I can finally release the breath I’d been holding since I started on the first page. Whewwwww! This is how you close out a series. This was definitely good and had me on edge and shocked, excited, apply, clapping, and everything in between. I’m so excited to know we are getting more books from this family. All demons end up in hell and this one was no different 😂😂 Zuri come to the front sis I just know you knew it’d be this way. I’m glad Brit was able to move forward. Poor Kadeem he was heartbroken Zuri messed him up but revenge is sweet. I’m glad Tati and Seem finally get what they’ve always needed and wanted..each other and a family.
KADEEM MUTHAFREAKING CARTER. The king. The head man in charge. The man who had been sitting back and letting everybody else do what they were going to do for the past three books. But baby...Kadeem is really THAT man! Book 4 was nothing but drama, secrets, revelations, and people finally having to deal with the consequences of what they thought they could keep hidden. Because if the saying “what you do in the dark eventually comes to light” was a book, it would absolutely be Forced Matrimony to an Unhinged Menace 1-4. 😂 And Zuri? Girl. You PISSED ME OFF. She really thought she had Kadeem fooled, and ma'am... Kadeem is not dumb. Watching everything unfold had me sitting there like, “Oh, so THIS is what we're doing?” 😂 I honestly didn't feel bad for Zuri. I understood that she was operating from fear and trying to protect herself, but the choices she made had consequences for other people too. And the person I really felt bad for was Demonate. That man was HURT and as the story continued, I could understand why he felt the way he did and why he ultimately made the decisions he made. By the end of all four books, I can't even sit here and say I blame him. I may not agree with everything, but I understood him. And the Carter boys? Chile. They are NOT to be played with. 😂 Demon needed to understand that sometimes you simply cannot compete where you cannot compare. I felt bad for him because he was clearly spiraling, but baby... that man was ONE MORE SECRET away from completely losing it. Meanwhile, Kaseem had Demon so stressed that when Nisha spoke to him, he hit her with a whole: “Yeah, bitch.” I screamed. 😂 Sir needed somebody to turn his volume down! Namier was another one who had me laughing because WHY DO YOU PLAY SO MUCH?! These people are dealing with serious business and Namier is somewhere being Namier. 😂 And then we have Tatti. Ma'am. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL THE TRUTH TWO BOOKS AGO?! I was getting so frustrated with her that I almost wanted to DNF the book. I cannot handle characters who have the information that could prevent an entire disaster and just... don't say anything. 😭 But I will give Kaseem his credit because as badly as he wanted to lose it, his love for Tatti was obvious. That man was fighting between his anger and how much he loved her, and I definitely felt that. Nyla was a real one, and I also loved Zaire being the voice of reason. Mr. Anti-Love himself was out here making sense when everybody else was losing their minds. 😂 And BABY... When Kadeem lunged across that room to get to Zuri? I JUMPED. Why did it feel like I was standing in the room watching everything happen?! Then Ben finally revealed his truth and... MY MOUTH DROPPED. Because WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! Bonnie... WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! 😭😂 And THAT is what I loved about this book. I genuinely expected this series to end with everybody somehow finding a way to coexist and everything being wrapped up in a nice, predictable bow. Bonnie said: Absolutely not. And honestly? I LOVE IT. That ending threw me completely off, but I wasn't mad about it AT ALL. It wasn't the cliché ending I expected, and I actually appreciated that Bonnie allowed the story and the characters to go somewhere I wasn't prepared for. After reading all four books, I can honestly say I understand Demonate more than I did before, and I have so much more appreciation for how everything unfolded. This series has given me drama, secrets, romance, unhinged characters, betrayal, emotional moments, and enough chaos to keep me turning pages. Bonnie Blanco...YOU REALLY THREW ME FOR A LOOP. I did NOT see that coming and I loved every minute of being surprised. Now excuse me while I go sit somewhere and process these Carter boys because chile... they ain't nothing to play with. 😂

Secrets only stay hidden for so long until they are done hiding. Lies can cause issues that you can’t get or take back. Telling one lie only led to another and then another. Trying to remember a lie takes up more mental space than it does telling the truth. We all know what assuming does. Something real is hard to find. A heart knows what it wants and sometime there no fighting it. Though some things are better left unsaid, the truth will always set you free.
Love the relationship Tatti had with Nariyah. The hard conversations between Zuri and Demon were needed and heart felt. Kaseem, Zaire & Namier “My Brother Keeper” mentality is top tier. The truth will always set you free. Love the way Kaseem handled the situations that occurred. Tatti conversation with Nyla was needed and the way she checks her about her actions was exactly how a friend should be able to address each other. Glad that Tatti and Kaseem were able to move forward as I was worried. Mallory honestly got what she deserved as being a scorned woman was her downfall. Demon assumptions were his downfall. Nariyah was the sweetest little girl. Zaire may be quiet, but he is not the one to play with. Loved the moment when River and Zaire meet. Yeah, another Namier & Nyla. Kadeem didn’t deserve what he experienced. Loved to see Kadeem in action as well as the 3 Carter sons. Though Zuri is who she is, that didn’t hold against the pain she caused her family.
I was sitting at the edge of seat the entire read cause of the drama and mess that was within this read from the hard conversation, the truth and the business that needed to be handled. Tatti & Kaseem is still my favorite couple, however, my man my man my man is Zaire. Him needs a little love and tenderness as well. As for Zuri, where did she disappear too and what does she have up her sleeve. I know there is more to come from her, and I am here for it. This was an amazing, attention grabber and page turner read from book 1-4. One thing Bonnie is going to give you is a messy, edge pulling good time.
Zaire book is the one that I am waiting on and can’t wait for that to release. One thing about me, if Bonnie writing it, know that I am READING it.
Now this was finale and it was wrapped up in a little bow! Secretly I was rooting for Demon to be accepted by his brothers. I knew it was a long shot but people can dream lol. Zuri’s infidelity did this. Instead of telling her husband, the truth, she severed ties with the Brick Boyz. Kadeem couldn’t forgive her for the betrayal.
Tatti bout time you came clean!!! I feel like you only held Zuri’s secret because you didn’t want yours to come out. Kaseem would’ve accepted! I’m glad you were able to get your baby girl back! Baby girl took that news so well and had me teared down when she accepted you. Kids always know; baby girl knew you were her mom! I’m also glad that Tyree was there for you and left your trifling mama!! she put you through hell for no reason. Also glad that Nyriah and Tyriel can grow up close.
Nyla and Namier are too funny! Namier and Kaseem know how to piss Zaire off being soft. He was thoroughly disgusted with his lovesick brothers. But have no worries. He will be like that very soon with River lol!
This book is a great ending(?) to this story. As a reader you get answers to all the big questions lingering from the first three books. Which feels really good; it feels like closure. But the author does a good job of setting up the next questions and setting the scene for the next story.
Throughout the series, we get some good growth from the FMC and MMC. They started as enemies/strangers and ended with a really lovely relationship. One thing that sits poorly with me is how mothers are generally portrayed in this world/family. Just about every mother in this world is shown very negatively. I don’t think that is necessarily a strike against the book but it stands out as you read the series.
I’m excited for the next book. And I’m hopeful the author will find a way to come back to Zuri’s story because I’m so curious about she moves forward from here.
I wasn’t sure I was going to read this after the disrespect of my time with the last book. This series could have and should have been a two book series. Anything else I read from this author if I read anything had to be completed. Dragging stories out take away from how good the story is. This book was great. The complete story was great. The way it was broken down and stretched was not great. Please care about your readers more than the number of books put out. We are here to support. We love to read. If you put out good things we gonna read every last one but you will lose readers and recommendations from dragging stories. I enjoyed this for what it was worth but I wouldn’t recommend. My sister quit on the 2nd book. Slow burn is character development and world building not repetitive thoughts recycled in different ways. I hope this feedback is received in a positive way.
Whew. We have reached the Finale and baby? Any question you needed answered, was answered. Where do we start? Can we all agree that Zuri MF Carter started everything that was wrong in this series? She called that meeting off and Brick Boyz and the Carter boys been at war ever since.
I understand Demon was a DEMON… but I kinda had a soft spot for him as the chapter went on. He was really just a child at heart who wanted parents who loved him Before I forget… Zaire is UP NEXT! & Tatti & Kaseem will be back! I cannot wait because I need Zaire to break his “I’m never falling in love” promise. I can’t wait to read about how him and River’s relationship started and blossomed.
Favorite scene was the “talk”. Baby girl already knowing in her heart who her mama was made me cry so much!
I am so in love with The Carter's. They are fine, ruthless, unhinged made me who don't play about each other or the people they love. This series is definitely what that is!
Zuri, Zuri, Zuri....Boss Lady ain't no joke. She is just as ruthless and unhinged as her sons. Miss ma'am is definitely coming back and it's not going to be pretty. I can't wait to see how it unfolds.
Kadeem was hurt beyond anything he could have imagined. He loved Zuri to no end, but the betrayal cut deep. He's heartbroken and broken at the same time. I'm not sure how things are going to play out, but I feel like Zuri may be coming for him.
Finally Zaire is up next, and I am on pins and needles waiting. This series is everything!!!!
Ok my want to see what happens last outweighed me wanting to cut ties after book 3. I like arranged plots but i just felt like the timeline, the lack of thereof got lost a lot of times, highly repetitive (miss chat perhaps 👁️). Tatti and that secret lasted long like a Tyler Perry show. Honestly i really thought Tatti character was just a tad bit smarter and would have been had her aunts head on a swivel. Kadeem well unfortunate however i wonder if he really didn’t set up Tatti like she thought.. Zuri let me guess planning get back on her sons? One start for babygurl, one start for Kaseem due to his character growth, 1/2 for the illustrations not changing faces & having more than one limb. I’ll just use my imagination about what happens with Z and R
Wow just wowwwwwwww. What a read!!! First off I don't know what Zuri thought was gone happen with Demon but for her to think her other boys and her husband was going to let him live is crazy. I kinda understand how she felt about trying to choose between them but she also had to realize he had so much hate in his heart for them that I believed what he said about no matter what he was gone continue coming after them so I felt like Kassem, Nahier, and Zaire did what they had to do. For Zuri to go completely off the grid is crazy and I pray she's not planning nothing crazy. On a good note happy that Tatti, Kassem, Nariyah, and the new baby would be living happily ever after. I can't wait to read about Zaire because I know he's going to be interesting.
I loved every bit of Tatti and Kaseem! The twist the turns, the love they share is undeniable. I loved how accepting Kaseem was of Nariyah, and Zuri honeyyy that did not play out how I expected! Kadeem did his big one on that and I’d be watching my back the way she disappeared. Ate this book up in 2 hours, and I am now sad it’s over. Bonnie you did that, I do wish the books were longer I love a good 3/400 page book. Not complaining because the story still did what needed to be done in 200 pages. I guess I’ll just go have to reread this series AGAIN lmao until Zaire’s story comes out
I love this. Everyone got handle and Zuri's tears meant nothing. The harsh words and authoritative tone couldn't help her request. Tatti and Kaseem were going through their biggest fight....with one another. Everyone was facing dilemmas and decisions that had consequences. Everyone! Bonnie put it all together here and the flow is phenomenal. Nyriah is the cutest, smartest, eight year old. Yes, my stress was up because there were plenty of stressful moments and no sleeps getting work done here. Thank you Bonnie and I can't wait for Zaire's story next. Zuri bet not be plotting cause Kadeem already showed he'll do it. Did I say this is a Great Read!!
such a great ending to this book ugh. I genuinely loved this finale. I love how everything came out and I can’t believe for the first time in a series I sided with a man lol. Kaseem is a good husband and Tati just needed to learn the truth will get you further than a lie. I loved how he forgave her though and understood she wasn’t being a snake, genuinely just scared of what he would say. I loved this finale. Got a feeling Zuri is going to be back and cause some havoc, also. ZAIRE & RIVER? I need Zaire to be so down bad for this lady because the way he talks about his brothers i just know he’s about to be the biggest simp 😂
It ended fast to say it went so slow. Don’t tell me Zuri somewhere plotting bcuz as much as he probably hated her, idk if Kadeem would’ve killed her. I kinda feel sorry for Demon but he should’ve just took that L once he learned the truth. But he still had malice for the folks that did him nothing. He could’ve had a chance for him and Zuri to run off and attempt to make something of a mother/son relationship but oh well!!!! Now he really is his Daddy’s son…
Bonnie, Bonnie, Bonnie!! You wrote the mess out of this book, really the whole series!! I keep telling my book friends/followers to hop on because they are missing out on this series! I need to know where the heck is Zuri. I feel bad for her, even though she caused the mess. It wasn’t all her of her fault. Will she come back or take revenge? And Zarie, the title of the book, I love!
Yesssss Bonnie girl you did that your thang this series was so good I hate what zuri did but I feel sorry for demon cause he didn’t ask for the life he had he had ruff childhood I want her husband to take him in cause I felt bad for him I wonder where zuri went. I’m so happy tatti got her daughter she deserves to have her daughter her aunt uncle and mom were horrible. I’m ready for Zaire now
Forced matrimony with an unhinged Menace 4: A toxic arranged marriage
All secrets were revealed and all enemies were deleted from the now. I never would've thought senior would find and kill his best friend from twenty seven years ago, and killed his son. What did his wife really think was going to happen? If they would have found a good family to adopt, I think things would've turned out better.
Part 4 was worth the wait!!! Omg Bonnie girl this book was everything. Tati I loved her because she stood on big business. Zuri girl she was a hot mess! Now where is she cuz baby you caused all this mess and left. Kaseem he got on my nerves because his attitude was going to be the reason he loss her. Over all I this book was worth it and I would read this series again
I can’t wait for Zaire’s story! I hope Zuri is okay. This book took me through it… you hear me!!! I was nervous for the Carter men. I’m glad things worked out in their favor. I bet Tatti learned some valuable lessons. Don’t omit information girl!! Sheesh. I’m just happy for her and Kaseem. I feel for Kadeem though.
Ms. Bonnie wrote the hell out this series!! But this finale will have you side eyeing everybody!!! When she said questions would be answered!!! Yess she did that! I loved how she wrapped up Kasseem and Tati!! I cant wait to read about them in whats next to come!! Shout out to Dallas Ft. Worth she put us on the map!!!
Bonnie Blanco had me at work - glued to this book, dayum that job. With all the secrets coming out and coming out fast! This was a roller coaster ride. My girl no matter what she does wrong will always get an attitude with her man , he will always put her in her l lace and love on her at the same time. Well worth the read
There was so much packed into this book. All I can say is that Kadeem and Kaseem are not to played with. Keep your pen handy because the dots and the connections are connecting. Kaseem is the realest through and through. Kadeem and the brothers were steady. It’s sooo good but I’m not giving up any spoilers. Bonnie Blanco did her BIG one! It was a page turner from the beginning to the end.
This was a good series. I’m glad everything finally came out. Sad how Zuri kept a secret for all those years which could have avoided the war between her sons from the get go. Glad Kaseem and Tatti got it together. Tatti was wrong for hiding so much from Kaseem. Everything worked out in the end though. I can’t wait for River and Zaire’s love story next.
What a great ending to a great a series these Carter's we are in for a world of trouble. I cried, laughed and high five my phone. Honestly this book seemed like just the beginning. I dont what's about to happen but its gonna be big. Thank Tatti and Kaseem got it together. looking forward to the next installment of the Carter's. Bravo! 🫶🏾
This was a great ending to this series. My heart feels settled after all the drama. I am worried about the mama. It did hurt me that the parent are divorcing, but I can’t blame Kadeem🤷🏽♀️. Now, I do think it’s crazy how they let that lady watch them kill her son… just insane. Then think she’s going to answer the phone got yall 🙃… anyway, I will be back when Zaire’s series drops.

Loved the ending and I’m sure old mama zuri will show up on some evil shit smh and ten to one she working with Zaire enemies, but who’s to say I’m just gonna hope it comes soon cause all these men are my book bae, great job Ms Blanco way to turn up and do you with that pen. ☺️☺️☺️
Can this pen get any hotter? I absolutely loved book 4 and I knew she would bring it. The betrayal, suspense, action, love, revenge I wanted every minute of it. So many head turning scenes trying to guess the ending lol. I’m so glad I discovered this author. I’m rolling till the wheels fall off.
I loved this book. It was so well written I was shedding tears laughing out loud mad as a MF. When your that invested you know it was good. Waiting for the book to come out. I never write reviews and I read at least 3 books a week. This one will stay on the Kindle as a favorite. I enjoyed you book…congratulations
Loved the series but Tattiana's mama got off to easy!
I can say everything came together in this novel! Actually it was sad how things turned out with Demontae! Zuri just left but I have a feeling not for long! Tati's mama got off too easy! I was so happy for Baby girl! I know we will see them again and I can't wait!
Bonnie! The series was the bomb, 10/10 definitely recommend to anyone looking to enjoy the ride. Thank you for pouring into your books, giving us the thrill of the chase even when things were rough. We love you Bonnie & can't wait to see Zaire fall hard.
