Your body has potential. Noble Industries simply knows how to improve it.
Human livestock has already transformed agriculture. Now advances in medical engineering have made entirely new forms of production possible.
Laying facilities are expanding rapidly. Wool stock provides a renewable alternative to traditional fibres. And bodies once considered excessive can now be cultivated into valuable agricultural resources.
An Easy Guide to Human Husbandry: Volume II presents three state-approved case studies from the expanding human-livestock industry.
A young couple enter one of Noble Industries’ newest programmes, where experimental procedures promise to turn human biology into a reliable source of egg production.
A man assigned to wool production learns that life among the flock can provide comfort, companionship and excellent care, even when the body beneath the fleece no longer resembles the one he arrived with.
And Ez enters an adipose-production programme where gaining weight is no longer treated as failure. Under controlled conditions, every kilogram increases his value, his purpose and the profitability of the stock he is becoming.
Each subject enters for a different reason. Each undergoes careful assessment, conditioning and physical alteration. Each discovers that humane treatment and personal freedom are not necessarily the same thing.
Presented in the style of an official agricultural handbook, this dark dystopian science-fiction anthology explores bodily transformation, medical experimentation, commodification, identity, institutional care and the unsettling possibilities created when human biology becomes an agricultural resource.
This is not a romance. Intended for adult readers, this book contains explicit dark erotic content, extreme body transformation, body horror, reproductive modification, dehumanisation, bodily functions, weight gain and compromised consent.
All production targets remain within approved limits. All livestock receives appropriate care.
Unlike Vol 1 when we saw the begining of Noble Farms and Human Husbandry we now see three stories of different walks of life and why people decide to do this. Some good and some treats not good at all! This is some amazing body horror at its finest! Cannot wait for Vol. 3.
Somehow even better than the first! In this volume, Noble Farms is far more established, with several programs, and rapidly encroaching into every day life. We follow three people, learn their motivations for joining their respective programs, and what they experience behind the closed facility doors.
I especially found the last section very interesting as we finally see the not so glamorous side of Noble Farms. We get a glimpse of the disparity in treatment in different programs, with some reducing their "volunteers" to objects, not even worthy of having names or basic human rights.
Hopefully we'll get more world building, and perhaps more behind the scenes of the operations of Noble Farms in the next books, super excited!
