About the author

J.W. Sands

1 book12 followers
Like the professor at the center of this novel, J. W. Sands has spent his life in lecture halls - teaching across a multitude of countries and continents, and traveling the world with the inconvenient habit of noticing its patterns. He lives in Portugal now, within driving distance of the real place where Transcending Trinity ends.

Portugal's greatest writer, Fernando Pessoa, wrote under heteronyms: not pen names but whole personalities, each with a voice and a life of its own. J. W. Sands belongs to that tradition - taciturn, philosophical, fondest of questions that refuse to be settled. He shares that temperament with Peter Alba Longa, who can find a pattern in a dropped fork and counts the streetlights on the walk home.

Question everything. Count everything.

Read it in a minute! Couldn’t put it down, the ending (trying not to spoil it) was unique, almost like a scavenger hunt. Loved it
