Since early on, she has found writing to be her creative outlet of choice, although she did not complete her first full-length novel until 2009. I am so ready for Angel & Kai's story that I just re-read all of Sam & AJ's stories

For me, this is the quintessential NA series. I love romantic sagas that span years and show the characters grow and mature. If you love the same, then you need this box set in your literary life!
Anthony (AJ) and Samantha (Sam) are the couple! This is the first series I've read where the story stayed with me for days and days after I've finished reading. This couple goes through so much in their young lives, but once they get to the happy, you don't want it to end because their story is a rollercoaster of highs and lows. I like my romance rooted in realism. I like conflict and drama, and this series gives you just enough to satisfy that need without your saying "Enough already"! Click it up!

Started off as a slow moving story (for me) because it starts while these characters are in high school. I don't usually read books that are based in the high school setting but I picked up this series because of my September topic of interracial relationships in books and this book is about a black female and an Asian male (OMG something new!!). This is an omnibus (the complete series) so it is over 1000 pages long which is why it took me so long to read but once I let Samantha and A.J. really get into my head I fell in LOVE with them. There were moments that I wanted to yell at them, cry with them, love them, and cheered for them, Sam and A.J. were wonderfully written and the situations they have to go through are so real. The writing was fantastic and kept me engaged until the end when I wanted MORE!! I can't wait for the spin-off book (hopefully series) about some of the other characters from the series.

This book series is so addicting that I couldn’t put it down! Where do I start? The story begins with Sam, a seventeen-year-old senior in high school who thinks that she has everything figured out. She has been dating Antonio, who is someone that she has been friends with for a while. He’s the kind of guy that every girl goes crazy for. Then, she meets AJ, a hunk who plays basketball. She’s drawn to him but doesn’t know how to handle her feelings. Sam’s choices often times are brow raising, but she does provide a somewhat logical reason for them. Sam, AJ, and Antonio practically jump off the page. Though I have to say that the author has a talent for character development. Everyone has good aspects and some traits that are undesirable. Some characters are evil in nature, while others have a moral compass.
I don’t want to give too much away, so I’m going to be as vague as possible. This book series does follow Sam and AJ into adult hood. Sam will be betrayed, suffer horrible tragedies, and will form both good and bad friendships. There is a triggering scene in book two. That particular scene does contain graphic violence. The author does describe the love scenes beginning in book two. The book series also has an eventual happy ending.
If you enjoy a book series that is filled with passion, laughter, heart break, and lasting love, this is the series for you!

Blown Away
These books with their subplots and plots catapulted you to the edge of a cliff keeping you emotionally involved. AJ and Sam's story along with the other captivating characters wove a story of intrigue and expectancy. I enjoyed AJ and Sam's connection to each other, the storylines and the other characters. Their HEA was the frosting on the cake. A very good read!

Love that defies all
First let me say, it was a beautiful story! A very hard story to get through but so real. The emotional roller coaster ride you felt in your gut. They take 2 steps forward and 5 steps backwards. Their relationship went through so many phases from being young inexperienced, challenges, tragedies, lost, to an all consuming love. This book tap in every emotion a reader expects from a good storyline. Kudos to this author. Unbelievable talented. 5 STARS!!!! When you end up w/ your first love and go thru trials n tribulations and come out strong it is true love story!

I'm glad that I purchased this series. The first book read slow for me (because the characters started out in high school and I'm far beyond that). I kept reading and I'm so glad I did. These two people were meant to be together and I just had to get to their HEA. AJ is my hero-a true alpha male without all the badass! Raven St. Pierre hit my radar after reading (and thoroughly enjoying) Marco. I look forward to more of her work.

Sam and AJ are everything!!! I've never been a huge fan of romance novels that center around high school kids but this one was done so right. That had such depth that it pulled me in and kept my attention. And things only got better from there!! This is definitely one of my new favorite authors!! Looking forward to Angel and Kai!

What is so well done about these books is just this Ms St. Pierre compels me through her words and plot twists to care a great deal about the two main characters, Sam and AJ. The characters are both relatable and interesting which kept me enthralled until the very last page. These are the first books I have read from this author but I definitely will be reading more of her books.

You are truly blessed with your craft. I love your creativity when it came to this story. You had me stay up all night just to finish part 2 of Aj and Sam's story. Set match!
How many times can you be lied to,and betrayed? Young love has it's pitfalls all by itself. But to have so many outside forces coming at you as well, only real love will stand. This is a well thought out, well detailed story that liad every single concept out for the readers. Wonderful !

I am a huge fan of the Free Falling Series and have read them all. This book did NOT disappoint. This author speaks my language and writes beautifully. This AMBW romance series pulls you in and makes you believe in true love again.

This was one of the best reads of my life! Raven St. Pierre is now one my favorite authors. This story pulled me in and would not let me go. The best love story I have read in a long long time. Made me emotional, but I was rooting for them the whole time.
