WTF‼️ This book did NOT disappoint…however, dropping without Justice II in sight is diabolical like parts of this storyline. This was a definitely a page tuner. I could not put this book down.

THE WAY I AM SHOOK. I like kind of had a thought but I’m like nah nah no way. 🌚 Too much is going on but one this for sure miss thing need to be IN THE DIRT !! You can’t rehabilitate that. Nah Miss Author this might be your lane right here some thriller , psychological vibes perfect for October. If I was Skye/Melody I would gtfoh the d aint that good.

I just knew Justice’s story was going to be my favorite. My goodness, this man has SOOOO much going on, and I was stressed right along with him! 😩 I finally finished after stalling because I am NEVER ready for N’Dia’s cliffhangers. Her cliffhangers have me STRESSED every single time! And that ending?! GIRRRRL! I need the next book ASAP because I cannot be left like this! 😭
I’m gonna need Skye (Melody) to put her big-girl panties on and FACE this. Girl, stop running! Tell Justice to get ahead of everything and stop keeping all these damn secrets! Just like Roman can be a manipulative psycho, between Skye being a former lawyer and Justice being who he is, y’all should be able to come up with a way to beat this man at his own game! I have a feeling Roman knew where she was this whole time and came to D.C. to infiltrate the Banks because he somehow knows she’s connected to them. 👀 Everybody needs to get on the same page because I am TIRED of the secrets!
And Justice? He really disappointed me in this book. All that denial and ignoring what’s right in front of him had me yelling at the book! I am SHOOKETH. 😂 N’Dia Rae had me side eyeing everybody in this damn book, but Storie? Baby, that child had me uncomfortable from the beginning and somehow every crazy theory I had kept getting worse. I really enjoyed Justice and Skye together, but what pushed this to 5 stars for me was everything happening around them. Skye’s backstory was heartbreaking, Justice had his hands full with his family, Kira kept making terrible decisions, and Storie was basically running a criminal investigation out of her bedroom while everybody kept calling it grief. Whew.
Justice may actually be my favorite Banks brother, but I’m holding that declaration until this series is truly finished because clearly N’Dia Rae believes in emotional terrorism and cliffhangers. 😂 This book had romance, family, trauma, secrets, manipulation, and enough plot twists to keep me guessing all the way through. I am still processing this foolishness.

Phenomenal Read!!!
When I tell you I got chills about this daughter from the other books in the series but like Justice I blew it off as well but stored for later. And to come to his book and find out at the end my gut wasn’t wrong was amazing… Ohhh but she for the right one on the right day. Because as calculated as this 15yr old thinks she is she’s definitely met her match IF she doesn’t allow fear to stop her. Skye poor baby she’s been to hell and back even the devil needs to be hugging her showing her some mercy. Cause the monster that she was married to is beyond even the devil…. And she needs some kind of relief and help. I know this nook just came out but I’m definitely looking forward to Book ll sooner rather than later. These cliffhanger be taking me out!!!!! But definitely keep writing and I’ll definitely keep reading!!! Thank you N’Dia Rae you doing it sis!!! 💪🏾🎉💯

Terrifyingly Good!!!
I must say this was terrifyingly good. That little girl, that little girl!!!! Oohhh! Once again N’Dia this is a great read. I loved the all of the Washington, DC and Maryland references and landmarks. The instant connection yet slow progression of Justice and Skye’s relationship. The suspense of Skye running into her ex husband and the anxiety of that interaction. The support and friendship she had with Aubrey was excellent. And of course the Banks brothers just being Banks brothers. Now onto Ms. Storie, what on earth!! That young lady is diabolical in her thoughts and actions. The way she manipulated her father and the revaluation of her mother’s death and how she truly feels about Justice, whooo! The ending conversation with Skye and how she exposed her secrets was actually terrifying. So terrifying that I cannot wait for the second book. Great job N’Dia!!!

HOLD THE DAMN PHONE. WHAT!? Nah. No way, no way, no way. Justice needs to keep an eye on Storie bc something is SO off about this lil girl 😭
I like Skye, and I fear that everything she’s doing is purely out of survival. But one thing I don’t question is how she feels about Justice, his children, and his family. That love and care is genuine. And don’t even get me started on how she is with Grandma Rita. The patience, the gentleness, the way she meets her where she is and knows how to redirect her when needed. You can’t fake that kind of compassion!!! I like her for Justice, too. She challenges him and pushes him in ways I think he wants/needs 🥹😜
There are so many skeletons buried in this story, and the deeper we get into it, the more I realize just how much has been going on beneath the surface. I love how the author gives us enough to question people’s motives without revealing too much too soon. I also really appreciate how she blends urban fiction with elements of suspense, more so in this book. There’s that constant curiosity about who did what, why, and how certain secrets are eventually going to come out. I’m not just invested in the characters and their stories, I’m also trying to piece together everything happening around them. We know for a fact that Skye is hiding something, and the more I read, the more I’m convinced Storie isn’t as innocent as she claims to be. And I can’t shake the feeling that she might know exactly what Skye is hiding. HOW she would know? Hell if I know, but having both of these things going on simultaneously and waiting to see how it all plays out is just chef’s kiss, omg!!! This author knew what she was doing when she wrote this series, I’ll tell you that. An easy 5 stars for me.

The Bad Seed
I'm in this book trying to figure out who's gonna out Skye first. At first I thought Justice was gonna stumble across something predictable but that wasn't the case. He literally had to piece some things together first before he acted on what was nagging at him all along. Then I thought about Storie because she was doing too much. Not to mention the side-eyeing and slick remarks. Ms. Rita although she's going thru what she's going thru. I still thought she would read her like a movie script and have Skye eventually tell on herself outta guilt. Nothing prepared me for the unveiling of the end. I can't wait until the next book because I wanna know how this story is about to turn out. There are too many moving pieces and Skye is running out of time and options.

SPEECHLESS 😶 😨😲
N’Dia Rae , is an Amazing writer! Yes I knew when I started this book that it was going to end with a Cliff
Hanger. I knew going in that Justice had two children
he loved unconditionally. I also knew that Justice deserved and needed a women in his life that would love him deeply because the mother of his Children
had died. So I thought I did understand where this book was going to go. Well I was correct it ended in a cliff hanger that left me with my mouth open with no words coming out.
I am confident in Knowing there will be at least two more books to follow because BAEBEE! There is a whole lot that’s going to be unpacked after what I just read.

Psychological Thriller
Wow! This is a psychological thriller and I was locked in for the ride. Storie was more than just a spoiled teenager. Everyone needs to lock their bedroom doors. Skye needs to talk to Justice more about what's going on in his house. I NEED MORE COMMUNICATION!! I had to read another book before I could write a review because I was too consumed in this story. I didn't want to give spoilers, so I'll just say... you won't be able to put this book down. I'm glad Justice II isn't available yet. It gave me time to sit with this book. Great storytelling, N'Dia Rae. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

It took me a bit to get into this story. The writing was initially overly poetic in a way was missing a human’s voice. So, I could take it or leave it at first, but it was clear that there would be some big reveals that might make it worth continuing, so I did. And boy oh boy.
Let’s call this book a psychological thriller with a little bit of romance thrown in. I have never read a book like this and the last third of the book made it a page turner. Like why is my heart rate up like I’m the one living in the house with HER? Immediately going to book 2. Thankfully I didn’t read this one until book 2 had been published just a few days ago.

Justice thought he had problems before. Now, he is being set up to face the enemy within. This book has so much craziness going on it kept me on the edge of my seat and staying up late to finish. I can't wait for the next book to see how this all plays out. All I know is Skye better dig deep and boss up. For real, for real. Skye should hav already come clean because the thing about secrets they never stay buried. Roman needd to be dealt with and Keenan ntb rescued! I'm kind of scared for Dream and Grandma Rita! I need book #2 ASAP. N'Dia Rae as usual you left us with so many questions! I hope book 2 is coming soon! This was excellent felt like watching a movie!

If the Banks series is top shelf whisky, then Justice is the best bottle yet.
Justice Banks meets Skye Mercer and the drama, the racing heartbeats and the anger all land in one book. The plot twists had me on the edge of my seat and the edges of my hair are gone 😯
N'Dia Rae built this story so well that I was hooked from the first page to the last.
My only regret is not waiting for the whole series to drop, because now I have to wait and I cannot take it.

Mouth is on the floor😱
Whooooaaa child😱 book 2, “where r u”!! I stayed up all night long reading this book. That cliffhanger was not what I was expecting at all. This book was good from the beginning till the end🥰 It’s hard to pick which brother I like the most lol but Justice is pulling at my heartstrings so bad. I just hate this for him😫 If u haven’t read this book, PLEASE start reading it now. You will not be disappointed

This book was good from the beginning till the end🥰 It’s hard to pick which brother I like the most lol but Justice is pulling at my heartstrings so bad. I just hate this for him😫 If u haven’t read this book, PLEASE start reading it now. You will not be disappointed

OMG! What in the world???? Talk about a cliffhanger! I hope Rita heard that convo between Storie and Skye cause Justice is about to lose his ish!!! I really wish Skye had just gone on and told him what was up from the beginning. I can't wait to see how this all plays out. I won't say too much more because I'd be giving spoilers. This was definitely a great read!

From the previous books I was thinking that maybe Story wasn't Justice's child! No way his daughters could be that different! Stories is diabolical! I really feel for Justice dealing with her! I really wish Skye would come clean with Justice! By the time she decides to leave Im sure Creed will be finished with his background investigation! He's quick and theral! And Dream is such a sweetheart! I know Justice and Melody will work this out! I can't wait to see how this ends for Story!

whoaaaa this was crazy asf, definitely a slow burn type of book. I do love how it ended and how long it took for anyone to figure out what happened and who did what. This was different for N’Dia Rae, it was a meticulous writing that I enjoyed and it almost felt like mystery in a way that I like. It matches the character Justice because he is mysterious in a way. I can’t wait for the next book because you really don’t know how it could all end.

Another Amazing Story
I have no words, many thoughts and emotions but my goodness. I couldn’t put it down, N’Dia Rae gets better and better with each book in the King and Banks series. This was so so good. I highly recommend you read it. That’s all I gotta say because I don’t want to accidentally give anything away just read it, you won’t regret it.

OMG! I was not ready!
Justice…this story was so well written. The tension was real. I really wish she would have trusted him with her secret but then we would not have this amazing story! I cannot wait for the next book. It’s crazy beefing with a fictional character but BABY! I can’t wait for Storie to get hers!
