Poetry. Prose. ... this is a pure poetry ... not of music, nor words ... with something of meaning ... with stunning conclusions ... Leftwich has created here a living entity ... Not to be missed for its reality ... -- Peter Ganick. This thickly textured work with few paragraph breaks runs with the reader's attention for almost 600 pages. It's a wild ride. No room for the colon, a new enthusiasm in the rubber object, within the triple theos two cellular elbows, if the kindness of the eye glazes a color of cuttlefish, blind cigarette in the gnostic cup, no song of dust so that it shows, more to do with the moral waters than any supposition of strength. Jim Leftwich edits Juxta with Ken Harris, an on-line version which can be read at the Electronic Poetry Center. His IMPROVISATIONS TRANSFORMATIONS is also available from SPD.
