“Remember whose daughter you are.”

Those words should bring Zoe comfort, but they lose their meaning the longer she remains a captive. After a forced second Blessing ceremony exposes her deepest secret, Zoe is taken, and she wakes to a nightmare. Abandoned by the men and Goddess sworn to protect her, she becomes a pawn in a political agenda she never asked to be a part of.

Beneath the orderly surface of Kestia, corruption runs deep. The government is compromised, the church is rotting from the head down, and the realm’s most revered designation is being used as bargaining chips and considered little more than property.

Zoe is burdened with the truth and knows she cannot save the realm alone, but how can she rally the allies she needs when she is forced to her knees at the mercy of a demagogue?

⭐ 5/5 - (I had the time of my life)
🌶 4/5 - (Explicit open door)

Thank you Holly for an arc. All thoughts and tears shed during this read are my own.

Holly Monroe has done it again! Not that we should be surprised at all. I was so excited for this duet because I love Holly's fantasy books and really wish she did more of them. Seeing her put fantasy and OV together was amazing and I hope to see her do it more often. This book is such a satisfying ending to our Garnet Omega duet. She had me worried about 75%-80% in that I was going to have to yell at her but as always, she made up for all the heartbreak she caused. These characters GO THROUGH IT but the way Holly handles their trauma and character arcs should be studied. Although we shouldn't have to chose a favorite I do think Dominic and his arc was my favorite to see fold out. Sometimes I get worried about bully romances and how are we going to grovel enough to fix it but I should know by now Holly isn't going to leave us hanging. So even though I'm very biased with my love of Holly, her writing and everything she does I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to see what she writes next.

🌶️🌶️🌶️

I really enjoyed the relationship that developed between the FMC and her three MMCs. Could the groveling have been a little more? Absolutely! 😂 But at least we got some, and I’ll take it!

The conclusion wrapped things up nicely with a HEA and then some. And y’all KNOW I love when the boyfriends start becoming more to each other, too. Give me all the relationship development! 🥵❤️

So why 4 stars instead of 5? At times, the pacing felt a little rushed, and I would’ve loved a bit more time for certain things to unfold. Overall, though, it was an enjoyable conclusion to the duet and a satisfying way to wrap up the story!

Overall would 💯 recommend to lovers of a why choose situationship.

This part 2 was fantastic!! Had me at the edge of my seat with all the drama that unfolded. I gasped, sighed and growled at times while reading about Zoe, Dominic, Cameron, Ray and Cliff.
