NYPD Red 2: A Detailed Summary About The Novel Of James Patterson and Marshall Karp ! NYPD Red is second novel (one may also call it a sequel) in NYPD Red psychological-thriller-crime-action novel trilogy written by James Patterson in association with Marshall Karp. James Patterson is an American writer and a journalist who wrote many novels and articles and for all of you who maybe did not know- he sold more than 300 million copies of his novels and considering Guinness World Record, he is the most successful bestseller of New York Times. This novel, similar to its predecessor, revolves around NYPD Red, a special task force whose job is to protect celebrities and other rich and famous persons from public life. Main characters are, just as they were in the previous novel, Zach Jordan and Kylie MacDonald, two detectives within NYPD Red who, besides being colleagues, share some mutual past, not just from the previous novel, but from long time ago. After successfully solving the last big case (core plot of the first novel) the two of novel's protagonists become involved in yet another big case of another serial killer that was at large. This novel includes more of the same just as the last one considering the amount of tension, action and thriller. NYPD Red II has received mixed, but mostly positive reviews among readers, with some of them criticizing the author for his lack of new ideas and others praising the author's ability to bring a perfect unification of multi-genre on the bookshelves.

I found myself laughing at times at the quirks of the detectives while still engulfed in the story as I wondered many times where it was going I like the mystery and the evasive suspect. It was evident that alot of research went into the crafting the storyline which is one of the things I appreciate about most of the Patterson books and his co-authors. This particular book really had me wondering how the detectives were going to be able to catch such an unpredictable suspect Gab. I look foward to reading the second book of this series and the new adventure the the NYPD Red will encounter
