Marking The Map - Diary of a Backpacker

Rate this book
An ordinary guy from an ordinary northern town in England decides to fulfil one of his dreams to see some of the world and try to cross some things off his bucket list.
At 36 years old, with his own home and car and a comfortable job, Mark enjoyed life. He has a great circle of friends, a loving family and could pretty much live how he wanted. But he wanted a bit more from life. Always positive in every decision he made, he wanted to take on a challenge that would be bigger than any he'd done before.
With no serious relationship to speak of and no kids to worry about, he set off on an adventure that would test him and change him.
From eating a tarantula, taking on the worlds biggest bungy jump and flying a plane to scuba diving, winning a poker tournament and even attending a funeral, Mark experienced the amazing highs and a couple of lows that come with travel and adventure.
Mark experienced life. Life as it should be....
