I was a bit disappointed in this read, just glad it was a short read. I’ll be honest, have never been into the sweet wholesome types of romance. I guess I was expecting a bit more of romance but this played out like a fake wedding just to save face for family.

Not my cup of tea.

2.5 stars I read this to complete a Kindle challenge, I wouldn't have selected this on my own. As this is a short story I was expecting an abbreviated story line but this was extremely rushed. It starts ok but then the main character has a 1 paragraph conversation that results in disaster and it's just welp, moving along. It was very jarring and unbelievable. Then the book ends on a cliffhanger for "book 2". So basically it seems the author chopped the chapters of a book into multiple short stories to create multiple books. Which is fine but I'm not interested enough to continue.

Huh? This wasn't a book, or a short story. It's the first part of a book, and not shaping up to be a good one. No character development, ridiculous story line, and then it just ends. Even if a book is part of a series, it should be able to stand even a little bit on its own.

Cute

Picked this as part of a Kindle Reading Challenge. A cute cozy novella, basically chapter 1 of a full book. Will probably read the rest on KU.

Ok

Certainly not my favorite read, and not a excited to have to read multiple books for a single story line. I am, however, intrigued enough to try book 2.

A little short story for the single scoop kindle challenge. Kept my attention and I’ll probably read the rest of them at some point!
