I was fortunate enough to receive an ARC of this book from the author which was awesome so thank you Robert!!

This book was great just like the previous ones. If you haven't read them go and buy them. They are a great read.

Coco continues to be kind of crazy, funny , and lovable. This time she is pregnant at 44 years old so she is more emotional especially with Regina Battenberg taking her spotlight again. I loved Adam. He was very patient with Coco and very supportive.

Overall I just really enjoyed this book. I loved getting to read more about Coco, her friends and her in laws, like Crazy Ethel who I hated in book one but I love now.

I'm sad this series is over and I look forward to more great books from Robert Bryndza.

This is the 3rd book in the Coco Pinchard series by author Robert Bryndza.

Author Robert Bryndza started off writing this comedy series before moving on to crime novels with the successful Detective Erika Foster and Kate Marshal series which I love. He shows how talented he really is because whether writing comedy or crime they all make very entertaining reads. Coco Pinchard is a very colourful character as you might expect going by the name. These books can be read as standalones.

Coco Pinchard is now a best selling author and enjoying life as a newly wed for the second time following her messy divorce. Unfortunately life is not going too smoothly for the other members of her family, new husband Adam has lost his job, Coco’s grown-up son, Rosencrantz is having a melt down and ex-mother-in-law Ethel keeps letting herself into the house thanks to an endless supply of spare keys. With Coco wondering could things get any worse she discovers she’s pregnant; at 44.

Pregnancy is never going to be easy for such a character as Coco and so much has changed since her last time twenty years ago. Can Coco manage with all the changes a new baby will bring, sleepless nights, changing nappies and heaven forbid stretch marks.

The third stand-alone book in Robert Bryndza’s bestselling Coco Pinchard series is a fun read as we follow her hormonal changes during her second pregnancy.

A good fun light read.

A fun read! Once more, Coco Pinchard's life is in retrograde. She's pregnant at 44, her husband is still unemployed, her son is in deep doo doo, her agent seems to have abandoned her, her ex-laws keep on invading her privacy. On the plus side, her dog, Rocco, seems to have it together.
There are times when I want to shake Coco & her surrounding messed-up co-dysfunctionaries but then I realize that they're all normal abnormal, just like me.
The author hooks you in with the humor and humanity of all and I had trouble putting the book down. So I finished it in two days and had a blast doing so.

I am a huge fan of the Coco Pinchard series so was very much looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Even though I am slightly younger than Coco, it very much feels like she has grown up in this novel. The fact that she is pregnant with her second child is probably something to do with it. The whole story actually made me feel like a mother sending her child out into the world, it certainly felt more emotional than the others.

The author yet again delivers a novel packed full on fun and laughter. I especially liked how the author makes light of being a writer. Obviously a lot of sweat and tears goes into writing a novel and then when it is published there’s that fear of rejection from readers. I actually felt quite bad at laughing at some of Coco’s misfortunes in her aim to become a best selling author. It certainly was fun taking the more light heart-ed route even though you could fully see the emotions that a real life author would go through.

Being pregnant makes Coco re evaluate where she is. Being an older mum to be is not easy and then having her twenty three year old son go off the rails really takes it’s toll on Coco. Even though she has the hunk of a husband Adam, with his new job working in a bar, he isn’t around as much as she would like him to be which causes added tension. One thing that Coco does have though is the most annoying yet lovable ex mother in law, as well as some really great friends.

The Consequences of Love and Sex is exactly that. It is very much a light heart-ed look at different types of relationships as well as an unexpected pregnancy. Due to the nature of some of the threads involved in the novel it had me feeling a lot more emotional than I had expected. At one point I was nearly in floods of tears only for the author to put in a quick twist that had me wanting to hug and kiss him as I knew he couldn’t be that cruel to his fans, though the hug and kiss would be after slapping him first!

An absolutely fabulous read that I can’t recommend highly enough.

Having received a copy from the author I dove right into this treasure. You need to have read the others in the series to grasp a full history of Coco and Adam with their motley crew of friends and family, exes included.

Immediately we start off after the honeymoon and Coco' s pregnant. I truly love how her pregnancy experience is spot on, bravo to a male author for taking on that challenge. Lots happening with this book, babies, moves, different jobs and serious addiction issues. The humorous writings don't make light of any situation just makes it real and honest. Sad this is the last of Coco.

I really can't remember the last time I laughed out loud several times while reading a book. Hilarious! My favourite bit was the mix-up between the quote for Coco's humorous book cover and the quote for a stark, holocaust memoir.

This book is about 44 year old Coco who suddenly finds herself pregnant. She has to deal with a grown up son, an unemployed new husband, a nosy ex-mother-in-law and an assortment of other odd, quirky characters. The story spans the whole of her pregnancy. The humour is very British and very funny. I will definitely get my hands on the other books in the series.

I've got to hand it to Adam in this one for putting up with CoCo's mood for 9 months!! There were so many times throughout that I wanted to tell her to get over herself!! Maybe it's because I have four kids of my own..It's not all about you anymore!!!

Aside from her persistent bitchyness, the storyline was great. Again, it was not fluff. It reached into deeper and darker places. Relationships struggle to remain strong and family & friendship bonds are tested. A much beloved character falls into a really dark place and that was very upsetting to watch it evolve through the pages.

I've got to say, the indestructible Ethel, and her never ending supply of keys, has been my favorite throughout the series!!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for review. This did not affect my opinion in any way.

Coco is back and as funny as ever! I found myself laughing aloud several times which is rare for me with books. The characters in this series are so well written and likable that I've grown attached to them and am sad to see this come to an end. I will be looking forward to more from Mr. Bryndza. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed this book! From beginning to end this book did not disappoint. All the characters are very likeable. I was surprised that I ended up liking Daniel.

I laughed throughout the whole book although my favorite part is when Daniel visits Coco in the hospital. I am sad to see this series come to an end. Can't wait to see what Robert comes up with next.

A stonkingly superb book!!!!!

Wow, what can I say! I 'discovered' this author when his first book (The Not So Secret Emails Of Coco Pinchard) was in the Amazon top 100 Free Bestsellers-and I loved it. I bought the sequel before I had even finished the first one as I just KNEW that here was a great new author. His second book I loved even more!. It had a satisfying conclusion so, although I wanted to read more, I kind of hoped that Robert Bryndza wouldn't 'milk it' and for any further books not be as good-BUT-he just gets better! This is an AMAZING book, it has everything. I love the fab cover, it grabs you straightaway. The other Coco Pinchard books were mostly told through emails, I love that this is structured as a diary, I love diary format. It was quick and easy to get into and there were funnies already, even in the first pages, so many comical remarks and scenarios, I knew this was going to be great, just like his other books. At the start of this instalment, Coco and Adam are newly married. This is so well observed, for instance, I don't like the coconut chocs in selections either-does anyone ever like those? This is the sort of thing that happens that you don't really think about and it takes skilfull writers and comedians to pick out those little observations. This sort of detail all makes it so good and so 'real' even though it's a fiction book, the setting is spot on. It was still relatively early on in the book and I was constantly cracking up with laughing, there were so many funny bits. That winning formula is certainly here again! So many funny remarks. There's not just the fun element; there are deeper issues, problems, arguments etc. Like in any normal relationship/family relationships. How lovely to see the character of Ethel again-it's so funny how Coco's ex mother in law still has a key to her house and just drops in as and when-despite being told not to! As well as the mild moments, there were points where I was saying "No, no, don't do it!!!!" and shouting at the book! It was real edge of your seat stuff, suspense, will she, won't she? This was a FAB read! Just as the fun scenes happen, again, a more potentially serious or troublesome scenario pops up, so this book has plenty of variety, not just humour. It has real life situations too. It's so funny, unexpected and unusual, not predictable at all. So varied, so much in it. Not just a light comedy read, there are more serious and unexpected circumstances. A good balance, a great varied read. When I was nearing the end, even then this book was still surprising me with even more unexpected events. This has been a stonkingly superb book! It's really excellent, I can do nothing but rave about it. It builds up really well, I just couldn't put it down at all in the final 30%, lots of great stuff in here! I hope there are even more in this series-I also loved his Christmas Novella in the same series and I already have his next stand-alone book waiting on my kindle too!

'Coco Pinchard, The Consequences Of Love And Sex' is the third book in the Coco Pinchard series, but funnily, it's the first one I've read. However, after reading this book, I'm definitely going to bump up the other two parts to the top of my TBR pile.

Coco is a wonderful character, she's 44, recently married (for the second time) & is a successful writer. Or at least she tries to be. We all know publishing is not easy, so a good part of this book is focused on all the things an author goes through to publish and market their book. Add loads of humor to it, and you'll see what Coco Pinchard #3 is about. However, that's not all. This book is written in the form of Coco's diary entries and you can see how things develop and all the stuff Coco goes trough in her life in just a year.

Coco is the coolest mother ever, her twenty-something son is homosexual and she's so supportive of him. She loves him for who he is and doesn't give a damn what others say. She's not the type that wants to please everyone, there's her husband Adam and her son she'd do anything for, but also there are few more characters who appear in this book (like her ex mother-in-law) who just add to the story and make this book even more hilarious.

This is definitely a nice feel good read, perfect for fans of humorous books and those heading for the beach. It's the only book I've read while on holidays (don't ask, I was around two small kids who were trying to strangle each other every free sec they got) and I can say it's the perfect beach read. I laughed out loud on couple of occasions and even managed to get the odd stare from those around me, thinking I must be loco or something.

Overall, this was a great, easy, summery read and I strongly advise you to check it out. It's light, easy to follow, with fresh humor that will make you pick up Robert's other books. I'm kind of sad there won't be any other books in the series, because Coco is one of these epic rom com characters that will never cease to be funny or interesting. Who knows, Robert might change his mind and write more parts of it in the future...I sure hope.

Robert Bryndza has done it again with another fabulous chronicle in the life of the wonderfully vivid Coco Pinchard. And I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy from the author so I could share just how much I loved it with all of you!

Settling down to a life of marital bliss with her hunky husband, Adam, was never going to be straight forward, not for our beloved Coco. With Adam's expunged criminal past still stalking him and Coco's crazy ex-in-laws refusing to get out of the picture, not to mention witch Regina Battenberg trying to steal her thunder, and her agent, Coco's getting herself all worked up. And then, after one single moment of unprotected lust ... oh my ... Coco is pregnant.

With a classic, yet unique style, Robert Bryndza is a modern day fictional comedy genius. The passion and skill he invests into his stories about Coco Pinchard never fails to shine through. The world of Coco Pinchard is as funny as it is endearing. In this, the rumoured-to-be final Coco Pinchard novel, we meet up with all our favourite characters from the previous books, and get to witness Coco take the first tentative steps on the next chapter of her life. Coco Pinchard, The Consequences of Love and Sex, is without a doubt Robert Bryndza's masterpiece and my favourite of all his writings, so far.

Before you read this book do try and read the first two and the Christmas novella, if you can get your hands on it:

Book 1 - The Not So Secret Emails of Coco Pinchard
Book 2 - Coco Pinchard's Big Fat Tipsy Wedding
Book 3 - A Very Coco Christmas (seasonal prequel novella)

Now as you know I always use the Goodread blurb in order to avoid spoilers but I actually think this blurb sells this author short this time. As well as the wit and humour I have come to expect in this series, he also tackles some very serious and dark subjects but manages to do so in a way which in no way detracts from the laughter, rather it provides a poignant counterbalance. I confess one semi spoiler in that part way through the book I thought I was going to fall out with the series over the death of one of my favourite characters, and yes I know we all have to kill people off sometimes but I hope should this one ever really meet her demise she will go with spectacular style.

The blurb says this is the final books but I do know there is a recently released prequel A Very Coco Christmas: A Coco Pinchard Christmas novella and I really do hope he will continue this series as it is set up for lots more adventures. It is a fine line deciding when a series is done but this one certainly is not, I would love at least another book or two now and then if the author feels they need to break away from Coco maybe a book every five or ten years to catch up with these amazing characters.

So scores on the doors, well of course it has to be the same as the others, if anything I give this 5 out of 5 plus a bonus cupcake for keeping such a high standard throughout the series.

Coco is back!

Coco's life is going great. She is fabulous at forty four and living happily ever in newlywed bliss with hunky hubby Adam. Her second book, Agent Fergie is being published in a few months and they have moved back in to her oh so loved family home... And then she finds out she is pregnant!!!

The third instalment into the fabulous life of Coco is just as great as the first two. Follow Coco and Adam on their latest adventure through life. All the crew is back - rosencranz, loved up Marika, lord of the manor Chris, ex hubby Daniel, ex sister in law Meryl and the much loved ex mother in law Ethel.... Each character brings something special to the story. It wouldn't be the same without them.

You will be laughing, crying and speed reading your way through this book. I loved every page if it. It's sad to think this could be the last we hear of Coco so I will live in hope.

Another fabulous book from Team Bryndza!!!! I'm a huge fan of your work and can't wait to read more. Keep up the great work boys.

This book absolutely topped off the Coco trilogy perfectly.

She doesn't have it easy, what with Adam losing his job, Rosencrantz going through stuff and having to deal with Angie and Regina, but through it Coco has her reliable family of eccentric brilliant people to keep her grounded. She has the most loving husband Adam, the brutally honest yet hilarious Ethel, and the best best friends a girl could ask for Chris and Marika.

Robert Bryndza is one of those amazing authors you come across by accident but writes books that make you laugh, cry and write human books.

Oh man, I'm going to miss Coco. I laughed a whole lot. Cried a bit. Was devastated at one point and gasped in disbelief, my thoughts zooming to surely it's a mistake! When a book can get me that emotionally involved in the characters, it's a total win. Even the ones that are a pain...quite a feat. I applaud the author's gift of story telling.

Overall these are delightful books and worth the time.

The talent of this author is astonishing. Producing books of the calibre of the DCI Erika Foster series, and now the Coco Pinchard series. Coco is comic genius, and like chalk and cheese to Erika Foster, yet both are brilliant reads. Coco is an awesome character. So wittily written, with relationships that are so real that you feel you've stepped into their world each time to begin a new read.

I'm really disappointed that Kobo Books have such a limited supply of Coco Pinchard titles. Hope this changes in the near future....

Rob Bryndza as done it again!
Coco is back in true coco style and I loved it. She is as witty, sarcastic, funny and well just as coco as ever.

At the end of Coco Pinchard's Big fat tipsy wedding we finally thought Coco was going to ride off into the happily ever after, but this is Coco and life never goes smoothly this book proves that

This book has it all pregnancy, drugs, alcohol, unemployment and annoying ex in laws there is never a dull moment.

One thing I really loved is how spot on Rob was about pregnancy, I have two children my youngest is only 7 months old so I have recently gone through pregnancy and labour myself and I was pleasantly surprised how much Rob knew, I am certain nearly everything he wrote about happened to me at some point during one of my pregnancy, he was incredibly accurate about labour too I admire this even more for a man to write such accurate account of what us women go through, although I was lucky enough to have both my baby's like take a break. Wanna no what that means? then go read the book.

I loved that Ethel was back with her endless supply of door keys, she is one of my favourite characters throughout the whole series

I can't rate this book highly enough and could carry on telling you all how amazing this book is but I don't think I could do it justice, the best way to find out how brilliant this book is, is to read it yourselves, you want regret it. I laughed so heard I cried. I cried but then moments later I would be laughing again.

Rob is an extraordinary writer who blends comedy and drama so effortlessly, whether he carries on the Coco series or moves on with new story's and characters I know I will be following his work, he as never failed to disappoint.

Like many reviewers on here, when I was offered the chance of an ARC copy of this book I did not hesitate. This is the third (and possibly last, boo hoo) instalment of the Coco series, and I fairly romped through this book, in firs of giggles throughout.
We pick up with Coco and the hunky Adam happily married (at last) and living in Coco's London home. However life throws them a curve ball when she finds herself pregnant at the age of 44 and then finds out her son needs to go into rehab!
The way the experience of pregnancy is written about is very accurate and funny and the pregnancy is the perfect foil for all the old characters from the previous books to come together again. All the characters are cleverly written, but I especially loved Ethel!
As others have said, I too hated Ethel in the first book but have grown to love her over the series and was shocked and hilariously thrilled by her experiences in this book. (I won't say anything more about this so as not to spoil it for anyone.)
In summarizing this series I would say the Robert Bryndza had created a fabulous cast of comedy characters and a laugh out loud series of books, I highly recommend them.

The first thing I noticed about this book was it's fabulously colourful cover... and title. It just looks like something you have to read, something highly entertaining. And I wasn't disappointed. The Consequences of Love and Sex is written as Coco's diary. This threw me a bit at first and I wasn't too sure about it, but I forgot all about these doubts after only a few pages. I love how Robert Bryndza really knows his characters and really takes the time to introduce his readers to them. I even forgot The Consequences of Love and Sex is the third book in the Coco Pinchard series. It can definitely be read as a stand-alone novel. I didn't feel once like I missed out on something - although having read, and enjoyed, book 2, I'm definitely planning on reading the first two Coco novels as well.
Robert Bryndza's writing is highly insightful, entertaining and funny with rich, easy-to-relate-to characters you can't help but love.

This is my 1st Coco Pinchard novel and ........ am pretty sure every novel in a chick-lit series should be as fun as the starter novel probably offered !! So , this , the #3 of the well -known series does start off well .... but the quips though generously framing the first half , seem to gradually vanish towards the latter half . The humor is just too scarce and rarefied towards the end and you get the ( now familiar for me ! Sigh ! ) sense of ennui and i am swimming ( more like drowning ) through the " lost within the same pages " emotion that had offered a nice world to escape into just awhile ago !!! The second half is just not worth getting into for it provides no comic relief or a resolution for the heroine's dilemmas whatsoever . I am just closing the book , having this deja vu of a bad breakup : relief that it's finally over but also the fledgling sense of a betrayal in the land of promise !! Sigh ! Think i am goin to lay off experimenting chick lit ..... atleast for now ! Sigh ! Sigh !!

Coco Pinchard is 44 now, beautiful and funny she is married to Adam and she is bestselling author. Its seams as she lives her perfect life. Things are going upside down in the second. Adam has lost his job and considering his past is difficult to finds another job. Coco’s grown up son from first marriage is in spectacular fashion. When her ex mother in low saw Coco in vomit situation she ask her if she pregnant … and yes, she is pregnant at 44.
I like Coco so much and see her as funny, beautiful, successful women in forty. Most enjoyable was to see how she was dealing with pregnancy in forty. Ethel first was so annoying to me but then I like her so much. I laugh and cry till I read. I was very curious cause the author is a man and I was admiring to him, how he was captured Coco and describe her pregnancy and motherhood.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair review.

I loved the first two Coco Pinchard books and the third did not disappoint. I could not put this book down and read it in one day. Coco is such a wonderful character, everything that happens in her life happens with drama, be it funny or sensitive or both! Coco is pregnant in this story and is classed as a 'geriatric mother'. Coco is mortified at this but she handles the situation well or as well as can be expected. I laughed out loud a lot and while reading this book and also had a lump in my throat at other times. Robert Bryndza writes this book (and the others in the series) with humour and sensitivity.

I really hope Robert reconsiders and writes a forth Coco book as I would love to read more about Coco's exploits and I just have to know how her, Adam and Rosencrantz get on with their new venture!

Coco's back, but this time with an unexpected surprise. And as if dealing with an unexpected pregnancy wasn't enough, Coco's friends and family are all still up to their crazy antics. Even so, their loving hi-jinks aren't quite enough to offset a hooker granny tenant, the return of wine-guzzling Regina Battenberg, and a 5-inteview hiring process! I love the descriptions of everyday life in London that Bryndza includes. They're just over-the-top enough to be funny, but never so much as to be unbelievable. Include excellent character development from the quirky spurned ex-sister-in-law to the heart-tugging angst of a floundering son and you'll feel like you've come home for a not-nearly-long-enough visit with family.
