An all-new steamy and angsty Ice Hockey Romance from the USA Today & Wall Street Journal bestselling author, Tracy Lorraine.
Calvin Keller. Hockey God. Someone I would definitely remember.
Except… I don’t.
He’s gorgeous, funny, kind, and of course, completely wrong for me.
Professional hockey player with a playboy reputation is the last thing I need.
That doesn’t stop me from wondering if he’s the one who could help me push through the lingering fear of my past. Hell knows he’s got the skills… Or he did before his injury.
These days, Calvin is less party boy and more recluse, hiding away in his apartment.
An apartment I didn’t know was his until I marched upstairs to confront my noisy neighbor.
Instead of the cocky hockey star I expected, I find a man whose sadness calls to me.
Suddenly, I’m helping him heal—and forgetting every reason I swore I’d stay away.
Turns out this isn’t the first time Calvin and I have met.
And the moment I discover why he looks at me with longing, everything starts to make sense.
But an unexpected reunion with a boy from my past doesn’t mean anything.
Tracy Lorraine is a M/F and M/M contemporary romance author. Tracy has just turned thirty and lives in a cute Cotswold village in England with her husband, baby girl and lovable but slightly crazy dog. Having always been a bookaholic with her head stuck in her Kindle Tracy decided to try her hand at a story idea she dreamt up and hasn’t looked back since.
Securing the Pucking Rebound was everything, it brought all the feels. Sienna and Calvin story was absolutely perfect. I just adored these two so much and I honestly couldn’t put this down.
Sienna Wentworth has been a favorite from the first moment she came into this series. She’s is one fierce character. She works very hard for everything she wants. She just moved into a new building and keeping up with all that is happening. She is huge L.A Vipers fan and knows her hockey. Trust isn’t easy for her from past experience. So she’s working hard to give into someone her all.
Calvin ‘Killer’ Keller is the ultimate playboy and one good hockey player. When an injury sidelines him for the season. He is working hard to come back. When he is working late at night in his apartment he meets his new neighbor. Lo and behold his new neighbor is Sienna. The one who he can’t stop thinking about. Especially since they share a past he hasn’t forgotten. She’s the one girl he wants and he will prove to her that he is the best choice.
When a second chance comes knocking Calvin will show Sienna a different side no ones has seen before. He is there when she is sick and takes care of her. When the relationship becomes more you’ll see all he does for her. From cooking dinner, to being there after a long days works. Too even decorating for the holidays. He goes in her pace and he is very patient. They both let each other in little by little. And when secrets are revealed he must let her deal with her feeling her way. All the highs and lows they went through and able to become a couple will make them stronger. The chemistry was unbelievable you couldn’t help but not root for these two. I enjoyed this so much, and I love coming back to this world. And seeing old and new friends from the previous books. It always brings a smile to my face. This had it all hockey, the slow burn, found family and so much more. You’ll be smiling from the beginning to end.
“I can hear you smirking.” “You cannot hear a smirk...” “Sure can..."
This is not believable. They were too young to feel that strongly, too see a future.
The author needs to stop having Sienna reference all the bunnies Calvin could be hooking up with. He has made it clear he is not interested. Let it go and stop reminding him you think he is a player.
Sienna is making too big of deal out of I do not understand why she is so upset. He deserves better.
The use of the word "darlin'" should be cut at least in half. It's way too much.
I don't know the meaning or significance of "d-baby" yet, but I hate it. Never use it again. I also do not care for "Si" or "Sisi," which I first thought was short for sister, but Garrett is not the only one to use that nickname. May we please just eliminate nicknames? It is not difficult to say Sienna.
... I hear my front door close and lock. - how do you hear it lock after someone leaving your apartment? There is no mention of giving someone a key and if there is a lock on the knob, there is nothing to hear.
On page 77, Calvin says to Sienna: “I have two little sisters, darlin’. I know pretty much all the girly movies.” Then on page 169 Sienna asks Calvin if he has any siblings.
You live in a building with a concierge. You do not need to get sweaty making multiple trips. Call and ask for help...or a "trolley." I would say cart.
...I left one of my hoodies...wearing my goddamn name and number. - I have never seen a hoodie with a professional athlete's name and number on it, only a jersey. Maybe this is common where the author lives (in England).
"...I’ve already got ice cream in the fridge..." - I hope it's in the freezer. Otherwise, it's a soupy mess.
...by the time his palm cups my bare breast, my nipples are aching against the heavy fabric of my dress. - If he is cupping you bare, there is no fabric against your nipples.
Multiple times earlier in the book, it says that the
Securing the Pucking Rebound is the perfect balance of family, second chances, and the slow build up to the perfect spice.😏
Calvin Keller, a cocky D man on the ice and off just had a life altering ACL injury and isn't quite feeling like himself since it happened. I mean who would, as his team is on a hot winning streak he has to sit back and watch it all happen from the sidelines. It's not exactly what he planned for his future and to make matters worse, he has nothing to take up his extra time like a lot of his teammates. That is until fate literally knocks on his door.
Sienna Wentworth is on the upward trajectory with her business and life. She just moved into a new apartment, has more business than she can handle and the only thing missing is someone to share it with. Sienna is a relationship girl and she envies what her friends have, especially her best friend Bea. She'd love to go home to a dedicated man, but she has yet to find someone willing to go her speed, which in today's world is just a bit slower. While she envied how Bea threw caution to the wind, met her forever man, and that everything turned out okay, Sienna has never been able to do that and she's afraid that because of her expectations she'll never meet "the one". Who would have ever thought that moving into a new apartment building would increase her chances.
Sienna and Calvin met fifteen years ago, but Sienna didn't recognize him from his preteen youth years. However, Calvin had never forgotten about her.😍❤️ His torch had never been snuffed out for the girl that stole his heart as a pre-teen boy and now the playboy D man is the absolute sweetest guy under his f-boi facade. The way he befriends her, slowly trying to remind her of who he is, was just the most adorable thing ever. Calvin is a guy who knows Sienna is his ever after and he's in it to win it and I adored every moment with him.
The slow burn between these two is absolutely perfect and in the long run he needs someone like her, to ground him, give him back that sense of belonging that he lost so long ago. While he's always had hockey, things change, teams change, etc..., which of course terrifies him to his core. Hence, his extra moodiness at the injury, but he's always had this vision of the future that included her. ❤️ She's his anchor and it's really sweet to see him work so hard for it. Calvin's transformation is A+ amazing!!
I swear, it’s hard to find a book series out there that literally EVERY SINGLE BOOK is good yet Tracy Lorraine has done it with the LA Viper series. Securing The Pucking Rebound is book six, we finally get to Calvin “Killer” Keller’s story and I am telling you, SWOONWORTHY, this man pulls out that Texas drawl and calls her Darlin 🫠 and hello! This is an amazing hockey romance that truly goes soul deep into second chance love so beautifully!
Calvin “Killer” Keller had a torn ACL at the end of the last book and is out the hockey season. Truly trying to find himself and having a hard time dealing with it all. This man is known as the playboy. But he’s so much more down deep. This is a man who is alone, lost the support and love of his family for chasing his dreams. Sienna. I loved this girl! Brought into the amazing found family by her friend Bea, she’s so many things. So kind, caring, loving, the complete opposite of Calvin. She has a wonderful and supportive family. Still dealing with the past trauma of her previous relationship, never truly been loved by a man. These two have met in their circle but don't truly know each other or so she thinks! Little does she know this is the boy she fell for that summer in her young teens on a ranch in Texas even though he remembers everything about her. These two have the best connection, so much chemistry. Their banter is so good. The slow burn and angst is fire. The vulnerability and insecurities these two showed, it was so raw and real to life. And when these two give in, this man’s mouth, his patience in making her feel safe and confident, it’s all perfection. 🥵🔥
Bring in all the guys and their ladies, it is just the perfect found family the way they love and support each other.
This LA Viper world is so freaking good! You will laugh, cry, feel every emotion, feel the passion and just feel so invested in these characters. This one just hit my heart! It was a beautiful second chance romance and Calvin, he is so so swoonworthy!!! Please read this book and series!!!! We have one book left and omg, it is going to be a gooood one!!!
I'm in love with Calvin and Sienna's story and Tracy Lorraine outdid herself with Securing the Picking Rebound. And what's there not to love it. It's the best second chance hockey romance with mistaken identity, forced proximity and the slowest slow burn ever with all the feels. And I loved it. Could never thought that Calvin kept such a tender and loving part of himself hidden from everyone. And only revealed it to Sienna. But those two had a past history that was so sweet and endearing. And it explains Calvin's playboy behavior. Because he already found his girl a long time ago and then they got separated. When they meet again he recognized her immediately but she didn't. And he did everything to get her attention. And it took him to get injured and for her to move so they started talking and getting to know each other again. Let's just say that Sienna was so insistent on keeping away from him and he was so persistent in pursuing her. And they were like their teen selves again going on those dates. And Calvin taking care of Sienna when she was sick was so swoony. I loved it that they both kept reminders from the summer when they met and it was so endearing and sweet. Loved the dynamics between them, the witty banter, all the mutual pinning and the tension. But they got to know each other anew. They were amazing together and the chemistry between them was oh, so steaming hot. I loved the last few chapters and that bonus epilogue make me swoon big time. And that little tidbits about Garrett and the sneak peak in his story made me so impatient for the last book in the series. The angst will be strong with this one.
Thanks to the author for the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book.
Calvin has never forgotten about the summer Sienna and her family came to stay at his family's ranch when they were teenagers. He’s held her up on a pedestal. Knowing that there's no chance in them meeting again after all these years. With being a hockey player, he's also got a reputation with the women. But since his knee injury he's not out on the ice, which has made him overthink things, will he ever play again, is his career over? He doesn’t really hang out with his teammates much now. That is until he recognises Sienna at a club. But she doesn’t recognises him, sure he’s changed over the years, he's no longer that skinny kid. With their friends being together he can't believe his luck that she's now in his orbit, and she lives in the same building as him, the floor beneath him.
Sienna's got trust issues when it comes to men, she's been burned before, she does what she can to protect herself. Moving into a new building, her new upstairs neighbour is noisy. When she finds out it's an LA Vipers hockey player, and her being a hockey fan. She’s used to being around the players, now that her bestie is with one. But when she has the flu, she's surprised that Calvin takes care of her, making sure she eats, etc. Things start to spark between them.
Will she remember that she's already met Calvin? What could go wrong when she discovers the truth? Can these two slightly cracked individuals heal each other? Is it fate that these two have been guided back together? Who knew that moody, hockey players can be so sweet deep down?
The comedic banter and found family bond between them all is brilliant, with a new addition, Garrett, Siennas brother.

Securing the Pucking Rebound by Tracy Lorraine LA Vipers, Book 6
This story kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end! The chemistry and connection between Sienna and Calvin were so intriguing, and I loved watching their relationship unfold throughout the story.
The character development really stood out to me. I enjoyed getting to understand both Sienna and Calvin, their past experiences, their struggles, and what brought them together. Their connection felt genuine, and I loved the way the story balanced romance, emotion, healing, and a few unexpected moments along the way.
The storyline pulled me in, and every detail added something to the overall experience. There was plenty of emotion, adventure, tension, and of course, that slow-burn chemistry that kept me turning the pages. Tracy Lorraine did an amazing job bringing these characters and their story to life.
This book definitely met my expectations and gave me even more than I was expecting. 💕🏒
Sorry, no spoilers from me! 😉 But if you love hockey romance, second chances, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine, hurt/comfort, slow burn, and unforgettable character connections, this is definitely one you’ll want to check out.
I highly recommend this story to anyone who loves emotional romance and great storytelling. I’m already looking forward to seeing what comes next in the LA Vipers series! 🏒❤️
Five stars, full stop and there is not a soul on the planet that will ever be able to convince me that Securing the Pucking Rebound by Tracy Lorraine isn’t an all out top tier second chance romance! The swoon, swagger, and heart Calvin Keller brings to this story is unreal good, this friend group is found family at it’s finest, and the back story to Sienna and Calvin’s romance is the stuff of every teenage girl’s fantasy and all the reasons you believe in fate, kismet and serendipity as an adult, and I guarantee you it’ll give you ALL. THE. FEELS. This is brimming with meaning, chock full of sexy, seductive, and all kinds of tension, uses humor in all the right ways and all the perfect spots, romances the heck out of you, and makes you believe in meant to be. And it does with a rock-solid story about a guy who’s going after the girl he never forgot, a girl who doesn’t recognize him and has zero faith in this known playboys intentions, and the irony that what Calvin thought was the worst thing to ever happen to him is the reason he’s got nothing but time to show Sienna he’s the right guy for her just like she’s always been the right girl for him. The characters are wonderful, the feels are phenomenal, and all the ways Calvin shows Sienna he’s all in are incredible, and I will never recommend this read enough.

Sienna and Calvin
This is the sixth installment in the LA Vipers series. And it follows Sienna and Calvin. Their story is beautiful and has the sweetest characters. Sienna is a hard working woman who wants to earn everything she has. She just moved into the building where Calvin lives and is a big hockey fan. Calvin is thrown off by an injury. To be back on the ice is all he wants and he works hard day and night to accomplish that goal. This is also the way that gets Sienna to his door one night. He is surprised to see that Sienna is his neighbor because she is the one girl he has wanted for a while. Which comes from a shared past, one she obviously doesn’t remember. Their relationship is all about taking care of each other and getting to know each other and building trust. Something that is hard for Sienna. But what happens when the secrets come out? When Sienna does remember? Can both be what the other one needs and heal each other and together?
Nothing better than when the MMC calls the FMC Darlin’ 🫠🫠
I love when a hockey romance almost puts the game on the back burner and focuses on the couple, that’s what we get with this one. Calvin “Killer” Keller is sitting out this season, rehabbing his torn ACL, missing all the action and it’s killing him. One night there’s a banging on his door, and he finds his past and his future all wrapped into one standing there. It’s a shame she doesn’t remember him.
This story is more emotional than the others, by having the characters share their vulnerabilities and their insecurities, bringing them to life in the most real sort of way. So because of some of those vulnerabilities this one is a slow burn, letting these two connect emotionally before things get heated up, but once they do… watch out!
I love this world Tracy has written, each book in this series will make you laugh, maybe cry and definitely blush, in the best possible of ways. I will never miss out on a chance to read her stories. Do not miss these Vipers, no one loves harder.
They met when they were 12/13 and had 2 weeks together at his ranch. They tried to write but life got in the way and they lost touch but Calvin never forgot his crush on her but when they meet again she doesnt recognise him. He doesnt tell her and the way he just wants to be near her is so damn sweet. My boy is smitten!!!!
He has an injury which i think could have been explored more. She could have helped him through it in a more emotional way. But thats just me being fussy.
I really felt how much he longed for her and when she realised who he was, I could feel his panic. She had every right to be angry but I loved the way it resolved, he gave her the space she needed but she didnt drag it out too long. The respect and devotion he has for Sienna.. urrgghh almost made me swoon!
I love this series so much. I’m getting my hockey fix during the off-season with added romance. Sienna and Calvin’s story was fantastic. Tracy did such a fabulous job with the biggest womanizer. He is practically the last man standing, so to speak. All his teammates have found their other halves and the one he wants doesn’t remember who he is. He makes it his mission to have her. However, he keeps his identity a secret and doesn’t tell her he remembers her from when they were younger. Calvin shows her parts of himself that no one else sees and they tell each other things they didn’t tell others. This is a second chance romance with drama, angst, meddling friends (in a good way), and some twists and revelations. Tracy hit all the marks with these two and I cannot to see what she does with the next couple. It’s gonna be good.
Review 📖 Securing The Pucking Rebound La Vipers Book Six Written by Tracy Lorraine
I love the banter between them. The attraction they both can't ignore. I love that he is hoping for a second chance with her and for her to finally remember who he is. Waiting for that moment was additive and as usual such a Tracy Lorraine thing to do. The slow burn was the perfect amount of torture. Honestly I just can’t get enough of these two and this series. As usual when it comes to Tracy's books I'm trying to pick up all the clues as to who the next and final book is about 🙊🤫🤭
🏒Ice Hockey Romance 💄Sports Romance 🏒Second Chance Romance 💄Forced Proximity 🏒Unrecognized Lover 💄Grumpy x Sunshine 🏒Hurt x Comfort 💄Slow Burn
When i heard this book had second chance, mistaken identity and forced proximity i was so excited to find out about sienna and Calvin's story and it did not disappoint at all! I have really enjoyed this series and the found family vibes with this team and their girls...i was so happy to get more of Bea and Rett since Bea and Sienna work together and are best friends! I loved the yearning Calvin had for sienna after all this time and the yearning she had for him as well... their chemistry and spice was total perfection and overall the book was such a great read!
Calvin Keller has been a constant through the series kind of an anchor for the team. But he's also broody and he's got secrets. The biggest secret he's keeping is the one he's keeping from Sienna the only girl he's ever been interested in. The secret is she doesn't remember who he is. This story is full of so much growth for Calvin and Sienna as individuals. Not only that but both of these characters are so much fun. Stubborn, silly, vulnerable, and they both have a past that involves things that keep them closed off from others. Chemistry and banter and dwindling self-control this one is a fantastic read. I have voluntarily left this review.
Even six books in does Tracy Lorraine deliver an entertaining read. Bring on Calvin “Killer” Keller to deliver this one.
Securing The Pucking Rebound is a forced proximity, second chance hockey romance that is easily five stars! I love the way the author wrote this story. My heart is such a big lover of second chances and this is just that good. Sienna and Calvin, just yes! I love the dialogue and chemistry between them. This book was really good and I’m so glad to have read it.
I am definitely a big fan of this series. I’m also a fan of Tracy! I am excited to see what books are coming next. I definitely recommend this book for all to enjoy!
This entire series should be consumed --- and yes, I mean consumed! The depth of the characters, the connections between the MMC and FMC are well defined and only continue to grow thru the series and each novel has a smooth introduction to the follow-on lead couple. You will get trapped in a place where the only thing you want to accomplish is reading the final pages of the epilogue!
Sienna and Calvin are an ideal second-chance story. The intertwining and importance of "found family" between Sienna/Bea and the Bea Hive ladies ---- and that of Calvin and the Vipers truly warms your heart.
This is another great read by Tracy Lorraine! You won't be disappointed.
Securing the Pucking Rebound by Tracy Lorraine had such a sweet setup. Sienna and Calvin first meet as teenagers, then reconnect as adults with one of them not realizing who the other is. Their second chance at building a relationship was easy to root for.
I loved how they helped each other grow. Sienna supports Calvin through a serious injury, while he helps her build confidence in her own worth. The friendship dynamics added another fun layer and tied the story nicely into the rest of the series.
My personal plot twist was realizing way too late that Vinny was a nickname for Calvin. I spent most of the book waiting for some dramatic explanation about why this man had two names. Apparently the mystery was just me.
Overall, a sweet, satisfying read with great character growth and series connections.
These two are perfect for one another a second chance where one remembers the other from a good time ago and the other doesn’t immediately recognise them.
The slow burn between these two is cute! Their relationship builds and Sienna becomes the rock Calvin needs to slowly remember what belonging feels like. This book took you on an emotional journey through love friendship healing and finding that one person who can make you feel more like yourself and better than anyone has ever before. I love Tracy Lorraine’s stories and world building
Securing the Pucking Rebound is the 6th book in the LA Vipers series. This book is about Calvin Keller and Sienna and is told from both of their points of view.
Calvin is part of the hockey team, but when he gets hurt his career is on the line. Sienna has moved into a new building and is just trying to make it on her own. However, her new upstairs neighbor is keeping her up, and when she's sick she decides to do something about it. Not realizing her new neighbor is Calvin.
When Calvin realizes Sienna is his new neighbor he decides to start a friendship with her. However, he is hiding something from the past. What happens when Sienna figures out what his secret is? Can they get through everything that is thrown at them? I loved getting to see these characters grow through this book. Sienna's care for her brother and family, Calvin healing from his injury.
From the preview for the next book in the series, I'm excited to continue on!
This book is a very slow burn. To be honest I felt it was longer than it should have. I thought Calvin was the biggest sweetheart in the world. I just absolutely loved him. Sienna took me a while to warn up to her. Wasn't too happy how insecure she was with his past, being unappreciative for his efforts, and rude comments she constantly made .
The next book will be about her brother Garrett. I already figured out immediately who the "gay hockey player" would be. This should be exciting. Looking forward to that book.
Give me Calvin and that Southern drawl anyway of the week!! I love the LA Vipers team and whole family, the banter and close relationship between everyone is brill. Sienna was a great character in Bea's book so im glad she got her own story. I felt so sorry for Calvin after his injury but Sienna certainly turned things around. The anticipation and chemistry between the two was off the charts! Such a slow burn but absolutely well worth it.
I absolutely adore this series!! I was so excited to read Calvin and Sierra's story! The way Calvin is so patient with Sierra and always checks in with her to make sure she is ok at all times! Be still my heart! He even cooks for her and takes care of her when she's sick. This one is so swoon worthy!
Loved loved loved it! Could barely put it down these boys just get better and better with each book. Looking forward to the last book of the series although I'll be sad to see the end of it Killer was just *chef kiss* I swooned so bad throughout the whole book, i didnt want it to end 💜
Absolutely fantastic as usual. I couldn’t put it down and before I knew it I had finished it. Gutted the next one isn’t until October but I’m fully invested in this series and every time I wish I was the FMC
I LOVED the slow burn and the beautiful connection between these two. All the credit goes to Calvin who is just a dream. I love a man who fights for his lady and refuses to back down. It was so good to see their story unfold so nicely. My only peeve is I found it a little too long. I felt like some of it could have been cut to keep the pace moving a little smoother. Great read. 😀
sienna and calvin🥹🥹🥹🥹 stop it if anyone is supposed to find eachother again in life it’s them their story is so perfect I absolutely loved reading it!!!!! I NEED the next book right now genuine garret book is gonna be everything
Man I loved this oh so much. A great kinda second chance romance with such chemistry and heat I’m surprised it didn’t burn the kindle. I absolutely loved these two together. A great addition to a great series.
This shows that Tracy can write just about anything. This book was sooo good. The second chance romance had me giggling and swooning. Killer is definitely my fave.
