Divine Temptations: The Complete Series: A Gay Goblin King's M/M Romance
Badinel, a hot, gay goblin king, runs a notorious blog devoted to scandalous tales of angels and demons. Divine Temptations unfolds through two interwoven a dramatic saga of love and power struggles in the infernal realms, and Badinel’s irreverent, comedic misadventures in Seattle.
Book The Devil's Beloved
Satan falls for a handsome angel of wrath, igniting a spicy, opposites-attract love affair. Meanwhile, Satan’s vengeful ex, the angel Abaddon, schemes to exploit the forbidden romance to seize the crown of Hell.
Book Prince Abaddon
Rideriel, an angel shamed for being attracted to his own kind, chooses to fall from Heaven. When Hell claims him, its new ruler, Prince Abaddon, binds him in a dangerous game of passion. This queer dark fantasy explores themes of obsession, identity, and transformation.
Book The Raven and the Songbird
Angel Rideriel has become the ruler of Hell, but for political reasons, his love affair with the raven-headed Marquis Andras must remain secret. To preserve Rideriel’s crown, Andras keeps his distance so no one will suspect how close they are. However, despite his jealousy, he suggests the new king seek pleasure among the palace’s Toro the minotaur, Valos, the siren, and Nekoya, a two-tailed cat demon. Yet as Rideriel explores Hell’s delights, one truth no indulgence can quiet the pull of the raven he loves.
Book The Gay Goblin King
Goblin King Badinel visits a tavern for ale and perhaps a bi elf fling when a masked man claiming to be the Rat King bursts in, offering him a most indecent proposal. Never one to refuse a hedonistic distraction, Badinel agrees. After an overzealous encounter involving an irate fae swarm, he plans to ditch the admittedly sexy Rat King, only to get trapped in pirouetting rat horde induced forced proximity. As they travel together, both realize they are tragic misfits suffering from a broken heart, until they join together, deciding to try for their happily ever after.
Content Note: This collection contains mature themes and explicit scenes intended for 18+ readers.

It was like I was being read a spicy romantasy that I shouldn’t have been read lol … forbidden love with angels .. craziness packed into a book that you have to check out .. I cannot even describe it .. you just have to read it for yourself and let me know what you think
Review of advance copy received from Author
This was a wild ride!
At its heart, it's about love between angels, and we're talking spicy, forbidden love with more descriptive ways to describe body parts and actions than I've ever read before! But these tales of love are being told by Badinel, the Goblin King, and were originally written as blog entries.
So alongside the delicious, angelic, MM romances, we also have (amongst other things) a cookie recipe, caring for a bearded dragon, a trio of mushrooms who go on strike, and a tryst with a window cleaner.
I'm not even kidding when I say this is a book that needs to be read to be believed, any review I write would not do it justice. If you're a fan of MM paranormal romance, with some random chaos sprinkled in throughout, then this is definitely worth checking out.
I received an ARC of this ebook from the author, via Happily Booked PR, and I'm voluntarily leaving this review.

Divine Temptations is a series that defies easy categorization. Every time I thought I had a grasp on its genre, something unexpected and chaotic unfolded. 😂
At its core, it’s a spicy M/M fantasy series brimming with angels, demons, forbidden relationships, jealousy, obsession, power struggles, and characters grappling with their love lives. But then there’s Badinel, the gay Goblin King, narrating the entire series through his blog while navigating his own wildly unpredictable life. His presence alone elevated the entire series to a whole new level of fun.
Each romance in the series offers a unique and captivating experience. We witness Satan’s unexpected attraction to Tzyeriel, Rideriel’s darker journey with Abaddon, Rideriel and Andras’s secret relationship while ruling Hell, and finally, Badinel’s own story.
And let’s not forget the Rat King I was not prepared for that twist! 😂
Beneath the humor lies a deeper exploration of darker and more emotional themes, particularly around shame, identity, rejection, and the realization that the person you love can make you feel wrong. These elements added a profound depth to the story that exceeded my initial expectations.
Divine Temptations is a peculiar blend of spicy, queer, and humorous elements, all executed with a completely over the top flair.
If you’re a fan of M/M fantasy romance and seeking something truly different from your TBR, this series is a must.

Book Rating: 3/5
Spice Rating: 3.75/5
Divine Temptations was definitely one of the more unique books I’ve read. I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect going into this one, but between the angels, demons, forbidden relationships, and the Goblin King narrating everything through his blog, there was A LOT happening.
I enjoyed the concept of the stories within the story, and Badinel’s chaotic commentary was probably one of my favorite parts. He added some humor to the story and made the book feel unique from anything I’ve read before.
Now...with that... this was a little difficult to get into at first. The perspectives and the different stories took some getting used to, and for me, this caused me to have some issues connecting to some of the MCs. There was a decent amount of spice in here, so if you’re looking for a very spicy MM fantasy, this is one to give a try!!
Overall, Divine Temptations was a wild and chaotic ride. It’s weirdly fun, spicy, funny, and definitely not your typical fantasy.

This series is definitely a wild, chaotic ride, but it ended up being just okay for me. The concept is pretty unique; you have a gay goblin king named Badinel who runs a scandalous blog about angels and demons, and the story splits between major political power struggles in Hell and his own ridiculous misadventures in Seattle.
It jumps around a lot through different couples and storylines across the four books, starting with Satan and an angel, moving into dark underworld passion, and wrapping up with Badinel getting stuck in a forced-proximity road trip with a guy claiming to be the Rat King. Because it's an erotica series, the spice is dialed all the way up, and the humor is very campy and over-the-top, especially with things like a pirouetting rat horde. For a three-star read, it kept me entertained enough to see how it all connected, but the pacing felt a bit disjointed with so many moving parts and shifting couples. If you want something totally out there and heavily focused on high-heat fantasy tropes, it’s worth a look, but it wasn't a favorite.

This book was delightful and adorable. The writing style of this book, though absolute chaos, is completely endearing. I am loving the multiple “stories within a story” style of this book. I will admit, it has me so I couldn’t put it down.
The main focus of all the stories was sex, sprinkled with a touch of cookies, a bearded dragon, and so much love. Love between Satan & Tzyeriel, Rideriel & Marquis Andras, Blarg & Nicole, and even Badinel and the Rat King.
So many stories, so many trysts, so much lust, so much love.
I recommend this one if you are looking for something different, full of MM … MMM… ya, lots of M.
What to expect:
😈M/M fantasy romance
🖤High heat romance
😈Opposites attract
🖤Forbidden love
😈Forced proximity
🖤Dark fantasy romance
😈Angels and demons
🖤Monster/supernatural romance
😈Happily ever after

Divine Temptations is a completed series so it’s four books in one which makes for a cohesive read. I liked being able to read straight through so I could track the characters easily. There’s a great continuity to the stories that showcased the artistic writing style. It’s very heavy on the hot and heavy! It was so impressive how throughout all the steamy scenes there was still so much thematic exploration, I haven’t read anything like that to date. It’s stories of angels and demons told by the Goblin King. I really liked that as the Goblin King narrated through writing the stories the reader was acknowledged. It was engaging to feel like this was for me and written knowing I was reading, very clever!

“Divine Temptations” by Zwahk Muchoney is out NOW! Grab your copy today.
This story was a unique in a way that it was a story within a story. It was written by a Goblin King, Badinel who wanted to write a unique story about angels, more specifically gay angels.
This book explores the aspects of angels and demons and their hidden desires. The love between Tzyeriel and Satan was so passionate and real. It eventually led to their demise, but at what cost? They loved each other.
Overall, it was unique in every way! Beware this book has many spicy scenes. It is needed as it explores forbidden desire, an important element in the book.
Thank you @happilybookedpr for this ARC! This is my honest review!

Divine Temptations was so different from anything that I’ve read before. At first, it was a bit challenging to follow, switching from first and third person point of view. But once the story really started, it was fun to read. Our narrator is a goblin king, Bandiel, who writes an erotic M/M romance blog, all while exploring a whole new world- Seattle.
The chaos of Bandiel’s adventures were a breath of fresh air. Every time Bandiel’s point of view came up in this book, I found myself laughing hysterically! I enjoyed his storytelling and was intrigued by the four stories he told. Each chapter that features his stories tends to leave us on a cliffhanger- as Bandiel has some misadventure in the real world.
This book was a quick read for me, as I found myself very entertained. I’ve never read anything quite like this and I was very intrigued as I was reading.

This was a very unique, spicy, fun read. This is 4 stories in 1. The very unique part is that there are stories within the story. Our overall main character is writing a series of connected MM romances so throughout we get both the story from our MMC and from his characters. It was very chaotic, and a lot to get used to at the beginning, but once I got used to it, I was flying through this book. This is very very MM spicy throughout, but is still a fun story. If you want to try a unique spicy MM fantasy read, try this one and push through the first bit because it does get easier to follow.

This story was about creatures of angels, demons and their lovers. The angels with their forbidden desires were driven from Heaven and the demons, Satan, in particular, loses his position as the king in Hell. ANGELS, DEMONS AND LOVE OMG!!!! I couldn't even put it down literally. I was hooked as I start reading the first page. I was on the edge of my seat. This story will have wanted more from the love story of these characters in this moment. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book Happily Booked PR via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest review. Trina Jones

This book was a heated and absolutely delicious read. I couldn’t get enough of this. The story is unique and intriguing. And I was so invested in the characters. This book is layered and deep and had me in an emotional chokehold. I loved it. There was so much going on in it that I kept turning page after page to see what would happen next. We get intrigue and chaos and so many shenanigans. It was such a fun read. And those steamy moments were honestly *chef’s kiss* Everything about this completed series had me invested and intrigued. I couldn’t put this down.

ANGELS, DEMONS AND LOVE
I received this book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review.
This story tells of angels, demons and their lovers. The angels with their forbidden desires were driven from Heaven and the demons, Satan, in particular, loses his position as the king in Hell. I like the way that the goblin king tells the story and portrays the Fallen ones story so the reader feels deep empathy for those who are shunned for their feelings and beliefs.

Absolutely filthy chaos
This story was absolute chaos. Its stories on top of stories.
At it's heart its several love story's with a LOT of smut. I've never seen more different descriptions used for the parts and acts in a single book.
The format of the stories was so weird and not really my cup of tea. It felt very much like fanfic smut.
Every time it got hot and heavy I was taken out of the story with the bizarre descriptions used.
This book was definitely not for me.

Divine Temptations is a collection of shorter stories all wrapped up in one volume.
There was a lot going on in these stories. It had forbidden romance, angels, demons, and spice! The writing style was very hard for me to get into, but the narrator was very funny with his commentary.
I felt like the writing style was what caused me not to get really into this world and characters.
Thank you to Happily Booked PR for this ARC. This is my honest and voluntary review

This book is a collection of four stories within a story. It is such an absolutely wild ride. There’s no way to explain it other than it being one of the steamiest and funniest reads I have ever read. It’s about forbidden love between angels, but there’s so much more. This paranormal romance is.🔥🔥🔥🔥 and a must read!!!

This is just not for me. There is a narration at the top of ever chapter - kind of like an author note you would see at the top of fanfic… except it’s written from a fictional narrator? It just keeps taking me out of the story. The chapters are so short I cannot get settled in with the characters or what’s going on.

This was an amazing book. I truly enjoy every aspect of it. The author did a phenomenal job writing this.
This book was so good to deep dive in.
I really love that this was the complete series so it was easier to read just back to back as opposed to having to go to different books which I really appreciate.
I have read a couple great books from his author but this one right here was actually really good I like anything so far.

Divine Temptations: The Complete Series: A Gay Goblin King's MM Romance is a pretty good read overall. I would recommend this series if you enjoy MM Romance, high spice, and books that are entertaining. I would give this book a 3.5. I think the first story took me a bit to get into but the more I read the more I enjoyed the series.

I won’t lie but at first I wasn’t feeling it and mostly because it was jumping from 1st pov to 3rd pov but I kept reading and once the storyline picked up it wasn’t too bad – I actually really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the story telling from the narrator Goblin King along with the back story happening for the narrator at the same time. My favorite character may just be Agatha though

I had pretty mixed feelings about this one. There were definitely parts I enjoyed, but some things just didn’t work for me. The writing style felt a bit off at times, and I found myself getting distracted during some scenes. It wasn’t a bad read, but I don’t think it was really for me.

Very different from normal reads but it was still a good read and kept me reading. Will definitely read more from this author
