When the opening of the Great Rift delivers a mysterious world from the necrons' past back into realspace, Trazyn sees an opportunity – this is his chance to not only mend his quarrel with the embittered Orikan, but to uncover the fate of the last expedition to the Chaos-corrupted planet of Amenthis. What horrors of the past will they unearth in its depths, and what will their discoveries mean for their future?

Since 2018 he's served as Head Writer of the animated YouTube show Extra History, where his scripts have attracted over 200 million views

Following up the incredible infinite and divine was always going to be a challenge, not sure a follow up could match it, and this didnt.
But my word it was still great.
A more straightforward tale this time. Which took a bit of revving up to get going. With what felt like backslides in characters growth . But this was to seed deeper character beats further in the tale.
There was a touch too much excitement in using Valeria, who it seems was a character in a short story or two prior.
But it felts more like " did you get the reference" than background reveals which was a little jarring
However many of the little quibbles I feel are mollified by an ending stinger hinting this may be a 2nd act of a 3 act tale.
Either way while it may not hit the heights of I&D its still an excellently written great fun dose of more Trayzn and Orikan. And thats something to be thankful for
