I grew up among the citrus trees and salt air of Florida, where stories were as common as thunderstorms and family ties run deep.

Raised in a blue-collar family with roots stretching back to orange groves, I learned early on that resilience and heart were the cornerstones of any good life (and any good story). Summers were spent barefoot, climbing trees and riding bikes down dirt roads, while the grown-ups swapped stories over potluck dinners and folding chairs in the backyard.

Books were a constant escape and a secret dream. With a lineage full of storytellers, veterans, and caretakers, it was only natural that one day I would start weaving tales of love, strength, and second chances. Drawing on the quiet dignity of working-class life, and the romance tucked between everyday moments, I write stories that feel like home: warm, genuine, and always a little sun-kissed.

Though the name on the cover might belong to one, the voice behind the pen is shaped by many generations of grit, grace, and just a touch of Southern charm.

Country Roads Volume 2 by T.C. Lynndale and Ericka Chestnutt is a sweet and heartwarming collection of Southern romances. I really enjoyed the small-town atmosphere and the strong sense of community woven throughout the stories. The Southern setting added so much charm, making the book feel cozy and familiar. Each story brought its own characters, romantic situations, and emotional moments, while the overall collection stayed connected by themes of love, friendship, family, and finding where you belong. I especially enjoyed how the romances weren't just about the couples: they also showed the importance of the people and communities surrounding them. Overall, Country Roads Volume 2 was a cozy romance collection that felt like coming home to a friendly little town.

I received an ARC copy from Happily Booked PR. Thank you for giving me the chance to read this novel and share my honest review of the novel

3/5...continued to deliver the cozy, feel-good small-town romance vibe this series does best. I enjoyed the familiar Southern setting, the interconnected characters, and the emphasis on relationships, family, and finding your place. That said, these installments felt a little uneven for me. Some of the romances had great chemistry and emotional potential, while others seemed to move too quickly for me to become fully invested. A few of the conflicts also felt somewhat predictable, and I occasionally wanted more depth from the characters and their emotional journeys. The bonus epilogues were a nice touch and gave the collection an extra sense of closure. Overall, this was an easy, comforting read with plenty of romance and small-town charm, but not every story connected with me equally. A solid continuation of the series, though I preferred some installments over others.I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Thank you TC Lynndale Ericka Chestnut and Happily Booked PR for this ARC of Country Roads Vol. 2, these were delicious tidbits that you will eat right up‼️

Did I read each of these novellas when they were first released? yes, yes I did! Did I devour them the same the second time around? Yes, yes I did!
But when TC and Ericka combine these novellas the extra cherry on top are the EPILOGUES 🤭

I love me an epilogue, I don’t care how long or short it is, they are that extra bit of magic that every story deserves and I have been waiting with anticipation to reread these novellas with their epilogues🫶

And let me tell you, they did not disappoint!

Featured Novellas:
🫶Revised Beginnings
🌳Runaway Beginnings
🫶Explosive Beginnings
🌳Hometown Beginnings

Thank you T.C. Lynndale, Ericka Chestnutt and Happily Booked for my copy of Country Roads Volume II. 🤍 I received this book for review, all opinions are my own and given freely.

I have been so fortune to read all of the Country Roads novellas in advance in addition to this volume that contains Revised Beginnings, Runaway Beginnings, Explosive Beginnings and Hometown Beginnings!

These ladies are putting out a new novella every month and it has been so fun to see what tropes they pick and how these stories play out. These are all very quick, easy reads. They don’t lack in anything! There’s just the right amount of plot to spice ratio!

Country Roads Volume II releases 09/15.

Who doesn't love a collection of contemporary romances? Umm, yes, please!

I absolutely loved the small town charm in these stories. This has a single mom romance, a cowboy romance, a workplace romance, and a best friend's brother romance.

Each one has their own special charm and magic to them! They also had epilogues with some extra info that you won't want to miss; I really love epilogues!

This is perfect for when you're looking for something quick to read with some wholesome stories and a little spice!

Thank you T.C. Lynndale, Ericka Chestnutt, and Happily Booked PR for this ARC

This was such a cute book made up of 4 different novellas. All ending in HEA and a little spicy.
Revised Beginnings follows a single mom who "hires" her kids coach to be her Manny. She's older than him. It was super cute.
Runaway Beginnings follows a runaway bride who hides out at her friend's ranch in another state. Where her friends brother falls hard for her and she's not that far behind him.
Explosive Beginnings follows a girl who is the manager of a coffee/bistro and her new boss (who bought it sight unseen) are trying to avoid each other which doesn't last very long.
Hometown Beginnings follows a girl who is helping her best friend's family while her besties brother is healing from a pretty big injury while he was in the military. They both fall very quick for each other.
If you're looking for something quick and cute then pick this up.

Thank you to Happily Booked PR for the ARC. This is my honest review.

I felt like the first volume of these stories was much more successful. Those stories packed a lot of detail and character into tiny bites that really felt connected to the month they were meant to represent. I really enjoyed May (single mom trope) and July’s (surprise boss trope) stories in this volume but June (cowboy but also mafia? trope) and August’s (brother’s best friend trope) felt a little rushed and “thin.”

This is a collection of short stories. They are sweet stories that are easy to read and the MMC’s are so easy to love. I enjoyed reading them, but I don’t think I am the right audience for a short story as they all felt rushed to me. The writing is excellent and the stories are entertaining. I just wanted more out of them. If you love short stories and what a quick read. Give this collection a go.

Country Roads Volume II contains four books from the Series.

May: Revised Beginnings - single parent, son's coach
June: Runaway Beginnings - runaway arranged marriage, mafia themes, cowboy
July: Explosive Beginnings - owner/manager
August: Hometown Beginnings - sister's best friend

All of these stories are novellas about the same small town. It was fun reading about each couple.

Thank you Happily Booked for this ARC!
These sweet, enjoyable stories had me smiling all the way through! This book is a great palette cleanser and perfect for when things feel too heavy!
The MMCs are easy to love and I like the sense that I’m jumping right into wherever the characters are. The stories are varied, but still have that wonderful HEA.

4 very cute, quick read, fast paced novellas.

Book 3 and 4 were my favourites, well paced, good stories, enjoyable tropes.

Book 1 and 2 were more fast paced, still very enjoyable and were very well put together.

I will definitely be picking up volume one of this series and look forward to the next volume as well

3.5 stars.
I enjoyed a few of the stories more than others. They are all very quick, but some just seem to lack more than others. I do enjoy a good novella, but I think these were a tad quick for me. Book 4 was my favourite. All are low angst, no third act break ups. A good pallet cleanser.
