Leaving Babylon

Rate this book
This is a road map out of religion and onto the Covenant path that will lead you back to the Creator – back to the Garden.

This book is a complement to the Walk in the Light series and stands alone as a guide for those seeking to leave man-made religions and traditions to follow the narrow path that leads to life through the Messiah.

That path was actually blazed by a man named Abram who literally left Babylon thousands of years ago to follow the promises given to Him by Elohim. His life was a demonstration of the Covenant that provides redemption for mankind through the Promised Son – Yahushua the Messiah.

Sadly, modern religion has changed His name to Jesus and completely distorted His words and His teachings. As a result, many people who think they are following Him will be told to depart, because He does not know them. (see Matthew 7:21-23) While they think they have a relationship with Him, He states that they do not.

The simple truth is that many people have been misled by organized religion, and they are in trouble. We are living in a time of great deception and it is imperative that people to wake up from their slumber and leave Babylon – symbolic of the false religions and hedonistic culture that typifies western civilization.

Like Abraham, we must be ready to leave Babylon and follow the direction of the Creator. It is an ancient path that has been hidden and buried under centuries of false doctrine and tradition.

Won’t you join in on this quest for truth? It is sure to be the adventure of a lifetime!

Some books profoundly describe a problem, or something that is not right.. and this is one of them. If you do not intend to discuss this book with your fellowship after reading it, then do not read it.

It is the type that seeks to require you to change from the reading.

If it was instead presented with each issue also having as much content of the testimony & methods of "solving" it, then it would be instructive.. I refer to Fosters "Celebration of Disciple" as an example of what I am describing..
12 topics, with 12 reasons and also 12 efforts to give practical remedial advice
(See how I seek to do the same thing that I suggest?)
So don't read this alone... or if you do.. also read Foster?

I just finished reading Todd Bennett’s new book, Leaving Babylon. I didn’t want the book to end. I began my Walk in Torah about 23 years ago, faltering, failing much, not knowing how, but learning more each day. Several years later, when I discovered the books written by Todd Bennett, I was blown away. Each book has been better than the last, and each book has taught me things I had never realized before. Yah has given Todd profound insight .and Todd expresses those teachings with such beauty. Some passages are so eye-opening and so true, my heart skips a beat. I gave a copy of this book to one of my daughters who had not yet joined us on this Covenant Walk, but I knew the Ruach was working on her. She said that each night when she picks up the book to read, she is blown away. She knows in her spirit that it is time to walk in Torah and leave Babylon.

When my friends and family ask questions about Torah, I often loan them one of Todd’s books or direct them to his web site and his YouTube teachings. Todd is an exceptional teacher.

I look forward to reading Todd’s soon-to-be-released book, The Israel Dilemma. If I could change one thing about Todd’s books, I would implore him to please add headers to the pages!
