This reader uses the EXPANSIVE READING approach, where the text becomes a springboard to improve language skills and to explore historical background, cultural connections and other topics suggested by the text. As well as the story, recorded in British and American English, this reader contains: • An introduction about Oscar Wilde's life and times • A wide range of activities practising the four skills • Dossiers: Oscar Wilde in America and Ghosts• Internet projects • PET-style activities and Trinity-style activities (Grade 5) • An audio CD/CD-ROM with a full recording of the text and a variety of activities and games for further practice • A playscript and an exit test with answer key
Libro breve e semplificato (soprattutto per i studenti); nonostante questo l’ho trovato carino, anche se preferisco altro di Oscar Wilde. Devo leggere il libro completo, assolutamente
You can have your secret as long as I have your heart.
4/5
I had to read this for class and did not expect a story as funny and sweet as this one. The way Wilde parodies the victorian ghost story is delightfull and I can only recommend this for anyone interested in a gentle horror story.
