En dépit de quelques longueurs, on se laisse prendre par l'histoire de ce couple en difficulté sur fond de plantation sudiste. Agréable lecture.

I loved this book :) it was full of twists & turns, but when Anne had a miscarriage with no recovery involved & immediately taking off on a plane, that part was a little unrealistic to me

This book grabs you in with mystery surrounding a 5 generation cotton plantation. Why the son left his "duty" on the plantation to become a major league baseball player. And how that influenced why he now as a husband is leary of becoming a father

Loved this book -- though Anne got a little whiny at times.
