Heya! I'm Joe Satoria, I write sweet and spicy MM romances.
I mostly write Daddies and D/s dynamics in my pairings... some soft and sweet, other dark and dangerous.
As a queer person using he/they pronouns, I am an own voices author, which means you're reading through the eyes of lived experience... only the gay relationships part, definitely not the dangerous Daddies... oops!
This is the first book in the new series The Playhouse. The Playhouse is a BDSM club that caters to those who like rules, control, and surrender. This is the story of Maxwell Grant and Benji Ford. Maxwell , a Daddy, is financially secure and would like to find a Little of his own. But he wants someone who actually wants him for himself and not his bank account. Benji is a Little and a paralegal with dreams to become a lawyer. The two meet at The Playhouse and spend an amazing evening together. Not wanting it to end, Max gives Benji his card with his number on it. Benji wanted to contact Max again but he has lost his card. He doesn't know how to reach him. Good thing Max isn't about to sit around and wait for his Little to call. This is their story. I received a complementary advanced review copy of this book from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. The book is written well and is easy to read. It is a sweet and fun story with no angst. As it is a novella, you can enjoy the book in one sitting without any difficulty. I enjoyed this book. I look forward to more by this author.
This is a short story about 2 men who meet at The Playhouse, a BDSM club. Max is a rich Daddy and Benji is a Little and a paralegal with dreams to become a lawyer. They have a night together and it is more then either could have hoped for. Max gives Benji his card with his number but he doesn’t hear from him; Max is going crazy because he cannot stop thinking about Benji and seeing him again. By chance Max finds out where Benji works and waits for him and they meet again; Benji lost Max’s card and had no way of calling him. They realize they both want to see each other again and so they begin dating. This seems to be a HFN. Story 3.5, Spice 3.5
I struggled to connect with Max. His level of rigidity along with his single minded braggart thought process was not endearing.
Benji was a lot more personable and had my loyalty from the beginning. Due to the length of the book, not a lot of personal growth but good for what it was. The end did show that they can play off eachothers needs and balance the other.
Overall this book was good for it's length. Short , sweet, low angst. DomDaddy and submissive little.
Benji and Max story was a short, intense adventure with a side of brief heartache thanks to a mishap that created misunderstandings. I liked their chemistry and dynamics, as well as the way their relationship progressed. They were cute and adorable together and I liked how they found their happiness.
This is a short sweet story about a Little, Benji finding his very own Daddy Max when he wasn't even looking. Benji is fiercely independent and Max fosters that but also wants to reward him with anything he wants, captivated by the precious Little. They make the cutest couple and I enjoyed this steamy shortie. I received a copy of this and this is my voluntary opinion.
Wasn't written well at all. I know it's very short novella basically, so I wasn't expecting an in-depth story line or anything, but come on. It was super childish and had zero substance.
