Marion Drake is a man that controls every aspect of his life. The more he receives what he wants, the more he feels like the world is eating out the palm of his hands. Wealth, stability, and freedom are the things he has that attracts women on a daily. However, his lack of interest in their curiosity for him didn’t stop them from trying to bed him. Orianna Dunn is a woman all about her business. Being a realtor, she crossed paths with all sorts of people, so their status never fazed her. She also had her fair share of hurt in relationships, so they were no longer of any value to her. That was until she was offered something she couldn’t refuse. Sometimes you have to follow the rules in order to see the love at the end of the tunnel.

Well, alright Ms. Connie Easton! This story was different, but enjoyable. Marion Drake is a 58 year old billionaire, he’s a cold man into BDSM that is closed off to love. That is until he runs across 30 year old Orianna Dunn real estate agent & everything changed with a contract! He immediately knew that he met his match! Not only was he fascinated with her, but she was able to break down the wall that he put up to keep all women out with little to no effort in 24 hours. Marion was closed off due to the relationship he witnessed between his mother and father. Orianna had also sworn off men due to a bad experience she had with an ex boyfriend, but had taken to Marion rather quickly.
One lesson I received is, no matter how old you are, the things that you did or didn’t receive from your parents & upbringing can still affect you mentally, physically, emotionally, & spiritually if you let it. As well, no matter how old you are, no one is “stuck in their ways” if you want to change you can change! Although the relationship was rocky, in the end it seemed worth it.
I can say that, I loved the staff at Marion’s estate, but we need to know what happened to ole girl he fired. As well, I loved Ash but that best friend who didn’t know how to give a real apology was a hater, that was clear as day!! Anyway, this was my first book by this author & I think I’ll read more.!

4.5 ✨Permission To Feel is a sexy short story that captured my attention. Marion is a 58-year-old fox that is immediately attracted to Orianna when she is showing him a potential home. Marion is used to having his way; he has money and power and uses these things to his advantage. Marion offered Orianna a life-changing deal, but he was in for a surprise when she had her list of demands. The chemistry between the two was well-established. However, while Marion is not looking for love, Orianna wants to love and have an emotional connection. I appreciate the author explaining Marion’s aloof attitude and how he had to humble himself with Orianna. The spicy scenes were good, but I would have liked more scenes in ‘The Palace’ and more details of the Dom/Sub elements. I was happy to see the couple overcome their difficulties and get to a place that made them both happy.

Teach an old dog new tricks
I enjoyed this story despite the age gap of the main characters. I did struggle with them having such a significant age gap but mainly because I felt they didn’t know much about each other outside of sex. You could easily see that Ori taught Marion how to love and see him become accepting of her and wanting to make a change in his ways to keep her. I would have liked to see this couple engage more on page about their likes and dislikes and fears and the past that made them the way they were, but even without that, it was easy to see the chemistry and connection between this couple. I loved that Ori had Ashley and Kianna and they seemed to serve as her angel and devil conscious at times but their friendship and sisterhood was one I admired. I do hope to see more from both from this author and I hope Kianna is able to resolve the issues that she has from her past that make her so jaded. This was a very good read.

I enjoyed this. Mr. Drake was something else with himself, but Orianna was the for it all. I loved when she turned the tables on him. I'm glad she got what she wanted in the end. Now, I understood Kiana's hesitation and fears after Ori showed her the contract,but she did a tad bit much. Again I enjoyed this and can't wait to see what's next.

I absolutely loved this story! Orianna was a boss chick who knew what she wanted. She met Marion during a business transaction but was offered a unique opportunity to be paid to be enter into his world. Signing the contract changed the trajectory of both Orianna and Marion’s lives. I enjoyed delving into their story and seeing them both get the happy ending they deserved..

The chemistry between these two was everything. She showed him better than tell him. She saw love in Marion and a lasting relationship. He let his walls down and saw something it wasn't looking for love. Beautiful story.

Ummm... there comes a time in our lives when we have to admit we need to try certain things, so with that being said, I need a Mr. Drake! This old slick-talking man had me questioning a lot of my life choices 😂
I was so into this book I forgot it would be a quick read and was big mad when it ended. Connie Easton is a new author to me, but if this book is proof of her pen game, I'm a fan. This book was the perfect blend of an age gap and erotica. Marion and Orianna took me on a journey filled with acceptance, trust, and forgiveness. I loved Orianna and her determination to not settle for less than she deserved. Marion started off a little rocky for my taste, but babbbby when things got going, I was screaming TEAM MARION from the rafters! I would love to see more from them in the future.

August 24, 2026Let’s start off by saying this is a quick read, coming in at less than 200 pages, but Connie Easton still managed to give us plenty to work with. Now, there is a LARGE age gap here. Our FMC, Orianna, is a 30 year-old grown woman with a job, her own mind, and the ability to make her own decisions, while our MMC is pushing 60. But honey, don't let that number fool you because age was not slowing that man down AT ALL. 😂 He came into this story knowing exactly what he wanted, and he was not interested in settling for anything less. So when he lays eyes on Orianna, something about her has this man thinking he may have finally found the woman who can give him exactly what he's been looking for. Orianna, on the other hand, isn't quite as sure about this whole situation. And honestly, can you blame her? Sir came in applying pressure before she could probably even process what was happening. 😭
But then he makes her an offer...
And baby, it was the kind of offer that was VERY hard to ignore. 😂 Orianna may have had some reservations, but this man was pretty clear about what he wanted and who he wanted it from. Watching her figure out whether she was willing to step into what he was offering made this such an easy book to fly through. I originally downloaded Permission to Feel from B.R.A.E. back in 2025, so this one has been sitting there waiting patiently for me to get my life together and finally read it. 😂 I'm glad I circled back because sometimes you just need a quick read with a grown man who knows exactly what he wants and isn't afraid to say it.

PERMISSION TO FEEL WAS MORE THAN AN EROTICA, IT WAS LIVING AND EXCEPT THAT LOVE IN RETURN, FORGIVENESS AND HEALING. MOST IMPORTANTLY THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATING.
I LOVED HOW MRS EASTON GAVE US THE BACKSTORY ON WHY MARION WAS THE WAY THAT HE WAS WITHOUT DRAGGING THAT PART OF THE STORYLINE OUT. THE TALK WITH HIS FATHER WAS LONG OVERDUE AND IT ALLOWED THEM TO BOTH OPEN UP.

THEIR CHEMISTRY WAS MAGNETIC, THEIR SEXUAL CHEMISTRY WAS UNMATCHED, AND THE BOTH WERE BEING POSSESSIVE OF THE OTHER. I loved Mr. Drake, he brought sex appeal and stamina back and had me side eyeing a 50 something year old gentleman that was sitting across from me🤷🏾♀️. Mr. Drake put poor Orianna through the mattress, bench, and table every time they connected. Orianna was there for all of what Mr. Drake had to offer. He presented her with a contract, she countered presented her own contract. Im glad that Ori got what she set out to receive in the end.
Now, I understand that Ori’s bestfriend Kianna came from an abusive relationship, but she was going a little to hard on Ori for want to test her limits in the bedroom. Kianna came off as a jealous person and her mood just didn’t resignate with my book character spirit. Kianna did too much, said too much, thought too much, but the one thing she didn’t do as a best friend, is to be there to support without commentary.

Ori & Marion forever!!!
I loved this book from beginning to end. I really enjoyed reading about the FMC Ori/Rose she went after everything she wanted regardless of people’s opinions including her friends and family I could really relate to that. The MMC Mr. Drake the man that you are whew I really appreciated the growth in his character because I’ll be honest I wasn’t feeling him in the beginning. Oooh I can’t forget about the spice babyyyy those scenes packed a punch making for a nice balance of plot and spice

Baby, you wrote the hell out of this book! I don’t want to write much because I don’t want to be a spoiler but I can say I love me done Orianna! She knew what she wanted and went for it and in the end she got it! I love how Marion was unknowingly giving her what he rejected in the contract and in the end found what he needed his entire life!

This book was amazing! I love how Orianna didn’t let Marion play with her at all! Marion made me soooo mad when he did that to Orianna but all is forgiven! I’m glad they got their happy ending and I need some more of this couple!

Honestly this was actually a good quick read. The only thing I would say I didn’t like was the “your majesty” nonsense. Was a bit cringe to me but disregarding that and just focusing on the book itself, I liked it !

Ori was focused and determined when it came to her man. The way he folded and loved her. I’m going to need book two. The things he did to her had me wanted to call him Your Majesty 🌶️🌶️🌶️

I love when a FMC matches the MMC‘s energy and Ori did just that. this is the age gap romance where the gap is pretty huge. I think it’s like a 20 year difference but the female is grown grown so do with that as you please. this is erotica, quick Reed. She falls first and have him begging to come back.
