About THE JACK REACHER FILES: HOSTAGE

The use of story situations and supporting characters from the Jack Reacher universe authorized by Lee Child.

Several years after the riveting events depicted in international bestselling author Lee Child’s NOTHING TO LOSE, a brutal abduction threatens to turn a small Colorado township upside down…

Jack Reacher…
Former army major, military police, the 110th Special Investigations Unit. Now a drifter and a trouble magnet.

Caminha Sozinho…
Assassin for hire. An expert marksman when distance is called for, but prefers the intimacy of a sharp blade. After failing on his first attempt, he must kill Reacher now or face death himself.

The trap…
In a small Colorado community just west of the Kansas border, a police officer named Vaughan goes missing shortly after finishing her shift. Will Jack Reacher come running when he hears that an old friend is in trouble?

Note: While the name Jack Reacher and some of the supporting characters and story situations are used with author Lee Child’s permission, the Jack Reacher character remains offstage in THE JACK REACHER FILES thrillers.

THE JACK REACHER FILES: HOSTAGE is 18,000 words, approximately 85 pages.

Not bad

A good story. Keeps your attention and moves at a good pace. But, no Jack Reacher. Still, I would recommend it.

Same old, same old.

This is just another attempt at copying the successful style of the Jack Reacher novels. It was nowhere near as good.

Jack Reacher.....nuff said!

Well written with really strong characters. Read it in one setting as I couldn't stop. Each chapter ended with a cliffhanger and I HAD to find out what happens next. If you like Jack Reacher you need to read this and all related stories.

Great books

The Jack Reached books keep you guessing that's why I like them so much. I wish there were more with the Jack Reached characterization

Have read almost (if not all) every one of the Jack Reacher series. I love a 'Bada** Good Guy.'

A very good short read

Interesting idea on the original series. Jack Reacher has ignited great interest in the public. This will do the same.
