The last book in the series: Danish Days: A WWII Romance will immerse you in the occupied Denmark reality. Like her siblings before her, Frida is sent to Denmark with the OSS to help with the war. She becomes Blomst and yes, she misses her family back in America, but she must do her part. She meets Rejsende(Stig) as she lands. Her job becomes more as she becomes an integral part of the intelligence team. Her feelings are changing towards Rejsende, but love does not fit into the war or does it. This story will let you see another side of war in another country and a romance that let you see that love can grow among the cruelty.

Danish Days is another great read in The Resistance Chronicles. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn't put it down. The author did an excellent job weaving WWII historical details into the story, which brought it to life. I could feel the tension, the heartbreak, the forgiveness, and the walk of faith the main characters clung to as they prayed for safety while performing their duties.

The resistance workers had me on the edge of my seat. At times, it was terrifying to think of what could happen. The slow wartime romance created even more tension, and I felt for them. The ending was positive and wrapped everything up nicely.
