After an unbelievable attack leaves the nation reeling, the FBI forces Greyson and his friends into seclusion, where they must deal with the heart-wrenching memories of the attack while hiding from vicious enemies bent on revenge.
But Greyson can't hide for long. A new hope spurs him on as he escapes and travels across the country, stopping at nothing to find his father. When his plans unravel, he must survive as a fugitive, hunted by terrorists in an increasingly hostile and divided country, aided only by the contents of his fanny pack, a stray dog, and his ceaseless daring spirit.
Greyson’s adventure explodes with an epic journey, frightening battles, and a soul-searching tale of survival that brings him face to face with a dangerous world that is not always what it seems. Greyson must fight harder than he has ever fought before to prevent another terrifying plot that no one sees coming – a Deadfall.
B.C. wrote the Greyson Gray Series to give today's children a real-to-life hero who is worthy of admiration - one who searches for truth, fights for justice, and dares to do good no matter the costs. Along with Greyson, B.C. added lovable characters with signature humor and a deep plot that grows with its characters both emotionally and intellectually. He believes modern readers are longing for powerful new stories that are both clean and exciting without any dumbing down.
He has a background in film, and many readers notice how his novels read like an action movie (and would make an amazing TV mini-series someday.) Just like a movie director, he prefers to stay behind the scenes; though he has greatly appreciated how many readers have fell in love with the series. He loved reading as a child, especially the Animorphs, Hardy Boys, and the Left Behind series, so it is a joy for him to give young readers another beloved series to add to their bookshelves.

For kids and adults. I’d buy it for my teenage boy. It doesn’t white wash yet is not unnecessarily violent, sexual, or crud. Greyson’s story is enthralling, fast paced, and action filled. There is humor, touching moments and some really good wisdom and advice to boot.
I have just finished “Greyson Gray: Deadfall” by B.C. Tweedt, the third book in the Greyson Gray series.
Hmmm…let me give you an example. When I was watching the Lord of the Rings movies with my (then pre-teen) sons, they’d be all bored in the talking and travel bits, and absolutely entranced with the battle scenes. Meanwhile, I’d be totally bored with the battle scenes…they just seemed to go on and on. There were times in this book that I thought, “You know, my sons would love this” even though they’re now in their 30s, as I waded through, ahem, battle scenes. Honestly, the storyline was great, the writing was good (a couple of misspellings, but I’m a licensed member of the Grammar Police, to/too). I had to wonder how Greyson managed to go SO LONG without sleeping, eating, or drinking. Once again, there was a bit of theology thrown in, but now I recognize the author’s intent, so it made sense.
I was disappointed that book two ended in a cliffhanger, because I was thinking I could just stop after that book, but no. I’m glad I read this one, because it started to explain the far-right/far-left conflict a bit more. I’m hoping that will all be made clear in book 4. Lots of twists and turns (however improbable) made this a fun read, and I think it would be ok for the middle-grade set as well. I’m back to 3-1/2 stars on this one. Yes, I’m a tough grader.
This Book was good, but it was confusing in some ways. The first two Greyson Gray books were very interesting, and at the end of the second book, the bombing happens, but the third book is very confusing because it doesn't describe the aftermath of the bombing as well. There were great parts in this book however. The part were Greyson finds his father is very interesting, and the ending is also very good.
Overall, I think this book had a lot of good moments, and I would really appreciate it if there was a fourth book. I would recommend this book to people from age 13 to 20. It has some violent/sketchy moments in it, but overall, if you are interested in action and adventure, I would recommend the whole series to you.

Greyson embarks on a journey across the world to Nassau where his dad was but it's not that easy. He got all his money stolen right away,so now he is left with nothing but a police dog and still hasn't left the state. He finds a way to find trouble and is now in a full blown battle vs the plurbs and the military, but with they help of new friends and old friends can he find his dad in Nassau? This book as a ton of action packed moments,it was really hard to put the book down because all the surprises it brings.I love how it switches pov because it shows Greyson in a battle, and then Jarrad running from plurbs on a cruise ship. The ending makes you want to read the next book right away. This is perfect for anyone between age 11-14
