Just because the battle was won does not mean the war is over. Aein, Lars, and Finn are sent back to the swamps to protect the one object which may save their pack. But in the recent turmoil, the border has been left unguarded and nightmarish creatures are slipping through. There is a reason why two people must always be there to hold the boundary, a lesson which Aein, Lars, and Finn are about to learn.

Sexual quotient: non existent equals dead boring equals commuter friendly and in this case a bit of nodding off. Really, the novel could have added some tasty action and the nosedive could have gone somewhere interesting instead of injuring itself when it hit the gutter.
This second book in this series was too similar to the first novel repeating the same scenarios over again. This was exacerbated by the further continuation of a dodgy love triangle.
Ultimately this book together with the series made a nosedive into the gutter.
Really enjoy this little story. Easy read. Just to short, would of been better if it was longer. Nice characters that could of been more bolder they what they are. Kate Danley could of done so much more with the story line. It was wide open for the taking. One more book in the series. Would like to see a second series with these characters because they have So much more to offer. If you want a quick series to read this is it.
I loved reading this second book in the series that followed the adventures of Aien. With the help of Lars and Finn she fights to secure the antidote for the werewolves. There are lots of twists in the tale and it makes a wonderful story.
OMGoodness this kept my interest from beginning to the end. I stayed up all night to read it. I love these characters and their honor, loyalty and need to do what’s right.
I liked the first book well enough but this one made a lot of decisions that just felt pointless. Yeah they were mostly related the the worlds most annoying love triangle, but I could have overlooked that if the lot was more engaging than it actually turned out to be. Oh well, it was a quick and easy read and I didn't exactly waste my time. In the future I'll stick to her Maggie series.
This book does not lack any of the action, mystery, drama & excitement that was given to us in the first book of the series. Book 3 due out in August 2015 and I am ready for it. This is a series I am really enjoying and I honestly believe you will enjoy it as will. Start with book 1 so you won't get lost in the swamp
The first book was a little hard to get into but I loved this one and new there was potential in the story for it to get better. There is a love triangle in this book and it makes it difficult to figure out what is going to happen. I would like to see Aien with Finn but I love Lars that's don't want him to die or be unhappy.
