Endless miles and asteroids to dodge. Never stopping for too long. To stop meant death. I know, because its happened before. Despite knowing I just wanted to stop and make an end of it, but then everyone would die. I couldn’t allow that so the journey through the stars would have to go on. On until something happened. Something that would change everything. I prayed it would only happen soon or else I might loose my faith, as it was all the other remnants of my people already had. That’s why they were dead and I wasn’t.

Siringo Collins the leader of a worn fleet of survivors, constantly has to fight against the urge to give in to what seems inevitable, their extinction at the hands of an ancient enemy. His fleet of ships is the last of his people that he knows of. They are wanderers through the outer worlds of creation. Vagabonds of space and friends of none, but their own kind. As a people they lost their home long ago. As long as they stay together there is hope that something better might occur one day to change all that has gone terribly wrong for the Melungeons of Soluranami.

Rift Wind is a continuation of a series of western sci-fi novels that feature adventure, action, and faith. Christian Speculative Fiction – learn to love it!

I’m a redeemed ordinary person intent on bringing
my Heavenly Father, pleasure and a return on the
priceless investment that He has made into my life. I’ll never be able to fully repay Him, but my goal is to try and when my time comes to go that I’ll
be caught away in the very act of still trying to do so.

Read my books and you'll learn everything there is to know about me in a way that only several hundred thousand words can do, but in a nutshell I'm imaginative and I love to write and at some point in my busy life I have apparently had a lot of time to do just that.

Taking a departure from the old west theme in previous Wind drifters series books, Guy Stanton III takes us on a trip into deepest outer space, where the test of one’s faith can be brutal, lonely and even deadly. Rift Wind is a dystopian, science fiction with a Christian message in the ancient battle between the forces of light and dark. Wandering homeless and beaten in ships that travel the universe to find a home where they can live their lives the way they were intended. Fighting to maintain their faith, taunted by physical battles, desires of the flesh and failing beliefs, their numbers are dwindling.

Guy Stanton once again, brings his spiritual strengths and ability to create worlds as we have never seen them and blends them together to tell the tale of one man’s struggle to keep his people and his faith alive. Mr. Stanton does not turn his tale into a religious zealot type of read, but there are strong messages that reflect his own beliefs in a power much greater than any human, while demonstrating that even the faithful have weak moments in a universe turning away from following a higher being and living for the moment without thought to their eternal lives. A quick read that adds a touch of science fiction to its message.

I received this copy from Guy Stanton III in exchange for my honest review.

I just reread the entire Wind Drifters series for the fourth or fifth time. I enjoy this series more every time I read it. It’s spectacular creative Christian fiction...this time it’s heroic western science fiction action adventure. There are four wonderful romances in the series also.

It’s written by a young author who obviously needs editorial help. But, that help is hard to find for such intensely Christian content.

Read them all. You won’t regret it.

I was given a copy of "Rift Wind" book five in the Wind Drifter series, by one of my favorite Christian authors, Guy Stanton III, in exchange for an honest review. First let me say that this series is definitely more geared toward male readers. It's a western/sci-fi/dystopian told in the first person by a rough and ready thirty something guy. There is fighting, hand to hand and space ships, hot girls, and a lot of tough talking, as well as a Christian message (I know, but it does work!) Good fiction. Not one of my favorites of the series, but it rounds everything out very well and I liked it. There are quite a few grammar and proofreading errors (like run on sentences) so if that type of thing bothers you, be warned. Most of the time I can read over those things if the story is good enough and with Guy's writing it doesn't bother me so much. In this one I have to subtract a star, just because even I got distracted by the frequency. I give this book three stars. I can recommend for ages 16 and up due to adult content.

Captain Siringo Collins is fighting for survival and losing more of his faith everyday. Siringo knows that his faith strengthen him but lately he's filled with too much despair. He's tired of running. so Siringo boldly steps out in faith that all will be right in this bleak circumstance. How will Siringo gain his faith? Will He find his one true mate? Can the enemy be stopped. Find out in Rift Wind.

Rift Wind like the rest of books in this series are all based on faith in God. I find that I don't mind references about faith and God the way they are presented in this series. The characters are real, humble, honest, compelling, and down to earth. The story is bold, unique, compelling, and honest. I look forward to more work done by this author in the future.

I received this book for an honest review.

Mr. Stanton continues to give us strong characters that are based on prayer, faith in God. He weaves these principles into the story in such a way that isn't preachy or condescending. These principles are intrinsic to the story.

The battle between light and darkness is a continued theme. Rift Wind shows that even strong faith minded believers can be discouraged and filled with despair at times. Mr. Stanton's characters are not flawless but base their lives on the Creator. His stories are unique, well written and pulls you into the story from the beginning and doesn't let you go until the last page.

I highly recommend Rift Wind and look forward to reading more of Mr. Stanton's writings!
