Liliana is a chef trying to help save her parents’ struggling bakery while also dealing with a relationship that hasn’t made her happy in a long time. When she catches Roman cheating with her best friend, that relationship ends fast.

A snowstorm and a trip to a vacation home bring Anton and Liliana together without either of them realizing who the other person really is. Their chemistry is immediate, but what I liked most was how comfortable they were with each other. Liliana feels like she can finally be herself without being judged, while Anton gets to experience being wanted for who he is instead of his money, power, or what he can provide.

I really enjoyed that this story didn’t drag me through endless turmoil about whether their relationship was wrong or whether they should stay away from each other. Once they realize their feelings are real, they don’t spend half the book fighting themselves. The circumstances surrounding how they met are definitely complicated, but they both understand that what they have is worth pursuing.

This was a fun, fast-paced age-gap mafia romance with plenty of chemistry and just enough family drama to keep things interesting. I especially liked Anton and Liliana together and how easily their relationship developed once they stopped treating it like a temporary fling.

This was a great book overall. It's an age gap with her ex's dad who just happens to run the Bratva.
Liliana just discovered that her boyfriend of a year is cheating on her with her own best friend and neither of them are apologetic. She's already struggling to help to keep her parents' bakery open and not lose the business and then she has to deal with her spoiled ex. During a snowstorm she decided to go to his family's vacation place to retrieve her notebook that she left there when she crashes into a parked car at the end of the driveway not knowing that it was Anton (ex's dad) car.
Anton is the head of the Bratva and has so much on his plate between the Bratva, all the businesses, his clingy ex-wife (divorced 20 years), and their spoiled entitled grown son. He goes to the vacation house to get away during the storm. When Liliana crashes into his car, he makes her stay because there's no way out and because he has a very big interest in her.
The spice between them during the storm is HOT HOT HOT!!!!! They spend two nights together and then try to forget each other. Until she discovers she's pregnant and doesn't know what to do. She wants to tell Anton but then she's scared that he will try to control her and their baby. She ends up being forced to tell him and he is beyond excited. He loves her to the fullest and it takes her a bit to realize that he is in it for the long hall .
I love a good age gap with a hot silver fox. This was such a good book and my first by Nastasha L. Black but won't be my last.

This book is exactly what it says on the cover, heroine catches her boyfriend cheating, goes to grab her stuff from his family's vacation home, gets snowed in with a much older, much more dangerous stranger, and one night turns into a whole situation involving family drama, old secrets, and an ex who won't take a hint.

The pacing is the strongest part. There's never really a dead stretch, it's drama, then spice, then more drama, and somehow it keeps working even when you can see most of the beats coming from a mile away. I liked the heroine too. She's not a doormat, she's tired, she's broke, she's dealing with a lot, and she still has a spine the whole way through, which made her easy to root for. The hero is your classic ice-cold-mafia-boss-melts-for-one-woman type, but there's something almost funny about how out of his depth he is with actual feelings, and that softened him up more than I expected.

That said, don't expect much depth here. It's a fun, trashy read, not a slow burn, and it doesn't really dig into the mafia side beyond the money and a few scary moments. The dialogue gets repetitive in the big emotional scenes, and the side characters don't get much to do. There's also some real violence near the end, plus a moment where a side character hits the heroine, so keep that in mind if it's a hard limit for you. But it does end happy, which I liked.

Loved how the MFC ,Lilliana takes control of the wreck her life has become. A self entitled ass of a boyfriend, and her so called Best friend have been shagging like rabbits, apparently for quite some time, when she walks in on them in the living room. Determined to get her things from his families vacation home, so she can work to get the family's Bakery running better and get out of debt. Getting caught in a fast moving snow/ice storm, is the topper to a day of catastrophic traumas, ending with skidding on the ice, and smashing into a car at the house, and totalling her car. Injured, and trapped, she uses her coat to protect her arm to smash her window, and crawl out. Finding out that she's treated with concern, and care helps, but the guilt, and frustration of no way to get the cell phone to get a signal has her trapped. Finding a tall older man who is obviously someone who can make decisions with authority is a shock at how instantly turned on he makes her. Meeting Anton, falling into bed with him several times turns into a nightmare when she finds out that he's her Ex's Father. It's a wild ride with the rest of this story. I highly recommend it. Trish. She wants her independence and to live her life her own way. What happens when Anton finds out?

I loved how strong Liliana was. I loved the instant chemistry between her and Anton. I loved how they were forced to spend time together due to the snowstorm. It was a perfect set up. I look forward to more from this very talented author.

This story is a perfect blend of the tropes listed in the blurb. Like a soft serve swirl cone where you get a perfect blend of flavors. Now I want ice cream.

Liliana is an independent woman with struggles she's determined to overcome. After she ditches her loser, cheating boyfriend, she moves on to other problems. She's determined, smart, and not a pushover, even when facing the pakhan of the Bratva. Anton is used to people bending over backwards to do what he wants. No one questions him or pushes back so he's not sure what to do with Liliana.

Their chemistry is explosive and it's heartwarming to see him accept her as she is. No changes necessary, regardless of the fact that he's always the one in control. He sees her existing value and that's beautiful.

She hadn't been happy in quite a while so it was time to move on. She's been so busy trying to save her parents' bakery and leaving Roman in the dirt was one less stress to carry. But she remembers leaving her planner and other things up at the Sokolov country house and drives up to retrieve them and get some closure. The winter weather deteriorates the closer she gets and Liliana ends up crashing into a big SUV sitting in the drive. She's is helped into the house and locks eyes with an older, gorgeous hunk of man who takes charge of the situation. One thing leads to another that night and Liliana wakes up to realize that she spent a blistering night with her ex's estranged father, Pakhan Anton Sokolov. Good book !!!

Well this was going to be one interesting winters night for these two and the surprises that follow icing on the cake.
Enjoyed this steamy romance with its drama, intrigue, Bratva dynamics, emotion, age gap, and danger.
An entertaining read that keep the lights on late into the night until that HEA was reached.

I really like the characters... there's definitely an instalove/instalust situation with Anton & Liliana, but I also like that they fall in love as their story plays out & they get to know each other more.

A romance like this is always a pleasure. Anton and Liliana were so great together but it liked thy fact that Anton listened to her.

After an unfortunate accident, Liliana meets the father of her ex, Anton at his home and the attraction is unbeatable.

I really enjoyed Anton and how much he stood up for Liliana against his useless son and ex wife. She wasn't a push over despite what she's been through and Anton respected that. That aspect and the romance is what capture me in the story.

So well done. Great characters and a plot that was both suspenseful but also romantic. So good truly.

This was a quick read for me because it was that perfect blend of spicy, tension filled, and just the right amount of drama. When Liliana finds her boyfriend with her best friend, she immediately stands her ground, ends things, and makes the decision to never let a man dictate her life again. What she is expecting is when she goes to get some of her things, to find this dangerously handsome man to sweep her off her feet. Secrets are exposed, truths are told, and they have the most epic few days that end abruptly, but fate has other plans. I loved that Anton decided to go all in and be there for her despite his own problems he faces and I loved that Liliana refused to be a doormat to anyone.

The family drama that plays out is unfortunate, but satisfying and just. There is some Bratav related violence, so be prepared. There is also some of the sweetness moments, so prepare to swoon.

I like this book and you will be rooting for Liliana and Anton's happily ever after.

I read this in 1 night and I was enthralled with the characters in the book. She just came to pick up her belongings not knowing that the older man who makes her feel like a queen is related to her cheating ex. I like that this story pulled me into its world, and I enjoyed from start to finish. It does have a happy ever after and the cheating ex gets what is coming to him.
