This book had me in a chokehold right away and I WAS INVESTED!

THAT TWIST!! I had my suspicions but OMGG I still was freaking out over it.

GIANA DARLING!!!! you're truly the most talented, brilliant, smart, genius author to ever exist!!!!!!! HOW in the hell do you keep surprising me this way? Forsaking All Others had me SPIRALING and going through the mindfuck of my lifeee!!!!! it was unlike anything i’ve read!!! SO insanely unhinged and one of the wildest rides EVER. you know the book was crazy when you feel sick by the end🤣 i truly went through it with this one HAHAHA🤯😭

to be honest, i don't know how to write this review(brain dump) SO much happened in this book🤯 there's so many plot twists and even tho sometimes i had my theories, there was SO much i didn't see coming and i don't want to give anything away!!!! i will say tho... once again, Giana Darling writes, hands down, the BEST mafia romances!!!! they're truly masterpieces and Forsaking All Others was no exception🤌🏻

now... Fiametta & Dario👀😮‍💨 were spectacular, exquisite, powerful, unhinged and unforgettable!!!! i'm gonna think about them and their love story for very a long time!! they were TOO hot and Giana KILLED it with the spice in this one. BEYOND filthy, i'm telling you🥵 the found family, as always in every GD book, will have you emotional!!! and shout out to the BEST boy, the best dog ever, Cerberus!!! his protectiveness and love for Fia had me in SHAMBLES😭♥️

When you live in the mafia world your choices aren’t always your own. Mob princess Fiametta Cavallaro is arranged to be wed to the Chicago outlets leader, Dario Ferretti. She thought she would be wed to a man she was being courted by but her father in the end chose the American mafia don. Now, with a stranger in a foreign land she must become the his Queen. Dario is definitely the villain towards the beginning of this and disappears from his new wife’s life for a whole year & then another four years from then their story really begins. I do wish there was more of a connection in the beginning or banter to show a growing enemies to lovers relationship between them however, it starts around 35-38% for them to actually fully interact. There is also a reason for this “non connection” once you get to the twist (which I guessed one of them) then you will understand the beginning part. There are twists, v|olence, stubborn characters and in this underground world you never know who truly to trust. Told in first person and dual POV.

Expect twists, violence, stubborn-as-hell characters, and an underworld where you never know who to trust. I loved spotting the cameos from Giana's other books!
This one had me SPIRALING, and after that epilogue I need MORE. 😭

It comes to an explosive end and epilogue is extra cherry on top.
Characters are stark and raw in their villainy. Dario's world is full of dark murky dealings so he's closed off as a result. Up until 30% we don't see him much. Fiamatta's arc takes the biggest spike. From innocent girl to thinking beyond her years, forming alliances, cultivating friendships, she cleverly navigates her new world. carla and Lando are....There!! I won't say much.
The secret is...phew!! Mind-blowing indeed.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. SO MUCH. ❤️‍🔥

I mean, I knew I would love it. It’s Gianna Darling. I absolutely adore her writing, her stories, her characters… EVERYTHING. So I went into this book with pretty high expectations, and I was NOT disappointed.

But I have to say, Gianna had me questioning EVERYTHING at first. 😂

I immediately recognized her writing, but something felt different this time. Especially when it came to the romance. And I kept thinking, Wait a minute… Gianna, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WHERE ARE YOU GOING WITH THIS?!

I could tell there was something more going on, something I hadn’t quite figured out yet, and I was DESPERATE to know what it was.

AND I LOVED IT.

There’s something so addictive about a story that keeps you guessing, constantly trying to piece everything together. I had SO MANY theories, and while I did manage to figure out some of the twists, it didn’t take away from my enjoyment AT ALL. I still loved every single reveal.

And then… THEN.

Something shifts. The romance takes a completely different turn, and OH MY GOD. THAT WAS EVERYTHING I WANTED. 😭❤️

And can we talk about Gianna’s MMCs for a second?! Because HOW DOES SHE DO IT?!

The obsession. The devotion. The way these men LOVE. I’m absolutely WEAK for them, and this one was no exception. I was completely, utterly obsessed with him.

And our FMC?! Strong, independent, fiercely loyal, and absolutely amazing. Exactly the kind of woman Gianna knows how to write so well.

But here’s the thing…

I don’t think I’ve ever finished one of her books feeling quite like THIS.

I was happy. I was devastated. I was UNWELL.

I wanted something to happen, but at the same time, I desperately DIDN’T want it to happen. DOES THAT EVEN MAKE SENSE?! 😭

I can’t explain it without spoiling anything, and I really don’t want to, because I think going into this story without knowing too much is part of what makes it so good.

But WHAT A BOOK.

An addictive mafia romance with incredible characters, an intriguing storyline, twists and turns, betrayal, obsession, spice, and SO MUCH LOVE.

I loved the characters. I loved the story. I loved the romance. I loved EVERYTHING.

Gianna Darling has done it again, and I honestly cannot recommend this book enough.

And PLEASE, I need more stories set in this world. I’m nowhere near ready to leave it. ❤️

📖 Dual first-person POV

This book was so PHENOMENAL, it’s now tied for first for my favourite Giana Darling book and one of my favourite reads of the year (and in a long time)!! I had to sit and process it for a whole business day lol

I don't think I've ever highlighted so many things in a book before; the story, the characters, the flow... everything was just so good, PERFECTION in my eyes. Fia is one of my favourite FMCs of all time. One of the things I loved was her character and her development. She doesn't change how she is for a man, she does it so she can be strong in their world, I love how she becomes the woman she wants to be. Some of my favourite romantic moments were when Fia brought her man to different places so he could experience things he missed out on as a child, gah it was just so cute! Giana really did her bring one with that, creating such an iconic character. Of course I also loved Dario, his character and his obsession with Fia. Not going to lie, I started really liking him a lot earlier than I should have... so after his growth, feelings developing, the obsession and possessiveness, I loved him even more. It really touched my lil heart towards the end when we really see how much he truly cares for those around him. And the spice between the two of them? Hot AF !!

As always, there’s an amazing found family dynamic as well, with a few cameos from other stories as well, which I loved seeing!

I don’t want to say too much about the twists, but I was gagged. I had my suspicions, but the way it was revealed had my jaw on the floor.

The last couple of chapters really hurt my lil heart - there was even one part that was almost as sad as After the Fall. The special connection the main characters had with each other as they fought to survive and win tugged at my heartstrings 🥹

This book was addictive, captivating, steamy, emotional and absolutely phenomenal!

SCREAMIN!!! my heart is hearting, my head is reeling.. i am completely blown away by how captivating this story was written! plot twists, after twists, after twists that never seem to end, even after it ended! at this point within a days time, i don’t know if I devoured this book or it devoured me!

my heart is physically in pain just thinking about how the story is over and i’m left here trying to write a review that would do this book justice cause WOW. i got chills just thinking about it. i feel like a reread is a must to try to catch the full story in another light. i think this calls for a reread stat!

there’s just so much i want to share but all i can say is going in blind is the best reading experience you could give yourself! brace yourself for a wild ride!

While I caught on to the major twist pretty early on, there were like eight more that had my jaw on the floor as this book continued. It was such a wild ride. I absolutely adored Fia too, she was strong and smart with just enough recklessness to make her one bad a m f and I couldn't get enough.

I know you're still reading and you want more... but honestly, just go read it, especially if you love a good arranged marriage, v heroine, mafia romance. It's my favorite I've read in a long, long time.

The audio was perfect too if that's your sorta thing. Rose Dioro and Sean Masters were incredible with bringing these characters to life and I loved this listen. Thank you so much Giana for the advanced copy!

I truly don't know how to function after finishing this. The whirlwind and whiplash of emotions is unexplainable, in the best way.

I haven't been surprised by a plot twist in a long time; I was genuinely shocked. Now, I need to go back and put the pieces together. 🤔🧐

Fia might be one of my favorite GD women. I loved her so much and the time jumps really complimented her character growth.

Dario was broken and complicated and left me heartbroken at points. I hated him, I loved him. He was so many things. I have so many more thoughts about the MMC, that I can't share here.

I fear I'm never getting over this. Please, go experience this book when it comes out. 🥹😭

This book hooked me immediately and kept me locked in the entire time. This was the fastest I've finished a book in a while. Now things you should prepare for when reading this book. Everything, you should prepare for every freaking thing and to be blindsided several times. Then just when you think you can't be blindsided again, surprise you can. The twists and turns in this book were wild and I loved every second of it. Fiametta might just have one of my favorite character arcs I've read in a while. Where she start and where she ended is brilliant. This book is easily one of my favorite reads of the year. If you want a read with equally obsessed main characters as well as perfectly unhinged you need this one in your life. There isn't a single boring moment in it!

Omg this book was absolutely AMAZING!!! I fucking loveeee when Giana writes mafia. They always hit the spot but this one?! I dunno.. something about it was different in the best way possible!! I’ll have to sit with my thoughts more, but it quite possibly might be my new favorite from her knocking the Anti heroes in love duet out of first place for me 👀

The twist in this one?! Absolutely diabolical!! lol. Like what do you mean?! And then another twist towards the end.. seriously so good!

If you’re a fan of unhinged mafia romances with a seriously badass FMC then I highly recommend you check this one out when it releases on November 10th!

I cannot wait for more in this world! And just more mafia from Giana in general!

Forsaking All Others has got to be in my top 5 favorite reads of the years. This book shattered me in the best way possible and I truly did not want it to end. From the very beginning to the very last page I wondered what was going to happen next. Fia’s character development throughout this story is astounding and mind-blowing & props to her cause I could not live the life she lived. Dario. That’s all I’m gonna say about him because what a twist he brings but holy hell. This entire book had my heart pumping, the spice was spicing and the twists & turns were unreal! Absolute 5 star read from me from one of my favorite’s Giana Darling.

Fiametta. A young lady becoming a woman. Fully expecting an arranged marriage. It’s the mafia way… but she didn’t bet on him…

Dario. 15 years her senior. He was never getting married. Until it became part of his being of head of the Chicago family.

I don’t want to say much. Go in blind but for what I wrote above.

This book took me by surprise. I always love Giana. Always. Every book. This may be one of the very best books I’ve ever read. I was so invested.

Best of 2026. Best of ever shelves here we come.

Could not recommend more. Go read this.

I have NO idea how to start this review because these plot twists are EVERYTHING!! Giana never disappoints. PLUSSSS it’s set in my home city: Chicago. The spice in this book was delicious. The plot, a masterpiece. I don’t know how she does it but I’m hooked within the first few pages whenever I open one of her books.

The book comes out November 10th. Y’all better be running to get a copy and be prepared to be consumed by this world!

This was FUN to read! Forsaking All Others was a mafia romance that had so many twists and turns, my head was hurting a bit. Dario and Fiammetta went through so much together to get to their HEA.

One or two of this twists were predictable, but seeing everything play out reiterates why Giana’s mafia books are solid reads for me. The book read like a movie, and I’ll probably reread it so I can pick up on the rest of breadcrumbs I’m sure I overlooked!

This book was sooooo good! Wow! From arranged marriage to so many secrets it was hard to keep up. I loved Ghost, and what they meant to each other. I loved how much Fia grew in this book. I wanted more, and loved how she took control of her life. It was a nail biting book. That ending though… that was everything.
