'adulte qu'il a été sache tirer des leçons de son passé pour avancer dans ce nouveau monde.

For a series that I enjoyed the first volume for, I was still very much on the fence. Now after reading this volume I'm glad that I picked it up as this series does what no other Isekai does, which is keeping me guessing. No way would I have expected the kid to get sent away to live in a mansion and become a tutor to someone twice his age, usually it's about defeating the demon king and forming a party.
This has none of that, even the kid who's typically overpowered gets to find out he's not all that. Whilst he's overpowered in comparison to his peers, the adults play by different rules and easily outclass him.

Mhhh...parecchie cose diverse dall'anime ho notato, a partire dal rapimento, che non mi pare fosse in un'altra città e sopratutto si svolgeva di notte.
Anche il nonno mi pare parecchio diverso esteticamente...
Comunque a parte questo, Eris non smetterò mai di odiarti a morte...piccola maledetta.

This one was better than the 1st volume. Seems kind of pointless though that Rudy went through all of that to keep his "family" together, only to be sent away for the next 5 years. And why can't he send his parents letters.....? 5 years without my kid and zero contact?! Sheesh, that seems insane.

Autant le premier tome ne m'avait pas emballée à 100%, autant ce deuxième tome, oui ! La série promet d'être vraiment cool et sympa, une nouvelle série à suivre donc !

This volume was better than volume 1, but not enough to earn an extra star. I'm still unimpressed by the art.

I ranted about volume 1 and said I wouldn't continue.... Well curiousity got the better of me and like I stated in my rant I always give a series more than 1 volume to figure out if it is for me or not. While I will admit that vol. 2 is better at certain parts than volume 1 story/plotwise, I will stand by my rant. This series is not for me. I still like the artwork and what you have seen of the world in those 2 volumes when it's not related to icky moments or weird fanservice, but the icky feelings and whatnot I ranted about in my vol. 1 review still haunts me and it continues to haunt me in this volume as well. And note I'm usually quite good at ignoring most fanservice and questionable choices if the story is worth it. I don't personally feel this is one of those cases.

I continue to be impressed by this series. The story picks up right where it left off and the setting is almost instantly expanded upon. Rudy continues to grow but this time more as a person rather than just his adventuring skills. There is a scene when Eris gets attacked by would be kidnappers. It's not too bad but when you consider that she's 9 at the time it does seem overboard. I'm still enjoying the series and I can't wait to see how things continue to progress.

Just when Rudeus was getting closer to his friend he is thrust into a new situation with a fiery red head.
At first i wasn't too sure about the change in the series as certain characters i really like are going to be less prominent but the new introductions are interesting and also look to add something very different to the series. I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues to develop.

So, drastic change to the setting and characters, and very little happens. But it's interesting nonetheless. And seeing how now the appearance of the 3rd girl of the series, I really hope that it's not a harem and he actually picks a girl.
