Blind dates are bad, but a blind date-in-the-dark is just asking for a interesting time.
Three dates and three nights spent in total darkness is not how Allie or Parker had planned to ring in the New Year. But when fate steps in, these young coeds soon find themselves drawn to each other.

Date in the Dark is a really sweet and cute romance that brought a smile to my face throughout the book as Parker sets out to win Allie's heart. After Allie was burned in the past when she dated a co-worker, she set her own self-imposed rule of no dating co-workers. But that was before she came in close contact with the hunky IT guy at the library where she works.
This story is a light and fun novella with a hunky beta male. I found Parker to be a refreshing hero and I rooted for him the entire time. Allie was stubborn and I wanted to smack her a few times to get with the program, but she eventually came around. Although the story is predictable, the journey to the end was fun to experience with the couple.
So if you're looking for a fun, fresh and clean romance (nothing beyond kissing here), then this is a great choice. The author's writing style is easy and fluid.
Cute, sweet and short read. I truly enjoyed the Date in the Dark concept. Although I kinda wish the author woulda described the logistics of the setup. It seemed the place was completely dark and the attendees couldn't see anything yet the people hosting and waiting the event could see? Other than that, I enjoyed the story and how cute the two MCs were. Looking forward to more from this author.
I cannot say enough about Wagner’s Date In The Dark – loved it! Allie and Parker’s romance will keep you reading to see what happens (and wanting to try to eat in the dark HA). Wagner’s story is intriguing and lives up to how exciting the title sounds. I definitely recommend this book – Allie and Parker were fun character’s to get to know and their romance was sweet!
There really was not much dating in the dark, so the whole premise was quite a joke as there were no strangers in the darkness who reveal their identity. Still, the main characters were kind and sweet, and this wasn’t a bad debut novella.
This book is a quick little read. Sometimes romance books can be cheesy, not that I mind the cheesy ones ;), but this one wasn't overly so. I thought the characters interesting and the premise behind the romance was fun. I received this book in a goodreads giveaway and am very glad that I did. I would look for other books by this author.
