Jeremy Clift is the author of the award-winning Sci-Fi Galaxy series, which follows one family's fight for survival across a fractured solar system shaped by climate collapse, genetic engineering, and alien contact. Clift delivers a propulsive blend of hard science fiction, corporate intrigue, family drama, archaeology, and romance, grounding the novel’s enormous stakes in an unsettlingly plausible threat. Kavach is the standout creation, both a spectacular feat of engineering and a provocative source of conflict. The shield allows Clift to probe thorny questions about ownership, profit, and responsibility: Who should control technology when the entire planet may depend upon it?

Arturo gives the sprawling story a strong emotional center, as his determination to step beyond his powerful father’s influence makes the conflict deeply personal.
