Suzan has become the obsession of a vicious cult leader. Percy and Byron are jaguar shifter twins who will stop at nothing to protect her. In Suzan, they have recognized their mate, the one woman they always dreamed of sharing. But when evil visits the Ursa Fishing Lodge and Resort on Gemini Island, will their love be enough to defeat it? The passion and suspense continue in Predator’s Trinity, Book 6 of Rosanna Leo’s paranormal romance series, Gemini Island Shifters.
Librarian Suzan Marsh is an empath who has always felt assaulted by the feelings of others. She has had to distance herself from the people in her life, raising a mental barrier to ward off unwanted emotions. When wolf shifter August Crane abducts her, he breaks through the walls she constructed, forcing her to accept a frightening new truth.
Jaguar shifter twins Percy and Byron Moon are familiar with the evil ways of August Crane. Because of him, their childhood was destroyed. Because of him, their way of life at the peaceful Ursa Fishing Lodge and Resort is threatened. And they won’t rest until he is dead.
When Crane drags Suzan into his cult and decides to make her his “concubine,” Percy and Byron know they must save the human woman. Their connection to her is strong, and they cannot deny the dream they always held close. That they could share a woman and make her their mate.
But even after rescuing Suzan, none of them are free from Crane’s clutches. The wolf shifter has plans, ones that involve the demise of every shape-shifter at the Ursa Resort. Not only must Percy and Byron keep Suzan safe, they must convince her to accept them both. In order to stop Crane from hurting everyone they love, they must learn to fight together.

I have been a huge fan of Rosanna Leo's Gemini Island series since the first book. Each book drew you in with a storyline that was both sexy and interesting and characters that made you experience a whole range of emotions. But I have to say, the first few books in the series were light and fun. Soren's antics with Ryland were just hilarious. However, with the introduction of August Crane and the "Alpha Brethren" in Predator's Fire, the arc of the series began to grow more intense...darker even. I thought the intensity in Predator's Fire was as high as it would go for the series. There were some hair-raising moments but it was all smiles and happily-ever-afters at the end. Like I said, I'm a Rosanna Leo fan and her writing tends to lend itself to the lighter but sexy side of the spectrum, so I had a preconceived ending in mind when I started Predator's Trinity.
I was WRONG. So VERY WRONG. This BOOK!!! I was absolutely blown away with Leo's writing in this one. Predator's Trinity still had one of Leo's essential style tenets: It was sexy! *Face fanning sexy*. Leo confesses that this is her first ever menage story and she did an exceptional job creating the triad relationship between brothers Percy and Byron Moon and Suzan March. The intimate times between them helped to bridge the more intense moments of the story with lighter and sexier interludes.
I won't recant the story for you because I won't do it justice and this is one that you DEFINITELY need to read for yourself. There was so much crammed into those 140ish pages. Predator's Trinity was full of twists and turns that I was not expecting. In my head, I just "knew" how things were going to play out and I was completely wrong. Pleasantly surprised in one regard but so terribly devastated in another. The Gemini Island that we see in Predator's Trinity is not the same island that we first encountered in Predator's Kiss. There are no guests. There is no laughing. There is little joy. Things are dark and life is at risk because of the actions of the Alpha Brethren. Crane is a sick and twisted individual and all of his hidden secrets come out to play in this one. Predator's Trinity exposes a lot of information about his past. It also explains his freakish obsession with Suzi. In this one readers will encounter: new shifter types (there is one that will FREAK you the "eff" out), surprise connections, and devastating loss. I can say no more on that *sob*. But, this story will make your heart race and will shatter it into pieces too. Good doesn’t conquer evil unscathed in Predator's Trinity, but it does conquer it.
At the end of the day the Gemini Island that remains is a shade of its former self but it is on the mend, as are its inhabitants. We are left with hope for the future in the new generation of shifters and in the new connections that were made. I am chomping at the bit to see what Leo does with the remaining books in this series. I am in awe and impressed by the level of depth and emotion that she conveys in her stories.
All I can say is, "WOW!!!" about this series. Excellent job, Rosanna.
As an empath, Suzan Marsh has had to distance herself from everyone in her life but when she becomes the obsession of August Crane, she’ll have to join with jaguar shifters Byron and Percy to stop Crane in this spellbinding paranormal romance.
Very familiar with the evil ways of August Crane, Percy and Byron set out to rescue Suzan and the reader can’t help but get caught up in all the excitement as Byron and Percy try to convince Suzan that she is meant to be theirs while trying to keep her safe. The chemistry sizzles from every page and the sex scenes are scorching but Suzan has had a lot thrown at her in a short amount of time and accepting two sexy jaguars may be too much and these strong compelling characters demand your attention while they try to work everything out and the fast paced, smooth flowing plot keeps the adrenaline pumping with lots of suspense, turmoil and romance.
There is never a dull moment in this story as Crane continues his evil campaign against humans and the shifters of the Ursa Resort and all the emotions flying in every direction causes Suzan some distress especially when Crane and his shifters “evil” vibes wreak havoc with her walls. The well written scenes and details paint vivid images that make it easy for the reader to become completely immersed in the story and the intriguing events ensure that the reader can’t put the story down.
Rosanna Leo’s Gemini Island shifters has had me enthralled from the beginning and I have to say that I think she out did herself with this one, it’s exciting, full of unexpected twists and a passionate romance even if parts of it did make me want to cry.
I was lucky enough to have a chance to get an advance copy of Rosanna Leo’s, PREDATORS TRINITY, and I am pleased to announce it did not disappoint! In fact it was one of my favourite in the series. If you love erotic romance and shifters this is a must read!
In this paranormal shifter novel we see the fruition of romance for twin brothers Percy and Byron. Strong, handsome men with artistic sides, the brothers have always believed they would find one true love to share. Enter Susan Marsh, a quiet librarian who finds herself mixed up in some very dangerous circumstances. Saved by the handsome brothers Byron and Percy, and now under their protection, Susan becomes ensconced in the life the brothers share. Finally she feels at home at the Ursa Resort and begins to understand her true self.
Aside from the romance and shifter excitement, PREDATORS TRINITY also brings closure to a plot line that has been brewing in the earlier Predator novels. Which makes this hands down the most exciting novel in the series yet. Love and War have always been a fantastic combination, add shifters and you’ve got a five star read!
I adore this series for so many different reasons. The wonderfully crisp writing, the endearing characterizations, plots that take you to the edge of your seat then make you cry, and the basic philosophy that good will triumph everytime. Oh and the HAWT bear shifters too!!!
I've been on board with the series since book 1 and totally fell in love with Ryland Snow and his wonderful Ursa Lodge. In the first few novels we get to know the lodge, it's employee's and the Snow brothers and their close friends well. These were light hearted days of vacation, relaxation with some teenage spirit tossed in for your heart and your belly laughs. However, as the series continues the novels take on a darker and edgier feel. This comes to a head in "Predator's Trinity" . I won't go into details of the plot but will tell you a lot of the loose ends from other books of the series are tied up in PT. In fact if I didn't know differently I would have said this was the last book of the series. A little birdie told me there will be more Gemini Island books so I was hugely relieved!
This was Rosanna Leo's first try at a menage storyline and she did a fabulous job. The relationship was a bit of insta love but in about 145ish pages you needed to get to the point. The story was so well crafted that you will find you will be drawn into fits of anger, left all tingling after a passionate scene ....I have to say here ..."sculptures" when you read the book you will get my meaning, you will be on the edge of your seat awaiting unknown outcomes, and cry like a baby as the darkness creeps into Gemini Island.
This is a don't miss for Gemini Island Shifter fans and for those who just love shifters. Rosanna Leo doesn't let her readers down...there is a lightness to the stories she writes even when evil creeps in and you know you can count on the steam level to be boiling and she never misses giving you the ending you know you crave. 5 Dazzling Stars for this the crown of the Gemini Island Shifter Series. Can't wait to see how you top this one Rosanna.
Note: The author did give me this ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you.
Book: Predator’s Trinity Series: Gemini Island Shifters – Book 6 Author: Rosanna Leo Genre: PNR – Shifter (M/M/F) Length: Approximately 205 Pages
PREDATOR’S TRINITY by Rosanna Leo is Percy, Byron and Suzan’s story. This is Book 6 in the Gemini Island Shifters Series, but it is stand alone so if you haven’t had a chance to read the rest of the books in the series, you won’t have a problem following this story. This happens to be my favorite shifter series though, so I highly recommend all of the books.
August Crane, a psychopathic wolf shifter, is obsessed with Suzan, an empath who has had to distance herself from people due to the overwhelming emotions that flow through her. Percy and Byron, twin Jaguar shifters, have a sordid history with Crane, so when he abducts Suzan, they know they must do everything in their power to save her.
The Gemini Island Shifter Series is my go-to shifter books. I recommend this series to anyone looking for a new set of shifter books. It’s that good. It’s the shifter series that I wait on pins and needles for new books to come out and read them as soon as they are released. It’s also a series that I’ve re-read a few times as I wait for my fix for a new book in the series to come out. Ms. Leo has also written another shifter series that I can’t get enough of, The Orkney Silkies.
All of her shifters are beautiful, damaged in some way and needing the hand of a good, strong woman to straighten them out. As I read Ms. Leo’s books, I’m taken on a journey to different places with interesting people that I learn to either love or hate. I feel their emotions, their pain and their joy.
If you like romance, you need to pick these books up. If you like shifters, you need to pick these books up. If you like big, strong, HOT alpha males, you’ll find yourself flipping through the pages of Ms. Leo’s books so fast that before you know it, you’ve been drawn into their story and have been swept away from anything pressing such as laundry, dirty dishes or even preparing supper and you won’t even feel the slightest bit guilty. I promise.
Ooooohhhhh.....I think this is my favorite Gemini book to date. How can you not fall in love with Percy & Byron and want to make a sandwich with them. They are so freaking sexy and sweet.
So Suzan is a librarian who is kidnapped by that evil Augustus Crane. He is holding her and wants to make her his concubine which is of course confusing on so many levels since he is anti-human. The Gemini Island folks realize that she has been abducted and come up with a plan to help her escape. In the process Byron & Percy already seem to have an unexplained need to assist this woman and as soon as they come in contact with her they realize she is the mate they have been looking for. They are trying not to scare her away and try to take it slow.
As things progress between Suzan and the boys a few interesting developments happen that explain so many things. This was such a quick easy flowing story-line. There are some sad moments because of the battle with the Brethren that had me tearing up.
I will be very curious as to how Ms. Leo plans to redeem Fleur.
I loved this book! It had so many twists and surprises in it but I won't give anything away. There were losses and near losses that made me tear up a couple of times but there was a real feeling of hope in the book as well at the end that made me tear up in a good way! A real page turner and I can't wait for the next book in the series!
*I received an Advanced Reader Copy from The Author for an honest review*
I really loved this book! This book was sexy, hot, suspenseful, emotional and I loved every second of it! I laughed, cried and got angry in this book that when I finished this book I just stared at my e-reader trying to figure out what to do next! This is going to be very hard for me to type out a spoiler free review but I promise you this review wont have ant spoilers – well I hope so…..
This book is a about Suzan who is an very good empath. Now an empath feels every feeling very strongly and not just her own feelings either, she feels all those others around her emotions as well. So she decided to distance herself from people and she made sure she doesn’t touch them and I think that’s why she loves books so much- books don’t give off emotions so being a librarian helped her a lot. One day she got abducted by August Crane – which I might add I did not understand why because he hate humans- I thought maybe because she is a empath he might tolerate her because why else would he make a human his concubine? Though one day she had a feeling that the Moon brothers will be her salvation and it was true because Byron and Percy rescued her. Their connection with each other was so strong that everything changed for them but they weren’t out of Crane clutches! The only way to make them all safe at Ursa Fishing Lodge was to kill August Crane but it is very hard because he has so many allies in his “church”!
Thankfully the connection Suzan had with Byron and Percy made her trust them since the moment they met! All the men needed to do is make her understand that they are meant to be together and not scare her off because they liked to share her! This book had a lot of surprises and I loved every second of it! I would so gladly read this book again and again because I received the ARC yesterday and I finished it Yesterday! I wanted to read this book for a while so I dropped everything just to read this book and I can tell you it was so worth it! Yes people you should get this book as soon as you can and read it immediately! Trust me it is worth it! Though the ending nearly killed me- I cried a lot at the end but don’t worry the book has a HEA like all those other books of Rosanna Leo!
I can honestly say I enjoyed this book so much I read it twice. Although part of that double-reading was my fault: I skipped to the naughty bits first and then went back and read the book as one should. I figured, as well, there were two heroes, so why not indulge myself in two readings?
Yeah, something like that. :)
I am a fan of Rosanna Leo's books. Always have been. So each time she writes a book I enjoy a mixture of excitement and trepidation. Thankfully, with the sixth instalment of her Gemini Island Shifters series, my fears (can she keep the momentum? you bet!) were laid to rest.
Action. Love. Evil. Good. It's all there and then some. The "and then some" is a threesome, by the way. No, Ms Leo's not riding the shark here. She's given us brothers (*smile* named Percy and Byron) who have a unique way of sharing their love. And Suzan is ready for this where others have not been. The match is perfect and yes, I guess three's a charm.
While I could wax eloquent about August Crane and his horrible henchmen, I would rather focus on what amazed me reading this book: it's the first time I've read a menage love story which I believed, through and through. Ms Leo leaves the battling to the ages' old good vs. bad guys, not in-fighting among our brave and passionate lovers. That song gets tired. This is kazowie-zam love hitting hard and I bought it. One thing which draws me to this series is that the love is always so clear. Once they realize it's love, nothing is going to stop them. Nothing. That clarity gives comfort to the reader, says "hey, sit back, enjoy the ride."
Speaking of which, this book is full of surprise. I can honestly say there were a few things I did NOT see coming. What a treat! I cannot wait til Book 7. And for what it's worth, short of Nancy Drew (another redhead) there is no series which has held me so long.
For those loving excitement of other sorts, PREDATOR'S TRINITY offers plenty. For those wondering if loving two men is more trouble than its worth, this book is here to tell you that sometimes love, like lightning, can strike twice.
~~ARC a gift from the Author in exchange for a honest review~
I’m pretty sure I just found another new fav author to add to my list. I had the pleasure of reading and Reviewing Predator’s Trinity. Rosanna’s style makes it easy for her to be a favorite. Decent length, not too short or too long, the characters filled out enough that you got a good feel for them. This is book 6 and though I haven’t read the ones before, its still a easy read and I had no problem following the story-line.
Often anything that is different gets shunned or made fun of, not many people take the time to get to know a person. But when family does it well it just makes you want to turn them in for a new brand. (smiles) The sexy and curvy Suzan and the gorgeous hunky twins the Moon brothers, would more than welcome the chance to have different family.
Because Suzan is a empath she has spent most of her time alone, the constant barrage of feeling everyone’s emotions is just too much for her. Byron and Percy they are Jaguar shifters and on a mission, they’ve heard a woman was kidnapped by their nemesis, they know just what happens to females under the “Great Alpha’s” care and they set about gaining her release.
What a great read it has sassy females all ready to protect their men, males with a bit of me tarzan you jane mentality, oh lets not forget the evil bad and he puts a whole new meaning to being a baddie. The honor as well as the evil will have you on your own mission to finish the story. Love and loyalty, saddness and compromise. Top that off with a big fat cherry of hot sexy make ya have to fan your face.
Oh yeah I can’t wait to get my paws on some more of Ms. Leo books. Enjoy
The Ursa Lodge was introduced in the beginning of this series as a safe haven where shifters of all variety can relax and be themselves. Predator's Trinity explores the threat that August Crane and his followers are to the residents at the lodge. The Alpha Brethern has been killing humans and the human community is beginning to question all the recent "animal" attacks. Suzan, the heroine of this romance, has a gift of her own. She is an empath and can feel the emotions of others. Negative emotions are overwhelming and incapacitate her. She is kidnapped and selected to be the concubine of August Crane. Although she does feel a connection to him, she feels that her heart belongs elsewhere. The Moon twins rescue her from Crane's clutches and the wild ride begins. All involved have baggage that debilitates them at times. They struggle to be survivors of their pasts and not victims. Relationships develop very quickly with shifters but, they seem to have the same issues with communication and trust that we all share. The families we are familiar with at the Ursa Lodge from previous books are so welcoming and protective, I wanted to pack up and go for a visit. Actually, that is how I feel when have read all of this series. I can't wait for my next visit. This book was a gift from the author in exchange for a review.
Predator's Trinity by Rosanna Leo is the 6th book in the Gemini Island Shifters series. This book should be read in order. The series builds on itself. While the romance is easily understood as a stand alone, the politics and world is not. In this installment of the series librarian Susan March is about to get her safe little world turned upside down. She is an empath. Tends to cut her self off from people because she feels just way too much. August is the bad guy, he kidnaps her to make her his bride and part of his cult. Luckily for her she has two very sexy twins to rescue her. Percy and Byron are jaguar shifters. They are tasked to save Susan. They didn't count on falling for the sexy librarian. But once they do there is nothing they will not do to protect what is theirs. Together they make an unstoppable team that August should fear. I liked the love and connection in this book. Both twins bring love and acceptance to the table. They are rough and tough around the edges but once you get to know them you cannot help but love them. Susan is no shrinking violet and I love that. She is a strong character all on her own. I love where this series is going and cannot wait to see where we go next in the war between good and evil.
Rosanna Leo is one of the authors I can and often do get a bit fan-girlish about. She is also one of only a few authors that can have me eager to read a shifter romance. Shifters aren't really my thing in general, and I fully admit to being rather tired of shifter romances generally speaking, but Rosanna's Gemini Island shifters are one of the exceptions to that rule. They are all filled with wonderful, well-developed characters and this latest entry in the series is no different. Though darker than most of the other books in the series, and overlaid with a rather more somber mood given the recent events on the island and surrounding community, I think this book can still stand as one of the crowning jewels of the series. Perhaps because of those things.
OMG!! Just when I swear that Rosanna Leo's Gemini Island Series can't get any better, she releases a new book that throws me for a loop.
August Crane, the evil bastard who leads the Brethren is back...and his plans are more sinister than ever. Percy and Byron Moon will stop at nothing to end his villainous reign...at any cost. But first, they must rescue August's hostage, a woman who he plans to make his concubine and the Queen of his evil empire.
Once they rescue the fair librarian, things change. They are both uncontrollably drawn to her and their inner jaguars long to possess her as their own. But will she be interested in joining their triad? And will their mutual fantasy of sharing the same woman come between these two identical brothers?
Really loved this story . Grabbed me from the first and only got better. Finally learned some surprising facts about August Crane in this one. Percy and Byron were perfect for Suzan and she was for them. Although it gave me good closure on the Brethren was so sad at the end for what happen then . Can't say without spoiling the book get it and find out.
Percy and Byron are jaguar shifter twins, brothers to Killian Moon. The story from Killian continues as their past catches up to them when Suzan's fate intertwines with theirs. I was really glad the author gave us closure with this dramatic story. The wolf shifter Crane was a sicko! It reminded me why I hate religious cults - I totally enjoyed the ending of the Moon's parents. The mind level the twins shared was intriguing and it was cool how one started a sentence and the other finished it. I was glad the twins got their mate. Suzan however, what craziness she had to live through being a empath. Glad she finally found peace with the twins. Their sexual encounter was very entertaining. Hot Hot Hot.
