The Mafia Don’s Heir: A Dark, Arranged Marriage Mafia Romance

Rate this book
The Don abandoned me on our wedding night.
Five years later, he comes back to claim me.

My family has never seen me as anything more than a bargaining chip.

So when they marry me off to their enemy, I expect the cruel Don to treat me the same way.
Instead, Renzo Gallioti walks away on our wedding night.

For five years, I’ve built a life of my own.
A child to protect.
A family I chose when my own never chose me.

Until Renzo comes back.

Now, he wants to make our marriage real.
But he also wants answers.
He wants to know who the boy in my care belongs to.

But I can’t let him discover the truth.
Not when the man I once feared is becoming the man I can’t resist.

And this time, I refuse to be anyone’s pawn.

A struggle to read

This is the first book of Irina’s I DNF’d. 30% of the way in and I struggled to follow everything going on in each chapter. Renzo and Dahlia were all over the place in their heads and it drove me up the wall. Dahlia also confused the hell out of me and needed to have a backbone stronger than a limp noodle.

Maybe I’ll cleanse my mafia romance palette and try again in a couple weeks.
