“You’re pregnant.” Is not the first thing a man expects to hear after having sex with another man. But it’s what happens to Ethan, and that is just the start of a very messy day.
Ethan, until last night 100% straight, doesn’t know how to react when he finds out that the man he just had sex with not only got him pregnant, but that he is the richest, openly gay, bachelor in the city. So he does what he does best, run.
Max, a successful Alpha, curses himself that he let Ethan slip away. If the man is not with him he can’t protect him, or care for him. So he does what he does best, find his new mate and bring him home.
Only when the two are together do they really learn what happened last night, how Ethan got pregnant and what is yet to come for them.
Omega’s Home is the second story in the Mated to the Alpha series. This series contains an innocent human, a sexy alpha, naughty scenes and Mpreg (male pregnancy).
As far-fetched as this whole mpreg situation is, I must say that Ethan handles the news of his sudden were-baby pregnancy with aplomb.
Sure, he’s overwhelmed by the whole thing, but who wouldn’t be? 24 hours ago he was just some straight dude, attending a prestigious werewolf mating ball, in an attempt to make some quick money.
Ethan’s never contemplated being attracted to another man, but the moment he met Max, the unexpectedly humble Alpha werewolf, Ethan’s whole world changed. Within a matter of hours he had his first sexual encounter with a man and then woke up the next morning pregnant and mated.
Like I said, it’s a lot to take in.
This second story chronicles the “day after” and all the expected conversations and reactions of the parents-to-be. It’s all a bit fantastical, but it’s what I expect from a paranormal MM romance, which focuses on a werewolf/human couple and their future ass-baby (at this point it’s actually unclear whether it will or won’t be an “ass-baby”, but you catch my drift).
Well shit. Guess this is what happens when you have unprotected sex with a hot Alpha who is supposedly your mate. Ethan got knocked up. Max was none the wiser. He had no idea he'd be able to get his mate, his very human mate, pregnant.
And Max's mother is the one that tells him. Seems like there are some family secrets that need to told. Everyone in media all over Max taking a human to his room the night before.
Max, the most wanted (wealthy) Alpha bachelor, is off the market and taken by a human no less. Shocking! Not as shocking as the two of them finding out he was going to bare their children.
They need to figure things out and what they are going to do.
So, Ethan was pregnant, and he's terrified. Parents suddenly busy and his life's changed within less than 24 hours. Max was super exited, and he became very protective about Ethan. It's a nice and sweet to digest, good for my sweet tooth :) What will happen next in book #?

This is exactly what happens - and while the plot itself is of course not very realistic, the smut is good enough and I guess that I will read this series just because I want to know how it ends. Some mpreg from time to time can do no harm! I am not expecting great character development or interesting plot twists, but I am definitely in for some hot mating! Off to the next installment in this series - let's find out a little more about Max and Ethan.
This is the second book in this series. Max and Ethan have been together for 24 hours and Ethan has just found out who Max is and that he is. Max and Ethan have a lot to deal with and a short amount of time to deal with it. This book was well written like the first book. I wish that the book was longer. I am looking forward to read the next book in this series.
Another short wolf MPreg installment that reads well
The second short installment in this brief shifter wolf MPreg series, it reads as much or more as a sweet story as it does as smutty fun. The authors' characters and style work for me more than other Mpreg shorts, as the story and writing are entertaining along with bits of heated payoffs.
I've now read the first two and I think I'm content with that. If these were $0.99 each I'd read the whole series but I just don't feel as if I'm getting enough of a story with these at the price they are. I don't blame the author, just explaining why I'm not currently going to read any more. I like Max and Ethan and I'm always a big fan of mpreg so that part is appealing.
This is the second of an eight-book series. Ethan and Max have discovered that Ethan is pregnant. Ethan freaks out when he discovers that it's in fact not a joke and leaves before anyone can stop him. Ethan discovers that Max is the richest bachelor in the city and the media starts hunting him down. Max finds Ethan before the media does, and takes him back to his house. While at Max's house, his parents explain how Ethan was able to get pregnant. After the parents leave, Ethan and Max have some alone time together and decide to spend it making love to each other. The next part of their journey happens in the third story, Omega's Pack.
I am all for ABO dynamics and recommend it to anyone who has an interest in it. The characters are instantly likable, and the story is a quick read, but not too much so.
Ethan running on pure adrenaline flees shocking news and the man he has surprisingly spent a blissful night. Too much is coming at him - shocking revelations, concerns about his health, he faces a lot of media. He needs a gigantic time out. Unfortunately running away in the previous story did not solve his problems. First his friend finds him, he then his Alpha Wolf who secretes Ethan away to his family's pack lands. Both Max and Ethan need explanations & reassurances from Max's parents about what's going on. Once again during the intimate interlude Max is gentle and patient.
Had this on my Kindle and would pick it up every now and again when I was out and about, waiting in line, etc., take my review with a grain of salt since it took me so long to sporadically read, but I have to say this one was worse than Omega's Fate. The whole plot is convoluted. Ethan's been pregnant for all of one second. I don't know... Will I read the third book? Probably...
I was interested enough in the story after the first free book to purchase the second book. It was $2.99 for a one hour read. There are 8 books total. Seriously? I can’t justify spending that much on this story. On top of that, almost nothing happened in the second book. If this was audible, I would return it and get my money back.
This book was funny I know it was supposed to be spicy but to me it was relatively low on the spice of the interactions of the characters were ridiculous but I enjoyed how ridiculous the story was and of course the ending was ridiculous. I loved it.
In a word: Read the thing. A bit of a drop in quality compared to Part 1 (Omega’s Fate), but still mostly satisfying. This part picks up exactly where Omega’s Fate ended, immediately after Max’s phone call with his mother where she tells him that he got Ethan pregnant. This whole part takes place over the course of one day, the day after the Mating Ball. Ethan and Max are both freaked out, and Ethan runs off back to his place to be alone with his thoughts. But he won’t be alone for long because the media seems to be looking for him, which is apparently what happens when you mate with werewolf celebrity. They aren’t separated for long, because Max eventually finds and comes for him and takes him back to his place for explanations. I thought there was a bit too much going on in this part for how short it was. And even though there was a lot going on we didn’t actually see a lot of it, which was both good and annoying in different ways I guess. We see mostly all of Ethan’s journey back to his place, but we don’t see any of how Max ends up tracking him down. Max and Ethan’s business gets leaked all over the media, but we don’t get any deeper info on how that happens, and it isn’t really made clear just how big a deal it is that they got together. I was hoping for a bit more world building in this part but we don’t really get much. What we do get, luckily, is an explanation for Ethan’s pregnancy, and how that came about in a universe where biological males can’t conceive. It’s a good enough explanation, a bit weird that more people don’t know about it, but whatever. It’s not completely insane (considering the universe). The second half of this part was a bit slower than the first half and was focused more on Max and Ethan coming to terms with their new situation (and some sex, because why not). I did like the second half better than the first, but I did think it was a bit too convenient how Ethan seemed to easily accept that his whole life was completely upside down and that he’s now apparently living with Max. Also Part 1 had a few grammar errors that I mostly ignored, but they became a bit glaring in this part. The quality of the writing was definitely not as good in this part, but I was still engaged with the story and I’d still like to see where it all goes.
I read this as part of the Taking Chances: Gay Romances Box Set. The box set included book 1 and 2 of the series. This book ends in a cliff hanger like book 1 did. It is very short and not a lot really happened . Everything takes place over a few hours.
Multiple POV and Cliff hanger ending. A few things have been cleared up but left us with more questions. Thankfully this is part of KU cause I want to read the rest, but I can't see paying the price for each individual book. It would have been better to have written all as one long book and maybe charged 2.99 vs. 1.99 per book or what ever it is.
