About the author

Jack Williams Hayford (born June 25, 1934) is an American author, Pentecostal minister, and Chancellor Emeritus of The King's University (formerly The King's College and Seminary). He is a former senior pastor of The Church On The Way in Van Nuys, California and was the fourth President of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. He is widely known for his past involvement in the Promise Keepers movement and for being a prolific author and songwriter, with over 600 hymns and choruses in his catalog. He is the author of the popular 1978 hymn "Majesty", which is rated as one of the top 100 contemporary hymns and performed and sung in churches worldwide.

This truly is the key to everything

I so highly recommend this book. Changed my views and my heart, made me laugh and made me cry. God has spoken through Pastor Jack. This will be a book I reread many times.

This Book is a life changer!

The key to everything is one of those books that really change your mind about things. I won't spoil it for you, but it is something you already knew but maybe never looked at. This Book is awesome.

Being a Christian, I am always on a journey. This journey leads me in all directions trying to live a life worthy of all that I have received through the death and resurrection of my Savior. Needless to say, I come up short every step of the way. As I began reading this book, I thought it would be another on financial tithing, but I soon realized that it touches on giving in different ways that can enrich our lives, change our relationships with others and draw us closer to the Lord. As the author writes on pages 192 and 193, "the Key to Everything centers on giving: on forgiving because we've been forgiven, on letting go because we've been set free, on giving up because nothing's every gained by holding back, and on giving freely because God has charged us nothing for all He's done for us or given to us." I believe this book will challenge you to view giving as well as receiving in a whole new light. I received the book for free through Goodreads Giveaways, but all opinions are my own.
