The Vacation
Lydia and Scott's relationship had been on the fritz for months. When Lydia's friend, Julia, tells her that there's a sexy, secretive resort, that completely reinvented her and her husband's sex life, Lydia is skeptical. She's even more skeptical when Julia advises her that she should go with Scott and give him a free pass for the duration of the vacation.

Blue Parrot Resort by Ivy Smoak. This book takes place at a fictional resort in Costa Rico. The resort is very exclusive and is only available by personal recommendations. One unique feature is its “Bracelet Game”. Each woman is given a beautiful golden bracelet to wear. Each man is given a card that will open the bracelet. Any man can ask any woman to do what is on his card and he will open her bracelet.
Lydia had prepared dinner for herself and her husband Scott with her best friend and her husband. Scott was preparing to enter the US Representative race and called at the last minute to say he would be late. Lydia talked to Julia and Tucker about their latest vacation. Julia suggested Lydia and Scott needed to go. Lydia said she would think about it. While she went to get dinner on the table, Julia made reservations for Lydia and Scott. Since they were not refundable, Scott agreed to go when he found out about them. Soon they found themselves headed through the rain forest to the resort.
Lydia and Scott agreed each could have a free pass to flirt with others while there. Scott found it fun until some other man decided to flirt with Lydia. When signing them up for activities, he signed them up to make a porn tape of the two of them. Just how he was going to get her to agree was another problem. Just how was he, with the help of the lady who ran that activity, going to get Lydia to agree to being filmed?
This is a good story with a surprise ending. It does, however, contain explicit sexual scenes.

This was good! Lydia only wanted attention from her husband Scott who was running for Congress. He was spending late nights at the office. Her friend suggested Blue Parrot Resort. Her and her husband went and became closer. Her friend showed her the card and called for Lydia. Scott was not all that interested in the vacation. This resort is in Costa Rica. Lydia asks Scott if he wants a free pass to be with other women. Scott couldn’t believe Lydia would agree to this. They check in and the front desk clerk tells them about different things about the resort. The clerk explains how the cards and bracelets work. Scott thinks his ass is slick trying to check his emails. During the pool Lydia takes his phone and hides it. Scott signed them up to make a sex tape for them only. Lydia turned the tables. She was still wearing the bracelet and the guys used their cards on her and Scott to watch. Scott was getting angry being handcuffed and had to watch men touch his wife. Ivy I like how Lydia got back at Scott. He deserves everything he got. I wish it was longer but I enjoyed it

I almost wanted to remove a star just for the ending, but everything can't be so black and white...or plain and simple. So, for that I applaud miss Ivy in her genius-ness.
This is a 'free book' from Ivy herself. Just a cute little quick read that will get you feeling all sorts of things and it's an extension from her main series in which the characters visited this resort. However, we're following around different characters here, but the hotel employees make a return.
Rating - 4 stars - that ending though!
Steam - 5 stars - an Ivy trademark
Storyline - 4 stars - it's not meant to be an web of events, but it will surely shock you

This book was impeccably written and imagined. I love books with tormented characters who decide to do something they were going to do with a loved one before tragedy occurs. When they complete this act, their lives change for the better and it becomes a cathartic experience for the person who has suffered a tragic loss. The character of a tormented widower spoke to me because I don’t usually come across stories about men grieving for their wives. This book is a must read for anyone who is experiencing this for themselves, and for someone who is struggling to find a way to cope.

Oh dang! This book is a great (common) story. A neglected wife, a scandal, a questionable husband. And that ending- wow!!! Did NOT see that coming, but I’ll never get sick of it!

Anything by Ivy Smoak is a guarenteed banger!! This book, although it was a short story (about 14/15 chapters) it did not disappoint!!! It was full of hot steamy sex, with a major twist at the end!!! A must read!!!!

This short story takes place at the resort that the Untouchables men go on for James's bachelor party.
James and his friends aren't in this story but this book sets the scene for the kind of things that happen at the resort.
Like many of Ivy's short stories, this one is very steamy.

This looked like a standard go on vacay, get a free pass to re-ignite the passion in a stagnant marriage and it turns into so much more. It was a quick read but the last little bit gets hot and steamy!!

I can’t believe
I just paid $5 for this. I mean, I love Ivy’s books but this was like a short story of nothing. Just sex. That’s it. Although, I did enjoy the way it ended I’m still disappointed with this
