Find out how
Why is it that so many of the best ideas seem to lying around on the ground? Because they've been here for a long, long time. Pinskey's book is a very precise compendium of most of the the best ideas for small businesses and individuals to connect with others in a positive way as of 1997. The only thing missing is internet stuff, but the old stuff still applies. You are still dealing with people after all.
Dated. Like crazy dated. Much of the information is either incorrect or irrelevant. The chapter on networking may be valuable. And, there are some great thoughts on developing your brand, mission and value statements; but those are a short percentage of the book and are available in a number of more timely publications
It's an ok book, it just seems likes laundry list of suggestions instead of a concise plan of ways in which to successfully implement the ideas of promotion. If he'd have taken maybe 50 ideas or even 25 that have been discussed vaguely and discussed them broadly in a step by step, manner it would've been more successful in my opinion
Some good ideas. I think every individual will need to sift through the information and take away what they can use in their business. Overall its a good one to "refresh" with when you need a new idea.
Al ser una edición antigua (1997) la mayoría de tips que contiene están desactualizados, y muchos otros están enfocados al mercado norteamericano. Por supuesto que hay información útil dentro del libro, pero nada que no pueda encontrarse con una búsqueda en internet.
