In the 1980s, a young boy named Ivan moves into one of the floors with his family and life in the building takes on a completely different hue.

I woke up crying and prayed for the recent North Korean soldier defector, then I read this book and cried again. There's something evocative about how the book is drawn, and because my Spanish isn't the best, I had to concentrate on each word. Now I feel kind of happy/sad.
