"The noise is made when it struck my head was almost comical. I nearly wanted to laugh as everything darkened. My knees buckled, and I felt the world being pulled away. My first thought as I went to the floor was that the thugs from the elevator had come back for vengeance.".......
Thomas is on the job, hunting an up and coming model by the name of Christina Bishop. Wanted for murder, is she guilty or innocent? Her boyfriend doesn't think she's guilty and hoping Thomas can prove it.
Some great action scenes. This is the third novella in this Thomas Blume series. I've not been let down with this series, and have enjoyed reading this mystery thriller.
Taking place in London, as the death of his family took place there. It's what brought Thomas from New York. A former detective turned private investigator. Is this the book where we find out what really happened to his wife and son? The clues are small and handed out sparingly. Their deaths are the background to everything that Thomas does in his life.
I loved the surprise twist! Shocking! Can he find Christina? Is she dead? Is she a murderer? Will Thomas out his own life in grave danger? Once again a great ending leading up to the fourth and final book in the series.

Another A Great Page-Turning Story
Again, the author doesn’t disappoint with the on-going saga of protagonist Thomas Blume who is hired by a client to find his girlfriend who is on the run for killing someone, before the police do. This high-octane narrative has more twists and turns than a group of line dancers, where nothing is quite as it seems, sending you on a roller coaster ride with unsolved secrets, scandal, police cover-ups, and duplicity. The dialogue and conflicts among the multifaceted characters make for great storytelling, building up to an ending that will have you questioning, “How well do you really know someone?” The author weaves into the story some very key social issues, namely alcoholism, homelessness, and stalking.

Christina Bishop a top model, suspected of murder, driving through London, cops chasing, a mishap, explosion, now gone. The boyfriend believed her to be innocent. Media, newspaper headlines “A.Redheaded Killer” Damian comes the next morning,can’t accept, she is gone, with anger and denial, he left. As a Pi having taken his case earlier had my doubts, Tina had just gotten her license, and who ever was driving was a pro. There is twists and turns and who to believe when there is police cover up. Multifaceted characters, Thomas, himself wonders if he is following a ghost. Another great read, that readers will definitely enjoy.Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Blume just can't catch a break. He has this case all figured out. Right up until he gets whooped upside the head and almost killed by the client. Yikes! On to Book 4.

My favorite of the series so far! I couldn't put it down and I finished this book in one evening. These books are so well-written! I feel like I have an invested interest in what happens to Thomas Blume and I especially enjoyed the ending of this book.

Good, quick reading
Great book of action. Like the character of Blume. He is flawed, still cares, but has a hard time doing his job. He is determined and has a good mind but his personal pain gets in his way sometimes.

She is beautiful... But is she a killer?
When sultry model Christina Bishop is discovered unconscious next to the body of her manager, all fingers point to her as the suspect. Accused of murder, she disappears into the London underworld, leaving behind her frantic boyfriend and angry police. Thomas Blume is hired to find Christina and prove her innocence, but not before a shocking turn of events leaves him wondering if he is chasing a ghost. Now, Blume must face the demons of his own past and battle through the bright lights and dark secrets of the city as he races to reach Christina before the Police. In a case where nothing is as it seems, can Blume get to the bottom of the case and find the real killer?
What did I like? Wow, it is incredible how much trouble this one man can get into. Leave it to him to face his demons and those of others around him. He is such a loveable teddy bear that is the one guy that I want to make everything better for.
What will you like? Unbelievable action and impossible situations that lead to more trouble for Blume. Remarkable characters that will live on in your mind. Life feeling descriptions and details that make you feel your right with him in the middle of things. The research shows on every page as you turn and keeps your nose glued to the pages. This author is going places and I want to go with him! Borrowed from Kindle Unlimited.

What did I like? The hell that Thomas has gone through in his past just breaks my heart. Having lost a son myself I can feel each and every pain that he is going through. I didn’t follow the same path but you can tell that he is in there and trying to get past the pain in his own way. It is awesome that he gets out there and works and tries to convince himself that there something more with each case that he gets involved in.
What will you like? Wow, this is a mind-bending one that has so many twists and turns with the dead coming alive and things so complicated that it will have you drinking your milk just to turn off the light and gets some sleep. Every step seems to lead to nowhere and possibly somewhere but where and to who? Intriguing with a touch of intense obscurity. Just when you think you have it figured out the whodunnit might change! This one is a really complicated one that leads Thomas on lots of goose chases through the seedier side of London! The best part is there are many more cases that will keep us all going. Join me in the next adventure, Cross Fire, book 4. I received this from the author for an honest review with no other compensation.

Red Hunt: A Captivating detective mystery (Hard Boiled Thrillers)
This book reminds me of earlier MICKEY SPILLANE novels. There is lots of action ,guns ,beautiful girls , bad guys, thugs and of course THE HERO. All in all a really great read with a good plot. Wasn't expecting the ending. That's a good thing. As I love trying to guess the finish. I RECOMMEND this NOIR MYSTERY.
