When event planner Charlotte is booked to create a wedding anniversary ball inspired by the Vienna Golden Age, she struggles to get truly stuck into the project… until she goes to Austria with the client’s nephew, Max.
After a disaster forces Charlotte to stay in Max's penthouse instead of the hotel, she gets to know him much faster than expected. The two of them explore the sights of Vienna and Charlotte discovers why her clients fell in love fifty years ago in the stunning city. Could history be repeating itself?
The Vienna Kiss is a sweet and wholesome short romance read that promises an escapist afternoon with a book that feels like you've stepped into a Hallmark movie.
This is perfect for those days when you’re busy but still want that feeling of actually finishing a book lol. It’s only 76 pages, but somehow it packs so much into such a short story and honestly left me wanting more.
It basically felt like a little Hallmark movie in book form. I loved the Vienna setting, Charlotte and Max were super cute together, and the whole thing was sweet, wholesome, and just really easy to read.
This is another gorgeous novella from 2 writers who clearly know how to write a short story that makes you say awwww.
This is an easy to read book with lots of heartwarming moments. An events planner see’s lots of love in her line of work wether thats loved ones throwing birthday/anniversary or even funerals or the more literal outward sign of love in a wedding but it takes its toll when realising thats what she is missing.
Suddenly a high society couple want her to plan a Vienna ‘Golden age’ ball for their 50th wedding anniversary and things change in her life in every sense.
To find out what happens please go and grab yourself a copy of this beautiful novella and support amazing indie authors who put in so much work to bring us these gorgeous stories to enjoy because i really did have a good time travelling to Vienna when reading this one
I loved it and anyone who wants a lovely short story with a hea should pick this up.
I am not a frequent reader of romance stories, but I am a big fan of Alexis Rose’s writing and I was more than willing to give The Vienna Kiss a read.
I’m extremely glad that I did!
What a lovely, sweet story. Charlotte, living in York, and Max, living in Vienna, are believable, genuine characters, perfectly supported by the friends around them. I was swept up into their story immediately, and appreciated the serendipitous ending.
And, as someone who has recently visited and loved York, the amount of care and affection for York woven into the story was the absolute chef’s kiss!
Just like relaxing in your fave chair with your fave beverage, The Vienna Kiss is a sweet, Hallmark romance that any reader will enjoy sinking into and sitting with for a while.
Loved this read! Willow Beaux is an autobuy author for me and this is the best book yet, the tension built so well despite being such a short novella, and the romance was swoony.
I don’t rate Novellas because they are very short stories. But this was absolutely amazing! I could feel their chemistry from the start, and the story itself sucks you in from page one. Absolutely amazing!!
This is a super sweet and emotional book for being so short. Its beautifully written and not overly cheesy like many short cozy romances. Its a perfect afternoon read, a palette cleanser, or even a good way to get back into reading.
