She lives in Staffordshire with her son Ollie and English Setter rescue dog Roni, is Author Community Director for publisher Bookouture (a division of Hachette UK) and as an avid reader started her career in the publishing industry as a book blogger.
When she's not working or writing, Kim can be found walking her dog at Cannock Chase, reading and binge-watching TV. She's also quite partial to a spa day, lemon drizzle cake and a gin and tonic (not all at the same time!)
Kim also runs a book club in Staffordshire and organises local and national reader/author events.

A new book by Ms Nash is always a treat but I have to say this is my favourite so far
We meet 3 sisters, Imo, Ally and Kate, all wildly different and all happy but unhappy in their own ways….their godmother Dandy owns ‘Bridgewater Falls’ and events take a turn and the 3 sisters are given a third each….which means they have to work together to make the resort a success and show Dandy what they can do
Of course the 3 have differing opinions and range from Imo’s thrill to Ally’s disgust at what they have been charged with doing but as they work together they re find their long gone bond and also discover what is troubling each other…..
And of course there is romance and I loved the plane scene, good old Betty
A good tonic of a read, quite fancy going there myself and relaxing in the new reading relaxing areas

Ms Nash has done it again with her new book A new dawn at Brightwater Falls another beautiful and uplifting read from the author.
Imo has spent most of her childhood days at the beautiful resort of Brightwater falls with her mother and her godmother Dandy. So, when her mother dies. She is close to her godmother Dandy instead of her two older sisters Ally and Kate which are completely different from her, and they lived away and had families of their own. Dandy took over the helm at Brightwater falls and has been running it for several years. Now seventy she has become ill and has asked Imo and her sisters to take over and run it. But Imo has not had the best relationship with her sisters. But this gives her the chance to get close to them again.
I love a book from Kim Nash, and this one is no exception. This is another beautifully written, uplifting story about sisterhood and second chances. Oh yes, there is some romance in it too. I like the storyline and the setting of the resort; it sounds like a great place to visit when you need a weekend away. This also got me thinking of my own relationship with my own sister too. But it always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling when reading books from the author. Making me want to read more from her. This will be a fabulous read to take on holiday with. 5 stars from me.

Imo’s life was everything she had imagined it would be, but she soon discovers that there are still things missing. During her annual visit with her sisters, Ally and Kate, at her godmother Dandy’s resort, a single weekend sets in motion a series of significant changes - changes that may finally give Imo the chance for a new dawn of her own.
The visit with Imo’s sisters is fraught with friction. Imo has always felt somewhat alienated from Ally and Kate, especially after they left home, eventually leaving Imo alone with their mother. When their mother became ill, Imo was the one who cared for her until her death, and the experience left her carrying deep feelings of resentment toward her sisters.
Imo’s godmother, Dandy, doesn’t run the resort alone. Imo’s lifelong friends James and Milo work there as well. At one point, Imo and Milo were in a relationship, but it fizzled out for more than one reason. And where does that leave James? Readers will be pleased to see how that part of Imo’s story gradually unfolds.
Sadly, Dandy is injured in an accident and left in a coma. Imo soon turns to Ally and Kate for help running the resort until Dandy recovers. This unexpected extended time together forces the three sisters to confront the complicated dynamics of their relationships with one another, as well as the choices they have made in their own lives and families.
I very much enjoyed this sweet and touching story. The relationship between the sisters had me thinking about my own relationships with each of my sisters. Are there things left unsaid? Is there something unresolved that could still be worked out? Kim Nash did a wonderful job of making Imo’s story feel deeply personal and relatable. I also loved the little glimpses of the changing dynamic between Imo and James. Their developing relationship was handled with a gentle touch and woven beautifully into the larger story.
A New Dawn at Brightwater Falls wonderfully explores sisterly bonds, forgiveness, a growing romance, and the possibility of letting go of old hurts. There are deeper issues beneath this gentle story, and Nash handles them with sensitivity. For Imo, that “new dawn” is about far more than romance. It is about seeing her sisters, as well as herself, differently, allowing old wounds to begin to heal, and realizing that the life she thought was complete might still have room for something more.
Having read every one of Kim Nash’s novels, I was pulled into this gentle story from beginning to end. She has a marvelous way of writing stories that not only make readers feel, but also make them hope. With its absolutely wonderful and touching conclusion, A New Dawn at Brightwater Falls truly lives up to its title, reminding us that even after years of hurt and misunderstanding, there can still be a new beginning.
I can’t wait for her next book!

The lakeside resort at Brightwater Falls is very idyllic and could easily visualise it in my head from the wonderful descriptions by the author. Imo, who has a lot of happy memories from her childhood there, finds herself back at the resort along with her two sisters. It isn’t the best circumstances to be back with her godmother having taken ill and it throws the sisters together. Imo, Ally and Kate are not close and they are all very different in personality as well as their lives.
The sisters have a lot to face together. Not only have they got to try and get along with each other, they also need to run the resort and try and turn it around. Imo has the most experience when it comes to the business side of things but it also brings back a lot of hurtful memories and brings up issues with how her sisters treat her with her being the youngest. Along with the sisters, I enjoyed getting to know Dandy as well as two men who have been in Imo’s life since childhood which is something else that gives Imo a lot of food for thought.
My thoughts on Ally and Kate changed the further into the story I got. Being thrown together gives the sisters an opportunity to see what is really going on in all of their lives. It was lovely to see them growing closer together and working out their issues. The thread surrounding the business was also inspiring and seeing how all the characters work together for not only the best interest of the business but for the staff and the guests as well. There is also some romance of which one particular part had me grinning like a loon and gave me goosebumps. It was like something straight out of a movie!
A New Dawn at Brightwater Falls was an utterly gorgeous story that I ended up staying up late into the night to finish as I couldn’t put it down. It was uplifting, heart-warming, emotional, everything that I have come to expect from this author and more. Her characters feel real and relatable and I always feel like I’ve made some new friends, even if they are fictional! I absolutely adored this book and didn’t want it to end. A sign of a great story as well as an exceptional writer and would make the perfect Hallmark movie. Fabulous from start to finish!

It was another lovely, heartwarming, thought-provoking book from the lovely Kim Nash with a theme throughout of relationships, romance, heartbreak and much much more.
I love picking up Kim's books because theyre just unputdownable. They flow easily and I get a feeling of home when I read them.
Sometimes you find a writer that just fits on with your style of reading and Kim is definitely one of those.
I absolutely love Imo, she was my favourite character in this book and I related to her so much. She is one who never spoke up when someone said something she didn't like or agree with, but as her character develops you begin to see this change.
I love the relationship dynamics before Imo and her two sisters and also other characters. I loved the love between the 3 sisters and that never faltering despite them bickering sometimes. Ali coming to terms with her health condition and her sisters supporting her was so lovely and it made me cry.
I also got emotional at the plane scene (but no spoilers here).

I'm a character development girly through and through, and this book delivered exactly that. Imo, Ally and Kate could have been three flat, interchangeable sisters. Instead, each one felt properly distinct. Imo's quiet resentment towards being the overlooked, reliable one landed so genuinely. Watching the three of them actually shift and grow into caring about each other, rather than softening for the sake of the plot, was what made this book for me.
It's a story about sisters finally learning to see each other fully. They aren't perfect. There are miscommunications and old hurts along the way, but that's true of any family. The bond they build by the end is genuinely one of the most special things I've read in a while.
The romance was a lovely bonus. It was understated and never stole focus from the real heart of the story: three sisters finally seeing each other properly. Gorgeous and moving, Kim Nash writes people so well.

This was a lovely, easy-going read with a cosy summer feel. I enjoyed the family dynamics, the emotional moments and the way the relationships developed throughout the story.
The slow-burn romance was sweet and well written, although Imo not seeing what seemed absolutely clear as day to everyone else was very frustrating at times. I may have wanted to give her a gentle nudge in the right direction!
For me, this wasn't a particularly groundbreaking read, but it was pleasant, heartfelt and easy to settle into. A comforting story with family, friendship, romance and a lovely setting.

Kim is back with another gorgeous read and another that i couldnt put down.
This book had a Kellerman's vibe but UK edition and I just flew through it. The characters and their journey not only as sisters but also their individual journeys were beautifully written.
I've never read a book of Kim's I've not enjoyed and I cant wait for her next book already.
