Savannah Saint is having a terrible week.

First, she gets cursed by the weird girl everyone avoids on campus. Then the sky splits open and demons start crawling out of it.

And somehow, the hottest man she’s ever seen still has the audacity to act like she’s the problem.

Riot Mercer—the bassist of The Velvet Massacre—is tattooed, foul-mouthed, completely inhuman, and unfortunately the only thing standing between Savannah and the apocalypse swallowing Iowa whole.

Which would be easier to deal with if he didn’t look so good covered in blood, and Hell itself didn’t seem personally interested in her.

Now Savannah’s trapped between monsters, the end of the world, and the world’s most hostile sexual tension...

All while trying not to die in the most embarrassing state in America.

About the author

G.M. Draevyn

4 books12 followers
G.M. Draevyn is an upcoming indie author carving out a name in the world of dark romance and suspenseful thrillers. With a sharp, haunting voice and a flair for weaving love and obsession into something both beautiful and unsettling, Draevyn's stories pull readers deep into the shadows of desire, trauma, and survival.

Her debut novel, Where The Iris Withered, is the first in the Roots of Obsession series. A dark, emotionally charged journey that blurs the line between passion and peril. Exploring inherited trauma, the lure of dangerous devotion, and the kind of love that destroys as much as it saves, Draevyn delivers a fresh, unflinching take on the dark romance thriller genre.

Recently, she just published the second book in the Roots of Obsession series, What The Reed Hid.

Readers looking for grit, intensity, and a story that lingers long after the last page will find themselves consumed by Draevyn's world--and hungry for more.

G.M. Draevyn, 30, resides in the Midwest and draws inspiration from her background working in correctional settings, where proximity to danger sharpened her fascination with the darker sides of human nature. By day she keeps the mail flowing, but her true obsession lies in storytelling. Crafting unsettling, emotional narratives that blur the line between love and ruin.

Her constant companion is Arthur, a two-year-old Cairn Terrier/Lhasa Apso who appears in her debut novel Where The Iris Withered as a familiar friend named "Toad." More than a pet, Arthur is her anchor and the reason she kept fighting when life grew heavy.

When she isn't writing, Draevyn finds solace in reading, taxonomy art, true crime, horror, and the paranormal. Her shelves hold favorites like H.D. Carlton's Does It Hurt, while she names Nick Roberts, author of The Exorcist House, as her top author to date.

I received this arc from the author to read today. I haven't put it down since I received it. Its very fast paced, full of adventure, and sometimes a little scary. Its all in what you like. Once I started reading the characters pulled me right into their world. Didnt really like Savannah at first but she redeems herself the further you read and you understand things. I loved the boys though, Riot is my favorite. So even though this book is about the end of the world, its definitely a great 5 star read to me. Definitely recommend.

OMG YES!!! First off thank you G.M Draevyn so much for the Opportunity to advance read this book. I was so blown away with this book it was not even funny.
The End of the World Tour was an absolutely amazing book. I have to point out the authors amazing song choices for the book. Each chapter had a song and they all fit perfectly.

Let me tell you when I started reading this book I did not think it would go the way it did. When I tell you the author knocked me for a loop in such a good way baby I am in love with this book. I didn't in a long shot see The velvet Massacre boys being cryptids or demons whatever you wanna say. Vince, Riot, Sebastian (aka Bash), and Jude were just amazing character as well as our girl Savannah. I deep dived in this book so fast that I could not put it down no matter what I did.

In the beginning we meet Savannah the FMC and at first i really wasn't feeling her she had mean girl vibes. She just wasn't a nice person. Her friends Brielle and Cassidee all decided to go to a concert by The Velvet Massacre. Little did they know this would be life turning an hell raising literally.
Morgan Ward the town outcast made things happen that night that no one expected.

The banter between the guys and savannah was legendary to say the least. The ending was phenomenal. I loved that Morgan and chad go what was coming to them. I love the Hellhounds and Behemoths. I really loved that even though 2 of my favorite characters died returned even at a price.
I am excited to read more from the author.

P.S. A demon Flamingo really LOL And a haunted Rotisserie chicken lol i about lost it. Still need to figure out what bash is!!

Witty banter? ✔️
Burn the world for him/her? ✔️
Remarks to make you laugh out loud while reading? ✔️

I loved the remarks made between Savannah and the rest of the band! I did feel the story could've been a little longer to help make me fall more in love with different characters in the book, but boy, do I want a best friend like Jude! The love between Riot and Savannah didn't have long to develop, so I would've liked to read more about them on their adventure to close hell, but it didn't stop me from enjoying the story!
The comments towards Sebastian in the beginning? 😭🤣 I was dying! I honestly was skeptical at the beginning of the book because of Savannahs mean girl attitude, but she grew on me throughout the book and I thoroughly enjoyed her by the end of the book! You won't regret giving this book a chance!

I had so much fun reading TEOTWT. I hope I can convey how excited I am about this book. Where do I start? The amount of banter I highlighted maybe? You have no idea.
Honestly, GM Draevyn had me at the tone in the blurb (yes, the rest of the book is like this!). Add to this some GnR (IYKYK), hellhounds, evil flamingos, murder deers and wendigo men. I mean… it doesn’t get any better.
Are you lost? Don’t worry, this is just me making it weird, in the book, it all makes sense.
Favorite quote:
«It’s honestly impressive that you don’t know when to shut the fuck up. »
Favorite romantic moment:
«If we survive this, » he mutters, eyes locked on me, «I’ll try really hard to become emotionally available for you. »

I got this book as an ARC and it was sooo good. I have been reading it whenever I could; at work, on brake, before bed, while cooking.. It was hard to put down!
This might be my first book with this kind of theme, as I have felt more drawn to other types of genres. But this opened my eyes. It is funny, dark and soo cute. I have been thinking about this from the moment I started it and to the point I finished it (just now), and I think this will stick with me for a while.
I don't know how many times I caught myself smiling while reading, but it was a lot.
This was a good one!
And Riot... Oof.

Ok I really didnt expect to like this book as much as I did. Savannah felt like the typical popular girl who you just cant stand because of how self centered they can be. And to be honest I really didnt like her in the beginning, but as the story progressed I came to understand and love her character and her development! But let's not forget the boys, they were H.O.T.! But Jude has my heart ❤️ as hot as Riot, Sebastian, and Vince were Jude just stole the show with his side comments and overall goofiness. My only complaint is that the book wasnt longer!

I received this book as an advance readers copy.
The world is ending and the center of hell is in Ohio. Riot,Jude Vince,Sebastian, and Savannah have to survive the end of the world in a tour bus. The velvet massacre is ready to rock your socks off and maybe accidentally cause the world to end. Savannah is a mean girl reformed by an 80’s heavy metal rock band. Sometimes you even need to sell your soul for a record deal of a lifetime. This book is fast paced touch her and die with a good amazing of banter especially the demonic peacock and Savannah.

I was so excited when I saw this book in my emails for an ARC read, I read it in a matter of hours and I was not disappointed!
Savannah our mmc is honestly a bitch but I loved her so much

The story was quite fast paced, there wasn’t any build up it jumped straight in, there was a lot of funny banter between the characters and was just a great read all round.

Thank you for letting me be an ARC reader, I thoroughly enjoyed it

As an ARC reader for this book, I went in knowing what little was advertised on social media, needless to say, it exceeded my expectations! I loved the dynamic between the Boys and Savannah. 10/10 will be reading again!
