Hello and welcome! After obtaining my Art History degree from UMASS Dartmouth in 2000, I was hired by an American university to coordinate educational programs throughout Italy. In 2007, I settled in Florence to work as a museum guide. I've been a full-time author since my first book (SABINA) hit #1 in 2014.

My specialty is historical fiction set in Italy, although I do write different genres. I'm a globetrotter and do my utmost to visit every city and historical site mentioned in my novels in order to provide readers with vibrant descriptions.

This book was from the heroine's point of view. it is a telling of the duchess de unit Angelique. There is a history of her childhood and being forced into an arranged marriage to a cruel and sadistic man which leads to her being saved by her vampire sire. She finally finds true love with the most unlikely and forbidden man. Their lives dramatically change at this point. I really enjoyed this book, the characters and writing of a new to me author.

A paranormal book about vampires, slayers, and shifters mixed with a historical fiction novel. I really enjoyed this book, although I wasn’t too fond of the ending but I see how it sets up for the second book. I loved all the different settings and time periods. A fun read!

Loved Duchess de Nuit! I usually read historical fiction/romance only but this was the perfect mix of that plus vampires! Great ending, can’t wait to read the sequel.

AMAZING!!!!

The best Vampire story EVER!!! The Duchess is a woman to admire!! I read this in one day!! Suspense, passion, sensuous and heartbreaking...this book has it ALL!!! Oh yeah

Another great read! Covering centuries, a glimpse is given into an exotic, vengeful, harrowing and never boring "life" of a gorgeous female vampire. Can't wait to read the sequel...I have already downloaded. (That's why this review is short...got to get to part two)
