This book made me think deeply about what it means to truly listen. Callie begins the story believing that her voice and music are the most important parts of who she is. After her accident, she has to face a painful question: who is she without the life she planned? I loved the quiet moments between Callie and Ezra. Their communication through signs, touch, expression, and patience was very moving. The story shows that connection does not only come through sound.
