I just love friends to lovers stories!! Add in a spectacular location and some steamy sex and you've got Ignite! I loved Natalie and Sebastian together! They've known each other since they went to University and have remained close ever since. Sebastian comes to her one night in need of a pretend wife for a business deal and he asks her to come to Thailand with him. She has crushed on Sebastian for what seems like forever, so decides she has to go and will deal with the disappointment that is sure to follow later. What she doesn't know is he is looking forward to spending a vacation with her just as much!

Ignite is a quick, playful, and sexy read! It fits well in-between those long novels or a fun read on the beach! The writing was spot on and you could feel their chemistry! I really enjoyed reading it and will look for more to read from Kait Gamble!

Nat and Sebastian have known each other for a while and both have a crush on each other, but haven't done anything about it... until he thinks he needs a wife to seal a business deal.

As with the first story in this series, I was a bit let down with how each everything came together and simple things seemed to go. I really felt like the hidden feelings of longing and desire to act upon them could've been played up a bit more or the 'faking' it for the couple they were trying to impress would've helped.

However, I think it was a pretty good, sweet love story.

With a gorgeous setting and fun characters, IGNITE is a short novella that is long on passion.

Natalie Carter has had THE biggest crush on her friend Sebastian forever, but he put her in the friend zone back in college, and there she's stayed. Now Sebastian needs Natalie's help to land a major job…she'll need to pretend to be his wife as the men negotiate in Thailand. Natalie can't say no to Thailand…oh who is she kidding, she can't say no to Sebastian. But the sultry air and tropical setting affects them both, and soon they find themselves playing house for real. But all good things must come to an end...right?

IGNITE is the 2nd book in the Long Way Round Series and can be read as a standalone novella. I didn't have the fortune to read the first book in this series but that didn't hinder my enjoyment of IGNITE whatsoever. There wasn't anything overtly spectacular about this book; however it was well written and very sexy. Natalie and Sebastian had terrific chemistry and I really liked them together. The couple was believable as newlyweds, and you can't help but root for Sebastian to "come around" and finally see Natalie the way she's seen him for so long. The sex in IGNITE definitely was a danger to the temperature of my kindle, WHEW! While there was nothing overtly kinky or even super wild, the passion between Natalie and Sebastian lit up the pages. I'll be checking out other offerings in this series by Ms. Gamble!

Bottom Line: Short but steamy read that may have you daydreaming of "THAT GUY" in college and what might have been. - See more at: http://erotic.theromancereviews.com/v...

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

The friends-to-lovers trope has been used and abused throughout time. It's one of my favorite trope, actually. There's been some books on this trope that I didn't quite like, but a lot of my favorites seem to be about two friends falling in love.

Kait Gamble's Ignite is a fast, easy read about two people who were secretly in love with each other but felt like they weren't good enough for the other person. Frustrating, I know. However, their journey to love was hot, entertaining, and fun to read, so I have no complaints.

Thw whole line was crossed the moment Sebastian asked Natalie to travel to Thailand with him and pretend to be his wife just to impress a prospective business partner. Of course, Natalie agreed easily because well, it's a free vacation and she can cozy up to the man she's been in love with for years. Little does she know, Sebastian was also looking forward to being with her as much as she wanted to be with him.

I think that what I liked about this story was that it was short. I finished it in a couple of hours. There wasn't any complications at all. It was a simple story of two people being in love with each other but needed time alone together to figure out they they both felt the same way.

Ignite is not a perfect book. However, it gave me the escape and the entertainment that I wanted to achieve and accomplished all that in just a short time. For that alone, I am going to give this book a good rating. Also, Kait Gamble does a good job of laying out a satisfying story in just a limited amount of words. That's not a small accomplishment at all.

The friends to lovers trope is one of my favorite – something I never get tired of. That is the theme within this story and I absolutely adored Natalie and Sebastian together! As college friends, they know each other really well. When Sebastian needs a pretend wife for a business trip he asked Natalie to join him in Thailand. Natalie has always had feelings for Sebastian and is looking forward to being with him at the exotic resort. But, she doesn’t realized that he is looking forward to being with her just as much as she is with him.
This was a sweet, fun-loving, story about two friends who turn into more. It was a quick read that too an hour in the afternoon – something I enjoy doing on the weekends. Natalie and Sebastian had great chemistry and the writing was great. Overall, it was a good story that I really enjoyed.
