Another good trivia book

Another good trivia book by John Brown, though most facts are anecdotal (from Wikipedia) and the text could use a better proofreader. Overall, fun and entertaining.

Good but...

Its good but it confused me when some of the words in the facts got cut off and when the fact got cut off.

Inaccurate information.

The book states that the longest sniper kill was 2,745 miles.. which took 5 seconds. This means a bullet would need to travel nearly 550 mi/s or just shy of 2,000,000 mi/h. This along with many other incorrect or miss typed entries makes this book garbage. Did the author not even attempt to proofread or edit their own book?!?!?

Learned a few things....

1000 not so useful chunks of knowledge some more entertaining than others, but worth the read all in all. A bit funny

It has references

Unlike other fact books I have read this book has individual references for each and every fact listed. It was a pleasure to read.

Good bedtime reading, great to end the day. No cliffhangers to make you want to keep reading way past your bedtime, just trivial facts to help you win at Trivial Pursuit.

Mr. Brown is getting better with the typos and grammar, but still, his overuse of commas is very distracting.

Interesting facts. Some made me laugh. Mostly smiled over spelling and grammatical mistakes though.

I liked the book, there were some very interesting facts that I had no idea about. I wouldn't say many were 'shocking' though.

Edit

Misspelled words , sentences that don't make any sense. Very hard to read.
